I'm not a big McDonalds fan but every so often need a Big Mac! I stopped in here and my meal was perfect, enjoyed it. I got lucky because as I sat eating my meal I observed chaos for other customers. Very disorganized and you could see the frustration. Staff did mentioned they were short staffed and I hear that. Several folks walked out. Folks were forced to order on the kisoh and one was broke. Mid day stop for some food. Bathrooms were clean. No line I used the kiosk placed my order The WiFi was working so no issues to report there. My food came out quickly and to my table. The associate brought everything I needed. Sauces straws napkins. Great experience on my end. read more

We have never seen such poor customer service from a McDonalds... and we've been to many throughout the Southeast! The manager was throwing bags of food at customers, charging people for cups of water and extra cups (granted it's not Starbucks, but with her attitude it was like really... did someone pee in your Wheaties today??), and acting like asking for ketchup was a complete inconvenience. This is not even mentioning the door slamming one of the employees was doing each time he has to deliver food to a car!!! Customer service is absent here. I definitely do NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

While the french fries, in my opinion, are as good as you will find at any fast food place, the service is deplorable. I know the employees are not exactly living out their life long dream and are working their little hearts out for minimum wage, but come on now. I ordered off of the Healthy Options (or whatever the term) and got the Grilled Chicken Snack Wrap, it was just OK, the chicken seemed very processed and rubberized. But if you are absolutely desperate and trying to watch your calories, the new options will provide a decent alternative to burgers and fries when you have to grab a quick meal on the go. read more

Had an excessive wait time 15 minutes because they did not have the 20 piece nugget readily available. The double quarter came out warm and was delicious but my fries were cold. Trash. Dont come here. Horrible people and workers. Ive worked here and the workers do not prioritize your needs as they should. They treat eachother and customers equally as bad. I quit, it felt horrible to work there and the manager was not understanding or flexible. The manager overworks their teens 8+ hours daily, allows excessive overtime, and you have to practically beg to get a lunch break if its too busy, which all is not allowed. I got in trouble for taking orders at the register too quickly bc she couldnt keep up. The manager makes her workers write good reviews and surveys twice a week, that explains any good reviews. Even if the manager tries to sue me for defamation, i worked here and have multiple whitnesses, also dont work here if that wasnt clear lmao. So for all these reasons i urge you, dont support this business, and maybe coperate will finally start to fix all these issues. :D read more

I went to McDonald's at 14 discovery dr in bluffton sc about 9:40 this morning. Guy in front put his order. Went to the line. I waited by the register to put in my order. Stood there for almost 20 minutes I know the lady was the only one working the front I get it. But she just kept walking by me. Then went to the coffee pot I was standing right in front of her she saw me. After she was done with the coffee pot. She turned around and walked away from me again. So I held out politely can I get my order in please . At this point I was standing there almost 20 minutes she turned around with hate in her eyes and yelled I'm the only one working the front your going to have to wait . I told her I understand your to busy. I'll come back another time.. and I walked out the door.. the customer is always first! And I don't like getting treated like this! I'm never setting foot in this store again ! We gave them lots of business over the years ! Just about every day of the week or at least 4 times a week.. Place is terrible. Poorly prepared unappetizing food is thrown together by uncaring staff and most items cost more than all other McDonalds. To make the review fair we visited several different times and days and found it always dirty and all staff including a person who is obviously the manager/owner very inept. Service is very poor with staff mumbling to customers because they don't care or possess limited communication skills. It's like a conspiracy or joke to make it so bad to see if customers will keep coming in. Other local Bluffton/Hilton Head McDonalds are just as bad. Of course they don't care because most of their business comes from hungry travelers passing by but I would suggest going anywhere but a low country McDonalds. read more

You're extremely slow. At any given time, you can come into the smallest thing like a soda or shake, to find frustrated people waiting in line. The worst customer service. I waited 26 min in drive threw for an Ice coffee. They asked us to pull forward and never returned I had to call the inside of store. Believe they forgot us. The person that finally brought out our coffee didn't even acknowledge us just handed us the coffee and walked away. I was very polite when I called inside of store. DISGUSTING SERVICE. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and an iced coffee. Fairly simple order, no alterations. They gave me my breakfast sandwich and I sat at the window for 20 MINUTES before anyone came back over (holding up a line, might I add). She asked why I was still sitting there and I explained that I hadn't received my coffee yet. Then she proceeds to tell me that they cleaned the coffee machine and aren't selling any right now. Me and my grandfather went here for a scoop of ice cream and wifi, we went here earlier and loved the buy one get one free Quarter Ponder, and it was awesome! Genious! Great also having senior discounts. It is though obious they need staff, but the staff they have was patient, kind, and when we ordered 2 sweet tea instead of 1 sweet and 1 soda they let us just use the sweet tea as a soda! They do seem to have a fly problem, which was annoying, but they didn'y come too close. Awesome! read more
