This is my son's favorite McDonald's (besides the one that used to be down the street from us that unfortunately burnt down a little while back). My mom actually started the tradition of bringing him here every single day after school lol--so now, anytime we're in the neighborhood, we have to stop by. It's automatic. He gets his French fries and strawberry banana smoothie every time. The staff knows us and always makes us feel so welcome, which I really appreciate. The store is always clean, too--like, always. It's just a solid location overall. So while we were there the other day, I decided to try the new limited edition S'mores McFlurry and let me just say... I LOVEEE a good s'mores moment, and this McFlurry did not disappoint. The graham cracker bits, the little marshmallows, the chocolate chunks--all of it just worked. This is bad even for McDonald's. The only thing worth mentioning is they are Open 24 hours in case you can't find a Waffle House. They have consistently gone downhill in the last year. The food isn't cooked or prepared properly. For the price difference and Food Quality, SHAKE SHACK 3 blocks away on same side of street is a better value. Maybe $4 or $5 more for a burger you can actually eat? read more

The employees literally forgot half my mobile order. Went back to get the rest of my order. When I told one of them my problem they went and told another person. The second person literally sat there in front of me laughing about my order. Waited another 20 minutes to get it and I had to keep asking 5 different times to get help. I've come here only on Sunday mornings for an early breakfast, and it's only for a McGriddle and a hash brown. This McDonald's location has been renovated, and it is nice, spacious and modern looking. And just about always clean and well maintained. Customers can either go to the counter and order (this way is quicker), or they can self-order at any of the four kiosks. This method is a little slower, since there are many screens that customers have to view to complete their orders. If the customer decides to eat inside the restaurant, they are given (or take if they self-order) a big piece of plastic that has a number on it to place on their table so the employees know where to deliver the order. Yes! You get table service here! I've never seen the employees at this location take the lazy way out by just calling out your number and expecting you to come to the counter to pick up your order. Whichever way the customers order inside the store, the employees have always brought out the food quickly (5 minutes or quicker). The employees have always brought out the food with a greeting and a smile, and the food has always been hot. The food is still typical McDonald's, but it's the added details that employees can personally add that result in positive dining experiences. This location has a its own unshared free parking lot with more spaces than they need. There are some electrical outlets and USB jacks available inside for your recharging needs, and there is even a charging station for those who want to charge their car. The only thing that I can suggest as an improvement is for whomever is wiping off the tables in the dining areas to not put so much water on their rag when cleaning the tables. I wish I could give them a 5 star because of this one young lady! She doesn't deserve to work here. Unfortunately the rest of her crew is back there running around doing nothing. I wanted to be sure to review this McDonald's location as I have been to this location on multiple occasions and have always had a pleasurable experience. From the customer service to my food always being hot, I am grateful for the hospitality at this location. I typically go in the mornings and never much after 3pm, the only complaint that I have about this location is the presence of homeless people as well as people with mental illnesses. I find that this is a problem in some areas throughout Atlanta and it's not much the employees can do without security. I think this is more of a city of Atlanta issue more then the restaurant. I sometimes order ahead on the app and my food is always available and hot and they also take care of any mistakes and well as mix ups. When it's busy, typically around lunch, they are pretty responsive and work to get rid of long lines and get orders out. Truly makes all the difference in a quick fast food experience. read more

I used a coupon for a free large fry and drink with any purchase, but the system glitched and added two drinks instead. The receipt indicated a free drink and large fry, so I asked the employee for the fry I paid for, but she responded aggressively. Other employees advised her to give me the fries as per the receipt, but she refused and even threatened to call the police. After a 15-minute wait in the drive-through, another employee handed me my food, including the fries, from a side door. When I left the restaurant, an officer arrived, and after explaining the situation, he understood that the employees were at fault. The staff is rude and for lack of a better word "Ghetto". I'm a bit surprised I haven't reviewed this McD's yet, since it's been the closest to me for going on two years now - then again, I don't review all that many chains nor eat here often. This one, I mostly go through the drive thru if I ran out of Diet Coke and need one en route somewhere, or cave in to a $1 double cheeseburger craving . . . So it was unusual today that J and I had breakfast there - he was at the office before a work trip and we only had a short time. I am trying to be "good" - IITTI or not, and with not feeling well this week, nothing really sounded good - but he muchly enjoyed his sausage and egg white biscuit (note- you can sub egg whites and/or cheddar into any breakfast combos now, which I didn't know). But I am really reviewing this location because it's been totally remodeled! It is so nice inside - there's a separate "dining area" labeled "Internet cafe" - there's a whole display case with Altanta memorabilia set up - it's actually . . . kinda pretty! Go figure. By Far one of the Worst McDonald's Spots in the city. It was FAR BETTER before the Remodel/Facelift. The Hours are inconsistent (Never open 24 hours. Closed for power outage, closed for no reason.
