The shop is a bit crowded with lots of round tables and a small amount of counter seating facing the outside windows. There's a wall of bookshelves stocked with reading material. There's also some outside seating. The staff was friendly, but it seemed to take an extremely long time to make my girlfriend's latte. We were both tired and a bit cranky, so perhaps we were impatient. It actually took about six minutes to make that one drink, after checking my notes. Hmmm. I don't know what they do when they get busy. My girlfriend reported that her latte was fine, so I guess that's the conclusion. Pretty average.

The tone was curt and dismissive, and it completely undercut what had been a great experience. There's a professional way to manage timing--this wasn't it.
