This is THE WORST location I have ever been to. My family and I have passed through Atmore on several occasions for travel and will never step foot in this McDonald's again. Service is awful, bathrooms in desperate need of attention no matter the time of day (no soap, trash overflowing, no toilet paper, water not working) and I don't know how you overcook nuggets and undercook fries and serve warm iced coffee WITH AN ATTITUDE, but this place found a way... no stars would be more accurate! I ordered a large iced coffee Black with no cream and no sugar. Drive thru cashier told me to park at Reserved Parking space 1 to wait. Waited for more than 10 mins thinking they must be brewing a new pot. I went in after 10 mins or more found out no one knows what I'm talking about. This probably is the worst restaurant I have ever been. Because... they haven't stood up to there advertisement by saying they have "fresh" meat but clearly they don't. Very shocked when I come here and get my food in a timely manner. Restrooms are usually dirty, and the service is usually slow. Maybe I have the worst timing..? The service is always extremely slow no matter how many cars are in the drive thru. I'm always prepared to sit at least 10 minutes in the drive thru anytime I visit. There have been maybe two smiling faces I've seen working there. Most of the workers shove your food to you and fail to even say have a nice day. We are limited on food options if we want something quick in this small town, so I can't say I'll never return. But it is somewhere I will only visit once or twice every 3 months. read more

Service was extremely slow. Took 10 minutes just to be waited on and 30 minutes waiting for the food. One meal was stone cold and we were so frustrated we didn't bother to go stand in line again to complain. Won't ever be back. read more

Stopped off the highway for a quick bite to eat. They ran out of straws at 2pm. I walked to the Waffle House across the street to grab straws... I had ordered a cheeseburger and I am paranoid so I always open it up to see what's inside. It looked as if a bite was taken out of it... (wish I would have taken a picture before returning it). I asked to get another and the employee just looked at me. They did remake the cheeseburger. They proceeded to give us ice cream for messing up the order. They didn't even give us spoons for the ice cream that they put in cups, we had to ask. We had been waiting for about 15 minutes at this point for two iced coffees and a staff member informed me they were "understaffed." I've never been so confused in a McDonald's before... horrible! Ordered two plain fish sandwiches. It took three times for them to get it right. First time, they gave us cheese on one and horseradish on the other. The second time, both of them had cheese on them. This was inside, not the drive through. Seven drink spigots had out of order signs on them. Milkshake machine was broken. Floor was a mess. Must have been a gallon of soda spoiled on the floor by one table. The mop and mop bucket was sitting by the drink machine and the water in the bucket was filthy. None of the tables had been cleaned off, we had to clean our own before we sat down. The bathroom sink was filthy. Toilet paper was strewn around all over the bathroom floor. Wish I could give 0! I can understand being busy and things get crazy and slow but the services are horrible! First the too our order wrong andwr even asked to have it correct before we paid but they did not. Then the girl giving use our food was on her phone while we wait cause she forgot our second order and when we asked about it she gave us a one moment still on her phone. We stood up front for quite some time before anyone waited on us. It was dirty & the bathroom water would not work. The drink machine was out of CO2 & none of the employees would replace it. My husband's food got cold from waiting for them to fix it & we still got drinks that tasted terrible! The staff did not appear to care. read more

This place was completely awful, my fries had black spots on them where the oil had not been cleaned, trash bags in the back, overflowing by the drinks, no lids, no straws and not to mention they took my burger back 3 times and the second time the lady asked if she could just add another peice of meat! I really wish I could post a picture of what the turnout of the last burger was! I thought I'd just stop by the bathroom on the way out and 1 of 2 bathrooms worked and it was flooded with water! We travel by car on a regular basis and usually stop at McDonald's for breakfast, coffee, etc. because the service is decent and the food is predictable. We stopped at the Atmore McDonald's last week for breakfast and it was the WORST McDonald's we've ever been in. The service was terrible - there were at least 2 people working, but no one would take our order, which was wrong anyway. The table was very dirty and the staff also appeared dirty and unkempt. We wanted to order a soda on the way out, but knew it would take too long, so we left and went to a nearby gas station. read more
