I understand that with fast food you definitely get what you pay for my daughter is six. We went through here at 8:50 at night. She's not felt good. I paid for my order and they gave me the wrong change. When I called it to their attention they got really mad. She went and got the manager. I explained to the manager what I paid along with the change problem, and she just simply said since you want to complain about your change, we will just give you a refund. I said that's fine. She said here's your money back and then slammed the window as hard as she could and flipped me off, I wasn't trying to be ugly but was several dollars off. I ordered a 10 piece nugget meal and was blessed with six nuggets a and no ketchup when I specifically asked. Also, they gave me mustard on my burger zero out of 10 would not consider returning. #74/2022 Three and a half stars but I'm giving them four This McDonald's located in Ardmore Oklahoma on the outskirts of town near the interstate right across from the Love's truck stop. Has truck parking small lot but it does have it. Or you could just walk at the Love's and hoof it on over. I had not been here in a few years. I usually eat elsewhere when going to Michelin tire plant it got remodeled looks pretty nice inside although staff is a little short. First thing you notice are tables that are kind of dirty and they clean them as quick as can. Service wise they're quite efficient keep everything rolling for the most part you can order it to kiosk or you can order it to counter. The reason I'm giving them the benefit of four stars is it was quite crowded when I was there and they were doing their best to keep things moving the best they could between a full drive-thru people running in and out bringing bags to cars that were parked as quick as they could and a whole lot more so eat for effort four stars. I came over hoping I could secure a McRib before it disappears forever as they say. Heard the rumors that it was gone in many places their stock depleted and that was it. And yes it was a bittersweet moment as our yearly affair now comes to an end. Could it be forever our Good Times that we had once a year for such a short period? I really don't know. So not content to have one I got 2. Knowing we were going to part and possibly never MEAT AGAIN. I enjoyed those last few moments of our saucy affairs like lipstick on a collar I did have a sauce spot on my shirt. Perhaps it won't come out in the wash it will be embedded forever just like the memory of the taste. Probably the grossest McDonald's I've ever been to and that's saying a lot. There were flies ALL OVER THE PLACE and I am not exaggerating when I say I saw atleast 50 flies while in there. The workers claimed to be backed up on orders but they simply were not doing their jobs correctly. I'm giving them 2 stars though because they did give me 3 extra drinks, 6 extra ranches, and an extra fry- which was amazing for me but once again it just goes to show the workers have no idea what's going on. I live close so its convenient and cheap but anytime I've gone through and asked for extra mayo, or extra tarter on the fish fillet, or extra ketchup, it's almost like they then purposely not put any "extra" on it.(more like not a thing) since I had even asked. I constantly have to go back through the drive through or go inside to ask for packets of mayo or ketchup EVERY TIME because they don't put any sauce on there damn burgers nor fish fillets. like can I get a well made burger FOR ONCE. read more

I know this review is expected and I'd hope whoever cares about where this McDonalds is going, contacts me because after what I experienced today, all I have to say is review the cameras. We meet mid point (co parenting ) kid can only eat those burritos due to new braces. The little girl ( Kami, I took her pic if that's a lie) was playing on the intercom. 1. It took me to repeat my order 3 times, after HER laughing that last time, I just pulled forward. 2. FIRST WINDOW: Guy looks at me I look at guy, he says..no order, I said no not while the little girl was playing on the mic, he repeated ( guy with braces) he then took my order. Burrito, water, and medium fry ( free with $1 purchase) he scans my phone, apologizes for the childishness and I pull up. 3.RECEVING WINDOW: Girl (who played on intercom a.k a Kami, just gives me bag and closes window. What is she mad for? Food was fresh so drove to loves. Son, wanted another burrito and needed to use restroom. 4. OverCHARGED: I noticed I still paid for my fries and I sent son in to just get burrito and tell them keep the change. But NOOOOOO, that's a problem too. I come in. Little Kami is still running her mouth and I tell her and the shift manager ( who has no control of her entire staff whatsoever) she was playing on the intercom. I'm also trying to explain to the shift lead, what I needed and she couldnt concentrate because little kami is fussing about some guy names Ricky took my order. It was a girl. I finally told Kami I wasnt arguing with her anymore, and asked that the manager just give me food, she refunds everything, raises her voice not when it was just her and I but when 5 more people came in and now shes trying to act like she rectified something. Meanwhile, little kami says she wants to slap me and calls me a bitch. Right upfront to another chic * check cameras* I take my coat off and go to her and tell her I dare her. I know, all this over an extra burrito. It gets worse. The manager lead ask me to get back on customer side, I do. I then say why are you allowing her to even act this way. Shes completely out of control like a spoiled entitled " this is my kid who needs a job spoiled". Its still taking manager lead forever to assist me cause now the coupon doesnt work and I ha e to explain to her why. She blamed me and said my coupon expired. The same one in the app that everyone gets. No, that's not what happened. She wouldnt take accountability for her or her staff and all this started over the intercom. The lead never gets me ny food, she then tells me to just leave so she can help other people because shes mad. Why are you mad. No one thought to say, sorry for your inconvenience, let me fix this and move on. She decided to argue with me , loudly, then say move. Again check cameras They call the police. We laugh together about not expecting much from a place like this and someone else just brought the business, they left before me after seeing they shouldbt have been called lil Kami and the manager should be fired and taught customer service and so many other things . I'm pissed because 2 minutes of me ignoring their mistake turned into an hour of them not fixing it. Kate and her husband are called. She was real direct, she looks pissed as she should be cause her store has a wait of 10minutes in drive. Where I started and incompetent workers. Everyone literally came up front to see who was about to get beat up in McDonals when lil Kami ran to the back screaming. Even the janitor I think he was. Came up front dirty and acted as if he was calling a manager and started talking to me as well, again. I was calm before I wasnt and alot longer than the staff * see cameras* I saw when I got in my car some customers who saw the end share whatever with the manager, They didnt see the whole thing, but again...check the cameras. We were driving down the road and decided to get lunch at this McDonald's. I have to say at least the one girl working at the counter was very proficient at her job and insured you got your food fast and she was very polite. I have to say this food was the freshest I've ever had at any McDonald's ever. And you know by my reviews I don't give this recommendation out easily. If you're looking for a quality McDonald's food this is the one you want to stop at. The server was from a different McDonald's but she worked her tail off I only wish the other people working here work as hard as her. I would recommend eating at this McDonald's. read more

Shut it down! This is by far the worst mcd in the country. Just pass this one by and avoid the Luke warm French fries and refried chicken sandwiches. This manager needs to be fired. They serve warm food (not hot), no large frappe cups but they charge you for a large and give you a medium. The register lady (she is trying her best) needs to work in the back as the manager had to come up for each customer and assist with the transaction. Time to train is not lunch rush hour. Train cashiers during slow time. The drink station was a disaster, no large lids and just a mess all over the counters. The men's bathroom stunk like urine and was in dire need of a mopping and major cleaning. My wife said her toilet would not even flush. This Mcd needs to be shut down and staff retrained. Send this management staff and owner back to Oak Brook for retraining at HQ. Don't waste your money or time. Seriously we love McDs but this is a joke of a restaurant and staff. Covid conscious customers AVOID THIS MCDONALDS! Assistant manager was not wearing a mask during thr epidemic, (Dec 23rd 2020 visit) and the staff treated my party like garbage. (..Isn't it illegal/against McDonalds policy to have staff not to wearing a mask? ) As many have mentioned, they are also VERY slow. (Much much slower than most McDonald's, which are usually quick!) After my party had been waiting in the lobby for almost 10 minutes, the team kept glaring at me and ignoring me, until the customer behind me finally got so frustrated that they said "Hello?" very loudly. Even then, the staff continued to ignore us. Finally after taking our order, they didn't give us a straw. *NOTE the straw machine was empty. So my friend asked kindly for a straw, and before the assistant manager even looked at the straw machine, she BANGED her hand on it, las if my friend were stupid, before she even LOOKED! It was SO incredibly rude and demeaning. So I told her "My friend was asking because the straw machine was empty, and you just banged it, that was rude." And she just ignored me and walked away. We saw her again as we walked out, and her mask was below her chin. Absolutely unbelievable! Not wearing a mask in times like these can be a lawsuit!!! I've had family die from Covid, so PLEASE McDonalds take this review seriously! I've never been treated like this at a McDonalds before, and especially not by management. Disgusted and disappointed. Stopped here traveling from TX. Ordered to eat in. Drive through was very busy but hardly any dine in customers for 1:00 lunch. Most tables were dirty, bathroom was dirty, and order was slow. Husband had to ask where order was since others were called before us. It apparently was ready but number not called. Food was typical McDonald's cheeseburger with more bread than patty. Let me start by saying I don't usually leave Yelp reviews. And I try to be understandable about when places are busy & possibly understaffed, (especially a fast food restaurant, which I'm sure is not the easiest place to work). That being said, this was potentially the worst experience I've ever had at a McDonald's. My family & I were traveling to Dallas for a family member's birthday, & thought we'd make a quick stop and get some McDonald's for an early lunch on the way. Almost 30 minutes after ordering, we still didn't have our food, and people who had come in quite a bit after us received their order before us, & it was wrong. So we finally gave up & left without ever getting our food, & went to the Braum's across the interstate. (Which was also slow - they only had 4 employees - but was still getting orders out faster & more accurately than the McDonald's, which appeared to have plenty of employees.) We'd built in a cushion on our travel time, but that took so long (especially after then still needing to stop somewhere else to get food) that we wound up running late to meet the rest of our family for a movie. It was an incredibly stressful and frustrating experience. I should add that the employees seemed stressed, confused, and the woman who I presume was the weekend manager appeared clueless. one customer had to repeat his order correction several times, and the manager began yelling at the kitchen staff after they remade the sandwiches for him, because the manager didn't look down & see the correct sandwiches were right in front of her. When we first arrived (at about 11:00, the menu was still displaying only breakfast items, & the kitchen was still making breakfast items, though no one was ordering them). The fountain drink station was out of carbonation, so if you weren't getting water, they had to get it for you from behind the counter (my boyfriend never even got his Dr. Pepper, let alone our food). And the restroom was filthy (several dirty toilets & the doors were sticky). Nothing can make up for the stress & lost time we experienced, so all I can do is warn people to avoid this McDonald's. read more
