    Ribeye/chicken fajita
    Javier M.

Wow! I travel plenty for business and I like a good fajita meal every now and then. This ribeye/chicken combo was hands down the best I've ever had. Everything was seasoned extremely well. Enough food to feed (9) people. Will be back.

Armore-Mexican turns out to be a wonderful combo. They have lots of Americanish dishes for those not ready for a burrito. I will definitely try it again.

    Chiles Poblanos??
    Lou G.

This had to be one of the strangest stops on a road trip, which means it surpassed the bonnet of Bonnie, of Bonnie and Clyde fame, and the worlds largest peanut. Described as a Mexican restaurant but with a country lunch buffet, this was just plain confusing. Half the restaurant seemed to reflect the country cooking, the other half looked like a traditional Mexican restaurant. I ordered Chiles Poblanos, which are usually filled with cheese and battered. These were filled but instead of battered they were served with what would best be described as an omelet on top. My daughter asked if they were good, and to be honest, they were. I love Poblanos and I like eggs, so it was like a perfect brunch dish, just not even close to the traditional dish. My mini Yelpers ordered traditional Mexican fare, all good. Service was A-ok. Next stop, mummified dog in a tree stump.

    El Pastor authentic taco dish.

Good salsa! They serve your food on cold plates. We saw no Mexicans so I guess that would be the reason the food is cold

Excellent place. They used to be in Brewton but they moved to Atmore. We still drive there to eat.

Service was friendly and fast. Food was very bland. No spices anywhere. Got the Acapulco bowl and the meat was tender but had no flavor.

Waitress was attentive but not too happy with the food. It was ok had better Mexican in Pensacola…read more and the cheese dip is still like runny and watered down like. The chips are scary to eat they look really dark like almost burnt. Need to find a better place for Mexican.

Came into the establishment and was seated like you typically would at any restaurant, everything…read morewas going alright (considering the cheese dip was watery, the sweet tea had little to no tea to it, &' salsa was not the typical salsa you get at a Mexican restaurant &' the chips were burnt like they reuse them from previous tables and just reheat them) but we let all that slide because Mexican restaurants are hit or miss with that all the time. Then my nephew (4 years old might I add) got his cheese quesadilla and it had "spicy" queso on it (spicy as in for a four year old), so we asked if they could remake it with just shredded cheese, they agreed, no issue there. So they remade it but with shredded chicken (kitchen mistake) , went back and had to remake it again and still put "queso" on it after we said we just wanted shredded cheese (you know American cheese &' Colby Jack , NON SPICY CHEESES). Anyway, so we tried to make do with it but my nephew said it was still too spicy. So we asked them if they could just take it off the bill, they agreed but once paid the bill they still left the quesadilla on there. We informed them &' she said yeah we took the one off that was a mistake (honey they were all a mistake). She got the manager for us (looked like she had one too many drinks before she came out (drinks or drugs but, that's besides the point) so she comes to the table and we explain everything to her exactly how it happened and she says well you did get a quesadilla , (we did , wrong every time) she proceeds to act like we are lying and grabs a fork &' peels back the quesadilla and says, "there is no queso on this" &' we said yes there is and it was still the same plate used from prior and the queso was still all over that. She acted very immature for a manager &' didn't want to fix the issue. She kept making excuses as well as the servers seemed brain washed by the nonsense and wanted to side with them like we should want queso on our KIDS quesadilla and acted like we were crazy! Also, the server acted like it was okay that she had to pay out of her own pocket for a mistake made by the kitchen. I guess it's normal for them to have to pay out of pocket ... COULDN'T BE ME ! WE even offered to pay the server after finding out she was going to have to pay for the extra quesadilla mistakes but she refused saying this is normal protocol. &' none of this is about money to us , it's the principle of the situation. Will never be back and we have reported to the BBB. Management needs proper training. Get better! Only reason this place gets business is because it's in the middle of nowhere... only smart things they did.

Enough heat to satisfy the heat lovers but not so much the mild lovers can't handle it. The margaritas are huge and so, SO, pretty. My house lime, rocks, salt was only $5.99 during happy hour and tasted like absolute perfection. Not too strong, not too sweet. I don't know what they do here but it's not the cheapest tequila mixed with the syrupy neon mix. My carnitas were some of the best I've ever had. My hubby's steak bowl was beautiful and tasty. I could eat here every single day and not get sick of it. LOVE the cilantro rice. Everything had flavor!

We couldn't even finish it all. We didn't even over eat chips and salsa since the food came out so freaking fast. It's not Jimmy John's but they have them beat. Literally ordered and our waiter was gone two minutes and the food was delivered. Cute atmosphere too! Definitely will be back when we are in the area! Only thing we would have preferred is if the fried cheesecake was actually fried. It was full on frozen and had to be cut with a knife. But hubby loved it anyway.
