ZERO STARS!!! Everyone seemed higher than a kite. I went in to order my kid a happy meal and you would have thought I asked the workers to make a space ship. First off, you have 0 human interaction until you get your item. Which I can guarantee is probably not the correct order so double check your order. The 3 people I talked to about the happy meal not being right had glazed over eyes and dying brain cell. Seriously cheeseburger happy meal how hard is it? i'm a DoorDasher and they decided that it was OK for them to take my phone into the kitchen when troubleshooting the order I was picking up. They're extremely slow working from my view into the kitchen from the front. Purchase food through the app and when picking up extra food was added to my bill. I asked them to take it off my bill and I didn't want or need the food. Window employee advised he couldn't help and I'd have to make changes or cancel the order in the app. No option to modify my order in the app and when I tried to cancel the app showed it couldn't process my request which I took a screenshot shot of. I spoke to a manager and same excuse, "sorry I can't help you". That's my issue with this restaurant. When I contacted corporate with my complaint, receipt, and screen shot of the error they advised me to contact my bank about the charges and also refused to help. This is a review during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic... not sure how things are normally but this is our experience. Stopped to get gas and grab some grub while on the road. I wasn't sure if this place was even open. Found out it was drive through only. Luckily the restrooms were open... well, kind of "luckily" as they didn't seem the cleanest. (Plus, the tile work in the ladies restroom was atrocious. Very sloppy work. Missing grout, splitting caulk, uneven tiles. Just terrible.) Anyways, we ordered in the drive through. Staff were friendly. Service was a tad slow. We ended up having to pull over and have them bring our order out to us. (Two 10-piece meals). But, we have to say, our food came out HOT. this mcdonalds is ALWAYS out of ice cream and they mess up my order almost everytime i go there. for instance, last time i went through the drive thru i order my food, the girl at the second window asked what we had. i handed her my receipt so she could see for herself what we had ordered. then she gives the receipt back to me and hands me a bag of everything but what we ordered and as i pulled away she opens then window quickly and throws me another bag of food. i knew there was no way it was our order because that was so much food. grant it - i kept it because who doesn't love free food. we got a lot more than what we paid for. i was still upset because i didn't get what i wanted and i'm sure whomever got our original order wasn't happy either. they could pay more attention to what they're doing so these things don't happen. read more

When you pull up at the drive thru there are stray dogs asking for food and trash just blowing around EVERY WHERE.We were on a trip and didn't have much time to find something else so we just ordered.We ordered $33 worth of food.We ordered TWO fish fillets and only received ONE!!! When we went back in to complain the guy at the front crumbled our recipe but proceeded to give us our fish fillet. This location remains to be terrible. I ordered online at just after 2am. drove 10 miles to be told through the speaker that they are only accepting cash. I tell them that I ordered online and was told they have nothing to do with the app. Apparently, they shut the registers down at 2 until breakfast starts at 3 or 4 and only accept cash ( which sounds real shady). I've said it before and I'll say it again. McDonald's is the place to go if you are on a diet. No -it is not because the food is disgusting and you won't want to eat. McDonald's food in the US is perfectly good. (McDonald's food in the US is way better than McDonald's overseas. Overseas - they buy just about anything for raw ingredients. You don't want to buy cheap bad meat in Latin America or Asia - but in Latin America or Asia this is what McDonald's buys. Overseas, if you eat at McDonalds, enjoy your greaseburger. Here in the US, corporate controls purchasing with an iron fist and standards are kept very high. The original quality of the ground meat is excellent and your burger will be okay.) * * * McDonald's is good if you are on a diet because their little kid cheeseburger is EXACTLY 300 calories. One McDonald's cheeseburger and a diet drink will hold you for 3-4 hours comfortably, and taste real good ... and you are only at 300 calories. * * * Note that McDonald's is on an "quality upgrade" which is mostly good news with some minor downsides. They have newer fancier sandwiches. The interior decorating has gotten spiffy. They have outlets everywhere for your computer. I don't hang out at McDonald's to get work done the way I would at Starbucks. But you could and it would not be awful. * * * The only downside to the upgrade is that they use fancy electronic menus that feature the high-mark-up items management WANTS to sell to maintain their profit margins - and not everything available for sale. Salads for instance have to be asked for explicitly. So does my 300 calorie cheeseburger. But the food is still there - and they will be nice about getting you what you really want. Some people don't mind partial menus. I find them nuisancesome. * * * That said - this is a good place. For the record - DISBELIEVE the other Yelpers who complain about the service here. I think some people only Yelp about fast food if they have a bad experience ... since after all, who doesn't know about McDonalds? But that means when McDonalds does something right, Yelp never hears about it. I have eaten various times at the McDonalds on Highway 71 at the Travis/Bastrop border - and the service is actually BETTER than the service I get from most other McDonalds. They never get your order right here and these young kids don't care. And they don't honor things that the app. promises. I said no cheese on the burger that turned out to be a tiny mac, certainly not a big mac, but even though it took WAY longer than it should have, still had cheese on it. The folks working here are very young and not friendly at all. They should train their employees about how to treat customers and not act all entitled. The manager offers to replace the meal, but not worth the second drive when you unload your family, in freezing g temps and get them settled at home with warm meal from McDonald's, to find one meal short!! Manager FIFI offered to replace if I came back. It the disappointment and the requirement to dress all and get back in the car is just PUNISHING Wish you can do better. By McDonalds' standards, this place is a dump. Every table, whether in use or not, was dirty. There was trash on the floors and on the tables. Many customers do not bus their own tables. This is a working class McDonald's, so expect to hear a lot of Spanish and screaming, crying kids. And yelling Grandmas. In my entire time there, I did not see a single table get cleaned. This McDonald's is kinda sad. They need prayers. I placed my order, got my drink and sat down (I was the only person in the whole restaurant.) More people started to come in and everyone got their orders except me. After 20 minutes I asked about my food. They gave me the two cold burgers and upgraded my fries for the wait. I work down the road from this Mc donalds I will tell you that most of the time it is clean however the service sucks the food quality is getting worse and worse everytime i go in there, God forbid you go through the drive thru your order will be wrong 3 out of 4 times. the prices on the signs are not what rings up on register watch it closely you will be over charged every time. Avoid at all costs. Not that any McDonald's is amazing, but this is the worst. Stale bread, nasty, stale, unsalted fries, screwed up orders...I have yet to see the same person working there more then once. Every now and then, I forget my lunch, and since it is the only place really close to my job, I am forced to go there or grab something from a convenience store. Tonight September 12, 2017 at 9pm, I ordered the Mc Pick 2, a Fish filet and a quarter pounder with cheese Whike I was placing my order , I could hear lots of loud laughing coming over the speaker. So.much do that the person tsking the order had to ask me to tepeat it I got my order and before pulling away, I grabbed the fish filet and was going to take the top bun off, do as to eat only one piece of bread. The fish filet was missing approximately 1/4 of the fish. It looked as if someone had bitten it. I went inside and spoke to the manager. He looked at the sandwich and then asked me if it was like tjis when I got it. I said yes, thats why im here. He looked at me in discuss, never appoligized and judt ealk away. I vould hear him in the back speaking loudly then noticed two of his employees peek around to see me. The manager then walked back into dight and slammed the fish filet into the trash. He then started to walk towards me with an angry look and just ealked passed me. I asked him, is there a problem, and he said "no, i just font like the way they put on the tarter sauce" Then just ealked away After standing there for about 8 minutes, he returned to the vpinter and asked if i was told it was going to be a long wait. As someone who works well into the wee hours of the morning. I'm pleased to inform you that this McDonald's is pretty great at 3am on a weekday. The food is always pretty fresh and the sweet tea (this is what I prefer to get at mickeys" actually tastes like it was brewed recently! That never happens at any other one I've visited. The same guy is usually there. Working both windows. He's my favorite. Everyone is friendly but he's not overly friendly in a fake way. He's rather genuine. And he always gets my order right.
