When I complained to the manager at the drive-through, she was proud of her policy. No apologies, no remorse, she was happy to lose my order. It's McDonald's. We know what to expect. It has improved greatly over time, and this is my preferred store. Using the app, things come out quick and accurate. Open 24 hrs! And most recently I don't know if they have new management or what... but the food has been better. My son had never been to McDonald's before so we came here to meet some fam for a little lunch on a rainy day. It was clean, which is nice. We dined in and ordered off a kiosk. Seemed kind of silly because my kiosk malfunctioned at the payment portion and I had to go to the counter to pay anyways. They are trying to up their customer service and give you a number to bring you your food. This is where the experience lacked for us. The worker was all sorts of confused and forget things for our group left and right and we really didn't order that much. Once we had our food, it did hold up to the McDonald's I know and love. My family and I went to this particular McDonald's branch as a last-minute thing following a shopping trip. My son has a food allergy, so we are very careful to check ingredients on new items, and normally we check allergen menus online before going anywhere. However, many other McDonald's restaurants have been able to produce an allergen menu for us to look at when we go, so we incorrectly assumed they would be willing to assist us. On this visit, we inquired about the ingredients of a new menu item. The employee taking our order was very polite, however she said she wouldn't be able to find us that information. She said she asked her manager, who said the same thing. At that point, we left and visited a different McDonald's branch for what we needed. read more

This McDonalds was the BEST one I have been to in 25yrs!!! The restaurant's staff were welcoming and friendly! While they had kiosks they did not ignore customers who wanted to order with an employee. The food was all fresh and HOT! The bathrooms were clean and smelled clean too! Came here late at night Because I had to use their restroom. Shockingly the bathroom was sparkling clean! However the rest of the store was chaotic. Customer service was awful. They got those fancy touch screen menus to order your food because face to face conversation is too hard to do in the 21st century. Drive thru was wrapped around the place basically. I waited for a long time as i ordered my food and then waited for them to open the pay or cash register window. Then someone waved for me to drive to pick up window as there was a car already there. Does anyone no why at 10 o'clock at night the lights are all shut off and from a distance the place looks closed when you go past the drive-through stalls are lit up displaying the menu if you were looking from the tollway or several blocks down the whole parking lot and the arches are totally dark and it's been like this for over a week. Are we trying to appear that we're not open but if somebody pursues it and tries to go there anyway they're stuck taking an order because they are open but they don't wanna display customers from a distance that they're actually open and they actually have to do work. I have been going to this Mcdonalds ever since I was young. Growing up I'd always go with my best friend. We'd always get the same meal. I would get a Quarter Pounder With Cheese, a McChicken with extra mayo, and finally a Cinnamon Bun. But you guy's decided to stop selling them so you get - a star. But I would like to start about the burger. It was so fresh and hot, the bottom of the box burnt my hands. The first bite was so juicy and cheesy and delicious, the grease dripping down my chin. I swear I was almost as wet as the burger after that bite. I absolutely devoured what was easily the best qpc i have ever had. After every Quarter Pounder with cheese, I would continue my feast with the fresh McChicken with the juicy, creamy mayo. Each burger I get, I get the crunch of the chicken patty, and the burst of mayo accompanying the fresh clean lettuce. I love every time I take a bite out of their McChickens, the creamy mayo drips my chin like the cheese from the qpc. It's so refreshing after the hot, moist Quarter Pounder with Cheese. At the end of my meal, I creamed at the sight the hot, fresh, Cinnamon Buns. The way the frosting would fill my mouth, it really complete my meal. Leaving me a fat and Happy girl. This review would've been 5 stars but they discontinued the cinnamon buns. I don't know what the situation is but I would order a cinnamon bun every time I went to a Mcdonalds, but this mcdonald's made me cry a lil because of how beautiful a cinnamon could be and how much better it tasted. read more

Worst McDonald's in our area. I go out of my way to avoid this place. The drive thru is awful. Recently, I had to stop there, and a drive thru employee at the first window spent the entire time talking to another employee (they were gossiping-- she never even told me my total) then I pulled forward only to be handed the wrong order! She had charged me for the wrong order and I had to wait for them to refund my credit card and process the correct order. This isn't the first time I've received the wrong order, but it is the first time I was even charged for the wrong order! I have also seen drive thru employees on their phone (clearly on a personal call, unless McD's is now providing sequined cell phones to their employees), and when I wasn't being ignored, the staff was rude. The only pleasant person I have ever interacted with in the store was a manager (sturdy African American man), who was very nice. I felt sorry for him though, being left in charge of such an inefficient crew! Do yourself a favor, and if you need nearby fast food, head to the Wendy's that's just across the street and down a little ways, they are fast, friendly and accurate with orders. read more

Worst ever!!! Took 20 min for drive through and we were the 3rd car. We had a simple order , 6 piece nugget happy meal a hot fudge sundae. Fries were white as they wee under cooked and nuggets were cold and stale. My hot fudge sundae was melting and they hot fudge all over the outside of the container . I come here all the time. Normally I just let it go cause it's nothing but young people working but today I've had enough. The customer service here sucks. I didn't get my daughters happy meal so I went inside. I was standing at the counter as the manager and everybody else just looked at me and kept moving. No acknowledgment or anything. I had to tell at them to get their attention and the manger had the nerve to tell me to use the self service station before I could even tell her what my issue was. Been to numerous Mickey Dee's around the world and this one takes the crown for worst service/experience ever. Various places in Europe & countries east of Turkey typically don't provide good service which is part of the culture and perhaps this location should relocate out there? The moron at the first counter made three debits on my paypal mastercard but only credited it back once. Had to request the fisher bag of crushed peanuts that was supposed to be included with the ice cream sundaes. When I called the even more idiotic manager explained, "Sorry for the extra charges. It's a system thing, sometimes you have to wait a few days till everything clears." Three days later I mail a claim to paypal to give me back the $5.79. All over three vanilla sundaes and once iced coffee. Not happy. Filled out a survey only to be lured at the end to come back for a free egg McMuffin. No thanks. The last question asked if I a manager should contact me and to this date no reply. Why bother asking it on the survey? Very corporate. Gotta love it! I'm not quite sure why Bolingbrook is really in need of three McDonald's restaurants, but since this one is right off the 355 Boughton Road exit, I'm sure it picks up a bit of the highway traffic. This is the newest addition to the McOvertake of the Bolingbrook area. Not for me to complain, since a new business is always a welcome idea. Actually, this place is kind of nice. It has only been open for about six months now, and is clean , well kept, and rather comfortable. Unlike the other two locations, it's not a total dump, and the employees actually give a care. I believe they are trying to go for a semi-modern look in here, but I think it's rather got kind of an 80's vibe going on. I keep on waiting for the cast of 'Saved by the Bell" to walk in at any moment for some after-school burgers. Food is standard McFood, but like I said, the service is by far better here than at any of the other locations. I'm married to a McJunkie, so I'm here a little more often than I'd like to admit. read more

Some fast-food places seem to attract rude employees like magnets (I have lifetime bans on KFC and Burger King due to repeated bad experiences), but I've always felt that McDonald's was a cut above the rest... until yesterday. So I go in and order 8 vanilla cones, and as the gal was making them and putting then into the carry out tray, another gal (from the drive-up window) comes by and takes a cone right out of the tray. "What are you doing?," exclaims Gal #1. "Just make another one," Gal #2 retorts. While I expect things like this happen all the time in closed kitchen's, I've never seen anyone act as rude right in front of customers. And that gal seemed oblivious to her rudeness (though the one who made my cones apologized as she handed me the trays). Horrible service. Went through drive through and the food order was incomplete upon arriving at my home. Without me having to go back to the restaurant, the manager would not credit me the plain cheeseburger I ordered. I should not have to be further inconvenienced having to go back if I can provide proof of purchase receipt. Unacceptable and the manager's attitude and lack of customer service is even worse. Not even an "I'm sorry for the mistake and inconvenience" came out of her mouth. This situation happened on 3/6/21 at 6:40 pm.
