Very great! This place is awsome but can't enter the building, it has AMAZING food: Burgers fries and milkshake because it is technically food.

& why is this cup still dirty after the second round ‍
    Quatavia L.

Came here for a quick breakfast with the family, poor customer service, dirty cups, when we wanted fresh juices the manager came with them nonchalantly, asked for jelly, he handed us 4 after they referenced to us as the big order . Never again , 10/10 highly don't recommend.

Half empty large fry and a piss poor daily double

They offer about half a dozen different varieties of Rishi Tea, and I chose Earl Grey, because I love that bergamot flavor. But I've had Chamomile Medley before, and it is also great and very comforting. I thought I would just leave with a tea, but then I saw that they offer soup. Only one soup -- the soup of the day, which changes and happened to be parmesan kale on the day that I visited. Sold! What's more comforting than hot tea and a warm bowl of soup? The soup was creamy and had bits of kale and chicken in it. Almost like a chicken velvet soup (my favorite), but more earthy from the greens. The soup came with croutons, if you wished to add a little crunch to the creaminess. The people behind the counter were super friendly and efficient. They have to be, because Cabin Coffee also has a drive-thru, so they're helping customers from every angle. The inside of the cafe really does look like a cabin. There's also a little nook for kids with a mini table and chairs. There's also a semi-private meeting room, which I saw was reserved for a Bible study group. The place was hoppin' when I visited, which was nice to see. Cabin Coffee seems to be an important spot in the community.

The service was great, you order at the counter and they bring it out to you. There were a lot of staff working which made things run smoothly. There is also a drive thru. We got the mocha coffee which was yummy, just the right amount of sweetness and we split a warmed chocolate muffin which was so good, again the right amount of sweetness for me. Arrived and noted that there were not many donuts in the display, but we were told they would make them for you. Okay, great. No worries. We ordered two donuts, the breakfast tacos, and a breakfast sandwich. We got milk and a regular coffee. The breakfast items came out fairly quickly, but no donuts or coffee. Kind of waited for a little and then finally had to ask, nothing was being made. Able to get my coffee and the donuts finally arrived. They were not the normal quality at all. I am not sure what they are doing. PROS: A donut place between Avon and Danville, so great for the community Parking is not an issue, but not many ways in the lot CONS: Place was not clean, tables were dirty Process to order and get items was in disarray. (they were training a new employee on the register, no issues with that at all, she was doing what she could and was being trained, they were doing a great job with that. She was not made to hurry and was learning, so all good) Items received were not the quality expected as they are making the as you order, rather than having items available so poorly made. Meaning, when they finally realized we had no donuts, they asked what we ordered and made them. The donut with chocolate icing with sprinkles was just chocolate thrown on it, melting everywhere and it was not appetizing at all. I hate to leave a bad review or a low review, but we are not planning on coming back to this facility. I will definitely try the other options.

The service was absolutely impeccable: attentive without hovering, warm without pretense, and delivered with the sort of genuine hospitality that makes you feel less like a customer and more like an honored guest at an impossibly chic gathering. And then came the drinks. The pistachio latte was a masterpiece of balance and indulgence -- velvety, nutty, and luxuriously smooth, as though a pistachio grove had somehow been distilled into liquid silk. Each sip unfolded like a sonnet. The wildflower latte, meanwhile, was pure poetry in a cup. Delicately floral without being overpowering, it carried an almost ethereal sweetness, like spring itself had been persuaded to dissolve into espresso. It was whimsical, elegant, and astonishingly memorable. The Green Room Cafe has achieved what so many coffee shops aspire to but few truly accomplish: creating not just beverages, but an experience -- one steeped in artistry, comfort, and just the right amount of enchantment. A triumph. Five stars scarcely feels sufficient. Oh, and parking was mindlessly easy, the owner was present, the bathrooms impeccable, nursing mother's room near restrooms and high ceilings to dissipate the hum.

I love finding a coffee shop that has their own house made syrups. I tried the monthly special, Wildflower latte with an added espresso shot and sadly it just tasted like flavored milk. I want to be able to taste the espresso and decided to pivot to a cocktail instead. Their cocktails were well made and the presentation was perfect. While there isn't a large selection of liquors, they have the staples to make most go-to cocktails in addition to their monthly specials (both cocktail and mocktail options). The food is what really stands out and would bring me back. You are able to choose a salad, flatbread or sandwich and their creations are unique and delicious. I had the pesto, peas and goat cheese on flatbread and was pleasantly surprised to find I could order the flatbread as a half order for $9 instead of committing to a whole order. I will be back but the coffee still needs some work before it would be enticing enough to became my go to location. Overall, it's a fun spot with options for everyone and a great addition to the Plainfield area.

Today, I spent some time clearing out my father's home and helping my nephew, who'd been staying with him prior to his death, settled in a new residential situation. As I was driving through Danville on the way home, I stopped at the town square and decided to have a late lunch in the area. To be honest, I headed first to Square Burger. However, as a wheelchair user I was dismayed to see a step into their establishment. No go. I wasn't in the mood for Mayberry Cafe despite my love for the place. I looked over and realized this was a great chance to check out The Beehive. The Beehive is just off the square and shares a building with Two Guys Pies. The US 36 entrance is not wheelchair friendly, however, the back entrance has a nice concrete ramp (I did find the sidewalk a bit narrow - I noticed as I entered here that had I desired to visit Two Guys Pies there was a bicycle on the sidewalk that would have easily blocked my access). This is an attractive building. The Beehive has been here a little over 10 years. I'm not sure I'll describe The Beehive accurately - it's sort of a coffeehouse meets breakfast/lunch joint where you can also get fresh, local honey and other frozen goods to take out. They do catering and offer deli sandwiches, beer/wine carryout, a build your own salad menu, local meat and produce, and the aforementioned frozen goods. They also have a small retail area where you can buy honey, t-shirts, and other items. A good amount of their sweets utilize honey instead of sugar. I parked on the square in one of their accessible spots (parking is free, up to 5 hours for accessible parking but only two hours for others). I wheeled around the building - someone was planting plants/flowers and was super friendly and stopped his work to make sure I could get through). They close at 4pm on Saturdays - I arrived about 3ish. I ordered one of their combos that included a 1/2 sandwich, chips, and a drink. They do have unsweetened iced tea, fountain drinks, and a variety of canned/bottled drinks (including Choc-ola!). They also have a ton of coffee/latte type options. I found the prices to be reasonable. This is especially true given these are healthier options (though certainly not everything here qualifies as "healthy."). The employees were friendly. They were quiet, however, service was quite good. I loved the atmosphere. I had zero issues finding a wheelchair friendly table. I could independently reach everything I needed, though I'm sure they'd have assisted if needed. This wasn't a mind-blowing experience. It was simply a really good lunch in a pleasing atmosphere at a fair price. After an emotional experience like clearing out my family home (which isn't yet done), this was a great way to relax and calm the emotions. I enjoyed the sandwich, which is toasted, and they had Miss Vickie's potato chips. I'm not sure why it took me so long to stop here, however, I'd easily return for the simple yet wonderful menu, great drinks, warm atmosphere, and friendly employees.

I must admit that despite my reporting on the apparent donut wars in Avon Indiana, with no less…read morethan five different donut shops in the growing town, I'd completely forgotten about the presence of Rise n' Roll Bakery until I happened to be on my way out to Putnam County and happened to look over and see the shop in a relatively small strip center. Rise n' Roll was founded in Middlebury, Indiana by an Amish family as an offshoot of the family's selling of donuts from the porch of their Shipshewana home. Established a Rise n' Roll in 2004, it stayed relatively small for years. The original bakery didn't use electricity, refrigeration, or modern tech. Everything was by hand. In 2009, the Amish owner sold the company to a non-Amish family. It was moved to a larger facility - the original owner stayed employed by the company and the small bakery began to expand including franchising. In recent years, the Central Indiana presence has grown. Rise n' Roll offers donuts, pastries, Amish goods, deli, and other items. While I was sad to see Rise n' Roll leave their Broad Ripple spot, truthfully I tend to resonate more with its simpler locations (there's now a smaller shop in Nora). This spot in Avon reminds me of Nora. I believe the Indiana-based chain has 16 locations statewide. I'm a definite fan of the chain and have never had a bad experience at any location in terms of product or people. I primarily stick to donuts when coming here, however, I'll occasionally deviate. While I'd say that Rise n' Roll is decked out a bit nicer than Carl's, I felt a similar vibe here. In a town that has multiple options, it's really important to distinguish yourself and Rise n' Roll does that nicely. The cinnamon caramel donut is perhaps its most widely known and beloved option, however, I'm a fan of chocolate frosted (yeast or cake). Donut offerings can vary between locations. Employees here are friendly. The strip center has accessible parking with appropriate curb cuts. The single glass door was pretty manageable. I get the sense they'd easily help if help was needed, though it's obvious that most folks with disabilities prefer independence. Overall, I'd easily claim Rise n' Roll as one of my Avon favorites. I won't dare rank the five, though a quick read of my reviews would likely make it obvious. For a more natural option in a pleasing, welcoming setting it doesn't get much better than Rise n' Roll.
