Decor inside was nice. Food was okay. The staff was kind. Service was very slow, but we had a table of 18 so it was understandable. The horchata was very watered down (didn't even have ice inside), probably the worst I've ever had. I also ordered a bean, cheese, and rice burrito. Presentation was horrible; there was NO cheese inside even though I requested it, and just a tiny on top. I had not been to this restaurant since it changed hands a couple of years ago. When I tried them at least 15 years ago it was a terrible restaurant. Grim interior and uniformly bad food. i didn't know it had been it has recently been taken over by a great group of people who know how to fix good Mexican food! A friend of mine loves this place, so we went for lunch today. What a transformation! Fun interior full of vibrant scenes. Gracious welcome and VERY good food. My fish tacos were so huge, I took two home for a repeat at dinner. BIG portions of fresh perfectly cooked fish. My friend's combo dish was also delicious, as he expected. I'll be back! read more

Highly recommend the chicken and rice fajita style. You won't be disappointed. Service is good. Someone's you have to wait a few minutes to be seated but overall it's good. Good atmosphere I love the new tables and chairs and how they're decorated. read more

Really nothing special. The salsa was thin and watery. The guacamole was flavorless. The taco was blah. And the fajitas were decent. The service was lacking. The forgot our fried ice cream and mentioned they forgot it when they brought the check but never did anything about it. Won't be back. What a good Mexican restaurant! Beautifully carved furniture and lively music. Our waitress was such a sweet woman. My husband and I were tasting the bottled hot sauces on our chips. Our waitress noticed and brought some really delicious, house hot sauce from the kitchen!! Delicious beef and bean burrito! The red sauce had a deep, rich flavor! My husband ordered the tasty tamales and a great ground beef taco. We loved our meals so much we ordered extra to bring home for dinner! We will be back for sure! read more

THE WORST!! DISGUSTING, SHAMEFUL AND PATHETIC. The stale microwaved, badly concocted food is foul to anyone who has ever enjoyed real Mexican food... or decent food for that matter. The margaritas are over priced, watered down, nasty excuses to charge for some version of alcohol. The cheese enchiladas are tiny, leathery, greasy microwaved shame on a plate. The desserts that require honey, lmao, are served with HONEY FLAVORED SYRUP! You can't afford honey, as a restaurant? This is the shame syrup on the shame meal. Sent EVERYTHING back and was charged $22 for nothing. Do yourself a favor, craving Mexican food???... get a TV dinner. i just had a problem with some of the servers and how i was treated rude i just wrote this so it does not happen to other customers.

The service was terrible.. we have been hnumerous times, but tonight it was jUst terrible. No one came tk take a drink I order. I had to flag down the host that seated us after waiting 15 minutes. Now it has been 45 minutes since wee received our drinks. My husbands tea has been empty for 30 minutes. This is not acceptable. We have not received our meal and nobody has came to check on us for over 45 minutes now.. I don't think we will be back. Definitely lost some regular customers today. I guess we will be checking out the other Mexican restaurant in town. Didn't even want to give this place 1 star, horrible just horrible.. I guess they really don't want customers. I'm very surprised at the lack of reviews, this is actually a fairly popular restaurant down here. My family and I have eaten here several times and it is pretty good. The absolute best thing is the cheese dip (They bring you salsa with your chips, ALWAYS ask for the cheese!! they charge you for it, but it's WORTH IT) read more

I can not believe this place is still in business! I was invited to eat at Jalisco's with my wife and after eating at other better Mexican restaurants in the Pensacola area I was appalled! The place looked dirty, the decor, tables, chairs were seriously dated and dirty looking. The food was sub par. My wife ordered a chile relleno, she was served something that looked like dog food on rice, after examing the plate I realize it is a chopped bell pepper. I spoke to the waiter about this who began to argue with me that what she was served as chile relleno! I explained to him that chile relleno was a poblano pepper stuffed with cheese and pan or deep fried... Not a chopped bell pepper in a meat sauce served over rice. I knew then this place was doomed, we barely finished our food and walked out. First and last time I will ever eat there again. read more
