They have a lot of options on the menu. On Sundays they also have a local Mexican/American homestyle breakfast buffet. Part of the buffet menu rotates, but they usually have scrambled eggs, migas, hash browns, chicharrones en salsa verde, refried beans, nopalitos, biscuits & gravy, sausage patty, sausage link, bacon, oatmeal, fruit (peaches, grapes). Most importantly: infinite menudo. Not pictured are the made-to-order options that are part of the buffet: french toast, pancake, or they can warm up toast or tortillas. Ask when you order the buffet. The restaurant itself is on the rustic, smaller side: seats 50 max (probably less per fire code). There is additional parking next door by Clint's Liquors (the parking lots are connected by a small wooden foot bridge). I absolutely love this place. The food is really really good. Karen is the absolute best waitress.... super friendly. The only negative thing I would have to say is you have to call to make sure they're open because they change their hours and they change the days that they're closed almost monthly. This used to be one of our favorite places to go until recently. On two separate occasions I received rotten food! The first time we went in for dinner. I ordered a meal with rice and beans. The beans were rotten. Every other time the beans had a good flavor. This time my stomach turned instantly at just the smell. When I told the waitress she took my plate to the back where they removed the beans. When she came back she said that they told her that it was the seasoning. I didn't eat my dinner and I got them to take it off the bill. A few weeks later we gave them another try. I ordered the catfish basket. My husband ordered a chicken fried steak plate. The mashed potatoes were cold and hard. The chicken fried steak was mostly crust, and the small piece of meat had so much gristle. So as he's trying his hardest to get through his meal I finally try a piece of fish. I spit it out and started gagging. I asked my husband to smell a different piece from the other side. He said, "Don't eat that! It's bad." So my last two meals there I was given rotten/ bad food. read more

We chose this place based on Yelp reviews. You seat yourself, so we found a place and sat. The waitress was quick to bring chips and salsa and take our drink order. Wife just ordered water and tea for myself; she brought us both tea. Wife ordered an enchilada/taco combo, the waitress even pointed at the menu acknowledging her order and asked what sides, my wife confirmed beans and rice. I ordered the all you can eat catfish Saturday special. When they brought our plate, they sat my catfish meal down first, then started to give my wife a catfish/shrimp meal. My wife told her this is not what I ordered, the waitress replied "you ordered the seafood combo" which she did not, she ordered the combo plate (2 enchiladas and a taco, with beans and rice), so her meal had to be returned and the correct meal made. We weren't given any silverware so I had to go to the counter to get napkins. There was no offer of tartar sauce or ketchup to go with my fish and fries.....so I'm eating while my wife is waiting on the correct meal. I'm very picky on catfish and they really do a great job with it!! Wife's food finally came out (we still had to ask for silverware), she said it was "just ok" but the rice was not cooked all the way and had several hard pieces. I had some catfish left from my first plate, so I asked for a small to-go container. The waitress acknowledged, but never came back with one. I had to go to the counter and request our check and my to go box. I had to get them to correct the check, because it was still showing seafood platter with beans and rice...my bill went from $45 to $25 when corrected.... We will not be back. read more

When pulling up to this place it doesn't look like much. I was actually very skeptical about going inside my first time. But do not judge a book by its cover this place has some really amazing food. And also free margaritas how can you go wrong? We started off with Torre De Ceviche I prefer mine with a little bit more acid so I just asked for a couple more limes and squeezed them over top and it made it perfect. But did you see the size of this thing? It's a whole meal in itself. So delicious. My husband ordered the three taco platter he loved it. I had the Camaromes La Diablo. I am really upset with what will be my final experience here. Alex, as the owner, you have really let this place fail. We have been coming here for awhile and when my daughter comes to visit me, this is always where she wanted to go. Tonight we went in for dinner, we have always been able to order breakfast all day long. However, tonight we go in and we are handed a menu that has breakfast, lunch and dinner. My boyfriend wanted to order breakfast and we were told by what was a new waitress that we could not order breakfast. Whatever, don't hand me a menu when I can't order half of what's in it...so, my boyfriend orders a burger and fries, he receives his burger and half of what was supposed to be on the burger is not on it. I ordered the shrimp fajitas...the rice and beans come out at least five minutes before my shrimp fajitas, yay... Everything is now cold. So not only was the food for the first time horrible, the service was atrocious, whoever this new waitress is, needs to be fired. She has given the worst service I have ever received, and the for time in my life I have never given a tip. This is quite the find. I would say from the outside the place may not at first catch your eye as you fly down hwy 71 but it has just the most amazing selection. From seafood to burgers to Mexican food to breakfast to Texas comfort food. Oh my!! Its a small Cafe with limited parking and seating.... but those folks can cook!! Staff is extra awesome! This place is what you'd consider a hidden gem on most days. Day is simply NOT one of those days. It took more than 10 minutes for us to get a simple glass of water, at which time we also placed our food order. We have literally been waiting for 30 minutes for our food at this point. One meal is their daily special, and the other is beef enchiladas- nothing complicated or extra fancy. The wait wouldn't be quite so bad if we'd even been offered or given chips and salsa. I understand that there appears to be one waitress managing all the tables by herself, but she didn't offer any explanation for the incredibly long wait.
