It only takes five days to complete the 32-hour "curriculum." I recently popped in to try the Big Arch purely because of McDonald's CEO Chris K.'s social media video of him trying this "product." That said, the Big Arch isn't worth the calories. The McDonald's CEO said this has that "distinct McDonald's taste." It doesn't. If you handed me this burger with no box or context, I couldn't tell you it came from McDonald's. Way too many onions, both raw and fried. The sauce is a more peppery version of the Big Mac sauce and in reality, I don't think the poppy seeds on the bun did much. In the end, it's a "meh." Give it a try if you're curious though. I think it's safe to say it's a one-and-done. Gotta love the handy dandy app and curbside pick-up. It's almost too convenient to get those perfect golden fries! read more

While I don't eat fast food very often, I never lose the taste for your delicious cheese and egg biscuits. This morning I visited your McDonald's on S. Alma School Road in Chandler, located in the Safeway Shopping Center. The service was excellent. Your employee, Lloyd, was working so hard. He was very friendly, efficient and accommodating and successful in taking many orders and going back and forth from the register to the kitchen. This gentleman is very conscientious, a very hard worker. He is the kind of employee I would want working for my business, a real McDonald's asset. read more

I'm a regular at this location and used to be greeted with a smile and remembered by the staff. They always went out of their way to print receipts for my mobile orders because I keep them for documentation. Since the recent staff changes, the service has significantly plummeted. Employees now seem low-energy and do the bare minimum and wait times are excessive. Today, I asked for a printed receipt after switching a curbside order to drive-thru, and the manager refused, saying it was only available in the app. The dismissive handling of my request was frustrating, especially since the old employees printed me receipts every time. I hope the store works on improving consistency and customer care. read more

Not surprised they have been cited for food violations. B rating is probably more than they deserve. HORRIBLE customer service! What am I saying - there is no customer service. Manager is a coward who hides behind the teen at the window and is not willing to help when there is a problem. Maybe he has the teenage kid do his dirty work because he doesn't really speak English. Told me to call a number on the App - good luck finding that. Will not be returning. Burger King near me is much nicer and food is better -- they know how to treat their customers! The whole experience was pretty ok. The restaurant was relatively clean and the bathrooms were extremely well kept. The guy who brought us our food, who I believe is the manager, was very friendly. My mom and I got burgers and we both thought they were very good, and they were nice and hot. The fries unfortunately weren't as good and were kind of cold. Go to this McDonald's every morning for my mother and myself. Must say all staff are AWSOME. The Big bkfst including pancakes for my mom are hot and my bkfst is perfect. Staff make sure you have the proper utensils and condiments. Definitely a McDonald's worth going to. One more thing I've gone there for lunch again and their burgers and fries are also nice and hot. It's McDonald's. You know what you are getting when you choose McDonald's. Haven't had any real issues here other than what one might anticipate from a fast food chain - the occasional cold fries or missing item. I've generally found the people working here to be friendly and efficient. As I type I'm awaiting my mobile order to be brought curbside and the drive-in is moving quite quickly, something that is definitely appreciated at a fast food place. Came in about 25 mins ago my brothers ordered 2 20pc nuggets total of 40pc. We even checked the bag before leaving but once we got home and started taking the food out of the bag. There was one 2 10pc nuggets 20 only not 40..just two 10pc that's it. The receipt said 2 20pc totaling 40 the lady at the counter even read it clearly. This location is the absolute worst! How do you serve apple pies 4 hours past their disposal time? I only go here a couple times a month, but it's always the same; old fries, half made sandwiches, and now this. And God for bid you should go inside and actually try to talk to somebody. This restaurant is a joke, They sold me apple pie when I went there around 10pm but on the box it says that it was to be enjoyed by 1:37 pm and 4:01pm over 5 hours it's over served. Honestly, we just went through the drive-through at 5:00 PM so before the rush-hour traffic. We were the only car in the drive-through and I specifically ordered a double cheeseburger happy meal and I told the guy twice that it needed to be plain just cheese and meat.....simple as my son is allergic to pickles and onions. Thought it was a simple order because there was no one in the dining area when I had to repark and go in and then wait another 15 minutes because there is nobody at the counter so I really don't understand how as a society, these kids are getting paid way more money but yet the orders are still messed up?!? Our family don't go to fast food that often but I can tell you, if I go to In-N-Out where there's 30 cars in the drive-through and every seat is taken in the dining area. The orders come out perfect every single time but yet McDonald's with 3 customers can't even get a double cheeseburger, plain correct!!!! read more

I am writing this review to compliment an employee who I feel went above and beyond. As a "Special Treat" my daughter can have her favorite dinner which is a chicken nuggets happy meal. As I was picking up my daughters dinner through drive-thru, I asked the gentleman who was handing me her happy meal to be sure there were 2 ranch's and a toy in the box (We have had this happen before, and any parent knows a happy meal is no good with out a toy) He confirmed they were both in there. We got home. No toy. I called and asked to speak to the manger, who was Lily. She was so apologetic and insisted on making it right. We ran back through drive through and Lily made my daughter her own treat bag with a few extra for the trouble. This made my daughters night! Thanks Lily! Awful service. They kept rushing me on my order and then when I got it it was completely wrong. One sandwich had no Mayo when I said light Mayo. They forgot my happy meal and I had to sit and wait for it . They didn't put enough nuggets in my thing but for how long they took on it it should've had enough. Well I went from Drive through to eat in car then straight to Safeway bathroom. Not a pleasant journey. It went in solid, but came out in liquid form - brown and strong. Everything looked normal with the Bacon, egg and cheese biscuit, but 30 seconds after finishing, things went south. I think the 7 minutes in the can cleared things up, but beware of that item and this location. read more

I went to this location early this morning to get breakfast, something easy. we went up to the first window and my boyfriend realized he forgot his wallet, we did not know they took apple pay at first so he told the cashier that we'll be back within 5 minutes and sorry for the trouble. i asked if they took apple pay and her reply was "we do... that is all u had to ask" in a sarcastic mad tone as if her life depended on this wallet. when the order was paid off she gave us our receipt crumbled up and slammed the window. the food was good no complaints on that end but my complaint stands with the cashier who had her panties in a bunch over a wallet. read more

This place is a good option for taking kids when the weather gets a little warm or cold outside. The childrens play area is fairly large and clean in comparison to other play areas you might find at say a Chik-fil-e or other franchise. The staff is OK for the most part. There have been a few occasions where they have missed things in my order. Luckily I mostly dine-in so they are able to correct it right there and then. This is a story about "going the extra mile"... Which is exactly what I do when I drive an "extra mile" down the road to a different McDonald's location, instead of going to this, closer, more convenient one. EVERY single time I have gone to this location they have messed something up. Wrong orders, forgotten items, miss-charged credit cards, are just a few of the things that this collection of knuckleheads consistently excels at. Just spoke to the manager at this McDonalds on Alma School at Chandler Heights about the lack of service my friend and I received in their drive through around 1:45 PM today. I ordered the 6 piece McNugget Happy Meal. My friend ordered a Coke. As we left, I noticed there wasn't ANY dipping sauce or ketchup in my bag! My friend got a drink a little bigger than my kids' meal drink! If they're advertising all sizes for $1, they didn't even ask what size of drink she wanted. In this case, she wanted a large drink! We had to drive all the way around through the drive through and wait in line again--just to get the dipping sauce! I realize this is McDonalds I'm talking about, but what kind of service and customer service were this?!? Chicken McNuggets were cold by the time I got the honey mustard sauce! This is the worst McDonalds I've ever been to in my life! The manager wasn't comprehending these examples I told him, never once did he apologize or make any restitution! Couldn't understand the girl on the intercom or at the window! Where do they get these people?!? If you need to go to McDonald's I suggest driving a mile up the road. This is probably the slowest fast food restaurant I have eaten at. The last straw was while waiting for my food in the drive through one of the managers was changing trash but after he was done he didn't wash his hands and just put my food in the bag to give. We went here and they messed up my 3 kids orders and 2 adult orders. So I called in and was promised a replacement order when I came back in. But when I went back in they told me they would not replace the order and their policy is you have to bring back the food to get it replaced but none of this was told to me when I called in about the screwed up order and had the name of the person who told me this over the phone and it was even written in their office book for order replacement and they refused to replace the order after making me sit and wait for 45 minutes just to tell me this. This was not the first time they had screwed up our order either. Anyone who has allergies and wants ordered food accordingly don't go here as they don't make the order correctly and what you get home and open your order up and see it is made wrong and you call them and they say that next time you come in it will be replaced and you have the receipt with name of person you spoke to and they even write it in the office book don't expect it to actually happen and you will sit forever to find this out when they have maybe 1 or 2 customers. I have never been forced to bring food back to get it replaced. Especially when you have hungry kids who have school the next day and so your not gonna make them wait longer to eat so you can take the food back that the place screwed up completely on. Your gonna call in and good customer service places say we will replace it next time you come in and actually do what they say. Then your gonna do what you can so your kids can eat quickly cuz your kids are starving right. I see why this location has only 2 and a half stars it should be zero. read more

Great for young children and the staff are always nice. They also have a TV with sporting events being broadcasted in the sitting area by the playground. It's been my only opportunity to keep up with basketball this year. read more
