Poor customer service. Person taking order could barely speak English - had to ask them to repeat whatever they were trying to say. Paid for order (quarter pounder); asked to drive up to window near end of building. 5 or 6 vehicles were serviced while I waited for a simple order. One car waiting behind me got their order before I did. Inordinate amount of time waiting. Whoever is in charge of this location is incompetent. Finally received order after I began blowing my horn. Very nice, clean and modern looking place. It is a new location and a number of times I have gone there things have gone pretty smooth. They have Two Lanes at the drive thru and they do take your orders quickly. Any size coffee is only $1.00, pretty good! read more

I had to put 1 star. I wouldn't give them that. Can't even get my order right. Everything i got was cold and old. Ordered a breakfast sandwich which McDonald's claims is all day and i get attitude for it. I was told it would take 15 to 20 minutes for my breakfast sandwich... i didn't know cracking an egg and cooking bacon takes 20 minutes. This McDonald's has no customer service since they got the kiosks. My family and I decided to dine in. First appearance, no one cared is at the counter so we went to the kiosk. When we finished closing our items we noticed the were no numbers to bring our food to us. When we asked for them, the cashier said just pick a number and we'll call u to get it. Sitting down we noticed the tables were dirty and the staff unorganized. The automated soda machines had no ice. And when I received my food, the 20 piece nuggets were cold and hard. Went there early Saturday morning at 530 am too grab a cup off coffee. Walked in. Only person in there was a homeless man sleeping. Stood at counter 15 mins,3 songs played. A female was working the drive thru. Looked at me several times ,did nothing. I looked around the counter and all the staff was by the back,not paying attention. Finally a lady with a head set saw me. She said nothing. So I told her I've been standing her 15 mins, no one else is in here and you don't bother too say anything. I walked out. The staff here is extremely rude. Always get my order wrong at the drive thru, making me have to go in to fix it. When I do, they always claim "I said the order wrong" and have nothing but an attitude when I want the order fixed. Not helpful, place is also dirty. I never dine in that McDonald's but when I did of course they were cleaning the ceilings of dust. I love the new kiosks and having a floor manager. I think that they're moving in the right direction as my generation and younger generations prefer dealing with apps and programs than people, yet combined with the floor manager ensures that if there are any problems, it gets resolved quickly and to the customers satisfaction. read more

New location - it seemed clean enough and the staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered 2 happy meals for the kiddies. It was the first time we've ordered it in any McDonald's, so I can't blame this specific location, but the burger was terrible. The apple slices, yogurt and chocolate milk were a big hit though. I don't think kids should be eating burgers anyway, but it I wish it tasted a little bit better for the adults who have to finish these meals :) read more

The young kids from the high school who work at this McDonald's are so polite and helpful. One student was extra attentive while I was their with my nephew. Made sure that my nephew was happy with his meal. read more

This was my first visit to Mc Donald's since it opened in Kinnelon! I must say, it is also going to be my last visit to their location. My friend and I had to wait for a cashier, who repeated our order at least three times. 1/4 # with cheese and bacon and 1/4 # meal, two small iced teas. A few minutes later she called our number, when we opened the burgers (supposedly FRESH made according to the advertisement) we found dry overcooked beef with a few strips of onion, a warm pickle slice, tons of ketchup and NO bacon. My friend took them back to the register. When he finally got someone's attention, the manager went to the prep area and yelled, 'There's no bacon on these burgers, come on people', loud enough for all to hear. A minute later, out came the burgers, even drier than before, with two tiny strips of bacon hidden under a ton of ketchup. Mind you, one burger was ordered NO KETCHUP due to dietary restrictions! This was a $16.19 disaster lunch! Sorry but you just lost two more Kinnelon Senior Citizens! read more

The food is the normal McDonald's fair. The service is awful. More than half the time the drinks are weak, orders are wrong, and often cold, and forget about the wait time at the drive through...bring a magazine because you are going to wait. Management needs to step up and either train their employees better, or get new ones. Tried 3 times to go to this facility. Should have stopped at 2. First time, I got sick on the food. The second time, they had no soda - machine was broken - that was several months ago. The third time, no orange juice - machine was broken. And the manager is never available to address or solve problems.
