I am writing a review because of the location of the place, the cleanliness and the view you get while sitting outside enjoying your food/drinks. I usually stop by on my bike ride to get some coffee. Hot or iced. I do go in here to use the bathroom with my purchases.. the bathrooms are kept clean, which is super important. The kiosks recently have been broken and only one worked.. so that is inconvenient when there is a big line. Birds visit here often, I guess they like the food lol. The train station is also right there so it does make for a nice little view. There is also a beach nearby which makes this a nice little location. read more

NEVER ever visit this store! I parked in their parking lot and went in the store to buy a coffee. in these 3 minutest my car was towed! i know it sounds unreal, but this is the fact. This is a review about the McDonald's restaurant #4345 at 606 Neptune Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11224. They are continuously scheming and lying, and I have lost a lot of money over and over again with their lies. I constantly order two chocolate shakes on the app for my friends which is directly billed to my credit card. On any other McDonald's store app, the store lists chocolate shake as being unavailable if it is not available. This store refuses to list it as unavailable and lets you order it and then when you get to the window they give you vanilla and lie and say it is chocolate as if we are stupid, or else try to replace the chocolate shakes with a hot caramel latte or whatever else. Today I have reached my limit with them. I just called them too many times at 1-718-996-1029 and it says the voicemail is full. This is typical. It also says on the receipt to email them at neptune04345@gmail.com which I did another time, and of course, with no response. When you call McDonald's customer service about this restaurant, they cannot help you because for some reason this restaurant is not included where you can complain about them. This is also the only restaurant that I have visited that does not let you participate in a survey and write down a code on the receipt. This allows them to literally do whatever they want. Today I googled this McDonald's restaurant to write a review, and it literally comes up on TripAdvisor as being permanently closed, and it has the same number as it does on the receipt. There is something very fishy about this restaurant, and I am not talking about their fish sandwich. By the way, when you are there in person at the window, and you ask to speak to the manager, they always say that the manager is not there. Well, it is time to hold this restaurant responsible. I will be writing to the Better Business Bureau because I have had it with them! They do not even deserve the one star, but there is no option for zero stars. read more

Just because I parked my car in the parking lot and went to deal with other stuff first. When I came back to order food, my car was locked by the tow truck company. The tow truck driver told me that the McDonald's manager asked him to come because I didn't order food right away. Instead, he walked away and let me pay. It cost me nearly $300 to unlock my car I will never come here again, including any McDonald's read more

I was there this morning and bought a coffee prior to heading to the DMV. Unfortunately, I wasn't made aware that my car would get towed even though I made a purchase. I was charged $250 (sign says $187.50 plus tax) for my car to get brought back . Furthermore, I waited over 45 minutes for my vehicle when I was told it would take 10-15 minutes. In that time, I saw them tow 4 cars, and 2 of those were customers inside of McDonald's. I would suggest not to park there even if you are purchasing something from McDonald's. Use the drive thru instead. I will never return to that McDonald's since I paid $252 plus for coffee. Smh. I have reached out to McDonald's corporate to alert them to this scam. read more

THEY MESS UP MY ORDER EVERY TIME. TWO TIMES IN A ROW THEY NEVER CAN GET AN ORDER RIGHT. BY ORDER I MEAN LESS THAN FOUR ITEMS REALLY??. I rarely go to this McDonald's, it used to be good many many years ago. Now, you can take a nap in your car waiting for them to get to your turn in line at the drive thru. Literally, no exaggeration solid 30 minutes. Not to mention after waiting thirty minutes you cant get an order correct. If I order mozzarella sticks why did I get chicken nuggets??. If i order fries why are they not in the bag.?? If you go to this McDonald's just check everything before you move from the drive thru... While I have patience to wait in line they should really get the order right. Food is your typical McDonalds food, minus the accuracy of your order. They renovated the inside since Hurricane Sandy but I haven't been back inside, and mostly utilize the drive thru. While the typical McDonalds food is greasy and unhealthy as usual, I do enjoy the hot fudge sundaes. My advise is indulge in a hot fudge sundae or oreo mcflurry and get some all day breakfast pancakes past the old 11am cutoff (feels awesome to have no restrictions on pancakes!.) My next advise is going to a McDonalds that can actually make your order correctly. TAKEAWAY FROM THIS REVIEW: GO TO ANOTHER MCDONALD'S!! read more

We ordered a shake online, paid for it, went to the drive thru, were then told that shakes were not available. The cashier was willing to substitute the $4 shake for an equally priced item. We asked for chicken tenders. When he asked the manager, she was unwilling to exchange a drink item for a food item even though the dollar value was the same. It was very frustrating. And we were hungry. We then decided to leave with nothing, having paid $4 for nothing since we didn't want a frappe or other drink item. We couldn't leave because the car in front of us was stuck at the second window for a a long time. While stuck behind the other car, the manager came outside and apologized and explained that she called someone and got permission to give us the chicken tenders we wanted (and paid for). She apologized and we all felt better and understood one another. When she brought out her order, she was kind enough to throw in some fries and a couple apple pies. Always some sort of unpleasant situation. There is not one good think I can come up to say about this Franchisee other than the order comes out fast. I had issues with parking, they gave me problem with paying through the app! You can't walk in to pick up order after 5pm. I hope it gets better cause the location is convenient. read more

Alan is the best employee. He's the nicest man always happy and upbeat and willing to help. My coupon wasn't working and he got a manager to make it go through. He also offered me plenty of options when the kids meal choices my son wanted weren't available. I hope he gets a raise read more

This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. I ordered my food on the app, picked it up. When I got home I was missing fries, and a sandwich. I didn't bother going back out because who would actually go back to McDonald's after coming home. Told them the issue the next time I came and received attitude as if I was trying to get something for free. The employee laughed at me. Sir, you work at a fast food restaurant. You don't see me laughing at you, do you. Ignore this place. There is another McDonald's up the block. Been coming here for 20 years and this one will never get another dime from me. I would not give a star if this allows me to. Tow truck trying to tow my car away while I was inside ordering and waiting for the food!! The tow truck guy only saw my husband walk out the parking lot but didn't see me go inside. I don't know what kind of tow truck company this McDonald's is using but they don't even make sure the car belongs to a customer before towing. The rim is scratched and according to the witnesses the car was jerked up and down. Ah! While we were filling the report with the police, two guys came in from outside, got in the car and left, the beverage cups they were holding weren't even from McDonald's. read more

Minimum wage is way too much for the people who work here to be paid. It's always a gamble coming here because most of the time you don't get what you order. You ask for grilled chicken you'll probably get a burger. Why bother even asking what I want when you can just say "you'll take what I give you cause it's not gonna be what you order either way". read more

The outside of the store had garbage strewn about as customers sat and ate their food. The inside tables are still roped off so you cant eat which I dont know why with the pandemic pretty much gone. Service is quick though, however ordering through the kiosk I was never given a receipt either in the bag with the food or from the kiosk. read more

Only reason I frequent this McDonald's location these days is for the Iced Coffee, since I barely eat their food anymore. Iced Coffee wise, why do I like it ? Because I like the strength and flavor of the coffee and the fact that it's affordable. I always ask for milk and no sugar since they use cream and I don't like sugar in my coffee. (Though one time it tasted like they brewed the same beans multiple times, burnt it, and tried to mask the burnt with extra water put in..... What ?) Anyone notice how McDonald's is all sly and opens locations nearby schools ? #sotrueright. Anyways, it can get loud and crazy after school hours but I don't mind. Service wise, don't really care. Can say though that some of the people working are nice, some are ok, some are total bitches. Not surprised though, cus #whatdoyouexpect. Overall, If you're craving fast food, sure, visit. Just don't expect amazing hospitalify. After seeing tow trucks a couple of times waiting on the sidewalk or down the block, along with reading other reviews, keep an eye out if you're driving here. #wtf read more

Just imagine the ground burger with all the toppings covering french fries and add melted white cheese. Since I was alone I didn't order a pizza because how would I eat it all, but next time I will try the pizza. I don't mind paying extra for a burger when it's aged beef and the taste is great. I definitely recommend this location. There is a fast food burger restaurant next door to Emily's but I can't imagine there burgers compare. I will try them another time and let you know. I ordered: * Truffle Maker ($11.59) * Truffle Parmesan Fries ($6.50) * Chicken Bites with BBQ sauce ($8.05) * Large Yuzu Honey Lemonade ($4.00) Truffle maker was pretty good and I was glad I was able to remove the caramelized onions and truffle aioli (I'm picky). The bun is soft and sweet and the burger has a good amount of sautéed mushrooms. Truffle Parmesan fries were pretty standard, but still very good. Yuzu honey lemonade has bits of citrus at the bottom of the drink and it was refreshing. I saved the chicken bites hours later and it was still pretty crispy after being microwave. Texture was reminiscent of Taiwanese popcorn chicken, nicely seasoned. Overall had a pleasant experience, I definitely want to return and try the rest of their menu.

Not all restaurants have restrooms that are made available to customers. That is an A+ in my book. Food 10/10 I ordered Hous Burger (hold the onions. Don't at me) it was pretty good. The taste of their burgers is different from most of the burger places I have tried before. I have also ordered Yuzu Honey Lemonade. I was trying to taste the honey in the lemonade. I guess I was expecting too much. The drink was refreshing. I may try the Matcha Yuzu Lemonade next. I met a gentleman who goes by the name Ten P aka 10pushups on IG. He recommended that I try his cola shake. That is what I got, plus the whipped cream. I was honestly looking for the taste of Coca-Cola because Cola is in the name. Regardless of what I expected, the shake was pretty good. I am not a shake person, so when he asked me to try it, I made an exception. Overall: I plan on coming back to Bun Haus. This was good eats.
