I remember going to the Decatur location several years ago and enjoyed it. Last month, I had a decent experience here at this one! They seem to be very popular, with lines even in the middle of a work day, which is great! We beat the little rush though, which was perfect unplanned timing on our part. I have been trying to switch to decaf options lately and decided to go with a tea. I'm sure their assortment of caffeinated coffees are delightful though. My coworkers seemed to enjoy theirs. The associate behind the counter was very helpful and kind to us! I just unfortunately felt a bit of a (self-imposed) rush and pressure since the options are not on the overhead menu but rather at the side of the register, only seen once you are ordering. The flow of where to order/wait/pick up was a disaster. People were packed in and it was extremely chaotic. The price was high in my opinion, it was over $7 for just the latte. I waited upwards of 10 minutes for my drink which was made wrong. I ordered a spiced latte iced, which was what was written on the cup, and received a hot latte. Coffee was fine and came out quick, and the employees were kind, however, I was disappointed with the food I got. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese bagel, it was $9 which I thought was quite expensive for what it what, but I was in a pinch. Once I ordered, the barista told me to get the sandwich out of the fridge so they can toast it - essentially, this was a Jimmy deans frozen breakfast sandwich that they were charging $9 for. I tried their new ube latte And I thought it was good, but to be honest it just tasted like a regular latte to me with minimal flavor. The shop has a very large menu with all types of coffees and other drinks to try. I wish there was a larger menu though when it comes to food items because they face the basics like bagels and muffins. The establishment itself was very clean and has free WiFi as well. Visiting a friend in Buckhead and was pleased to find a coffee spot that actually opened before work hours. I can't fathom why apparently in Atlanta coffee shops make sense to open later. The coffee here are reliable and a clear favorite by the yoga gear clad women who seem to frequent this spot post workout. I also really enjoyed the bustling energy, filled with tech & finance bros taking stand up calls in line or in deep meetings. I visited this place 4 mornings in a row and for the most part had enjoyable service except for the last morning whereby a server didn't bother to confirm if I wanted a cold or hot latte and gave me an incorrect order. Regardless that was rectified quickly. Skip the pastries: they definitely look tired compared to nearby-ish Le Bon Nosh but coffee here is solid! read more

At Trader Joe's making my weekly grocery run and saw the Dancing Goat so I stopped in for a coffee. The 3 things I love the most are a good brunch, a good wine bar & a good coffee shop. Apparently they have a handful of locations in Atlanta but I've never noticed them before. This particular location is located off of Peachtree Rd in Buckhead in a very busy area in the Buckhead exchange plaza. The plaza has very limited parking with 30 minute limits. They are taking online orders and in person socially distanced orders with everyone wearing masks and gloves. You aren't allowed inside without a mask. The decor was modern and clean but no inside dining option as all the chairs were on top of the tables but you are able to dine outside. There was no ordering of the menu of baked goods as they weren't making anything whatever you saw was what they had. The limited options included sugar donuts and scones none of which I was interested in so I opted for just coffee. I ordered a caramel latte with almond milk. The milk was an extra $1 and the caramel an extra .90. Now I just paid $7.43 for a latte so it better be out of this world right? When I got it the latte was like warm not hot, it had no flavor of caramel it was just blah. The 2 stars was for the friendly staff. read more

Thankfully, Dancing Goats has finally opened up a new location in Buckhead within a mile of my office. I've been here several times now in search of post-lunch caffeine and overall, have been pleased. Parking isn't plentiful but it's enough. If you can't find a spot in the back, I recommend driving to the back where there is also free parking, although a little tight. I love Dancing Goats in Decatur and I'm happy with this location, although it's always so busy I can almost never find a seat. Thank goodness I'm usually here to order my beverage to go. Oat milk and almond milk are not cheap here - but are options if you don't want regular milk. I also wish there were more savory food options, but I'm usually just here for the coffee. Stopped by for my second cup of caffeine for the day. There's limited, free 30-minute parking. It's shared by multiple businesses in the strip. It was a miracle that my friend and I both found spots. The coffee shop offers plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It was a little chilly that afternoon, so we opted to sit indoors. It's a great place for working and the wifi is free. My friend ordered a chai latte and I a cinnamon honey oat milk latte. We also ordered a sugar donut to share, which was very rich, moist and delicious. I ended up taking it to-go since neither of us could finish the donut. The drinks were solid. The barista behind the counter very friendly and warm. They do charge extra for add ons like the almond milk $1 and total was around $6/$7. They're in the same plaza as Sephora. Parking is very limited especially during busy hours due to them being in a plaza with multiple businesses. The parking spots in the front are 30 minute limit. First and foremost, I just want to say is that this location has so much potential and have people wonders how some of these people went through the hiring process. The salon that I worked at is down the street from this location, so our coworkers always bring us some drinks whenever they're going for a coffee. Yesterday was my first time going for the group and I wish I didn't. I've been loving the drink whenever they bring me a cup but the experience of going yourself to purchase it is horrendous. The parking there is so bad! The lot literally have about 20 parking with so many businesses in that small little areas. I drove around the same lot for 4 times until a family left that I was able to park. When I finally parked, went inside and this is where the fun starts. It was a long line to get to the register and I'm not sure if the guest was being indecisive or the counter person was slow but it took him a while with each individual. When it's finally my turn, I come to realized why it took so long. His knowledge with the tablet was very low and he kept on asking me again and again what I was ordering. After we got through with the register, the wait game was fun as well. The two baristas that was there literally took forever on each drinks and they're spending way more time on talking. I stood there for a good 20mins; mind you, I waited 10mins before ordering.. that's 30mins in total. I was sitting at the bar stool area and noticed the baristas will call out everyone name but when it comes to mine; they just left it there. I came over knowing that it was my drinks since the person ahead of me just got his drinks. I was really sure it was my order too since one of the coworker ordered oat milk. Even if you can't pronounce my name, you can literally spelled it out or something. The only reason why this place still get 2 stars from me is because their drinks are good and I do preferred them over Starbucks and how close it is to my work place. Was super excited when I read reviews and description that this coffee shop had a dog friendly patio. Just moved back to Atlanta and my boyfriend went in to order coffee and the barista denied him although he was holding my 9lb chihuahua in his arms ....during the time the exchange happened he could have certainly taken the order and my boyfriend would have stood in the patio and waited ....as he tried to explain to the barista. I understand rules are rules, however, this establishment needs to be more specific with how "dog friendly" it is. It makes less sense to go and order coffee and leave your dog unattended in a patio with strangers than it would to quickly hold it and pay and then go wait in the patio. The former seems more of a liability with the rest of the guests than it would to just take a coffee order holding said dog. read more
