So far so good! I wanted a long-term female pediatrician for my daughter, and Dr. Faulkner has…read morebeen amazing. She has a 7 month old baby (as well as a son in elementary school, I believe), and I have seen her 3 times now- once for meet and greet, once postpartum at the hospital, and today during my baby's first wellness exam (2 days after hospital discharge). Dr. Faulkner answered all of my questions and concerns and assured me of any worries and anxiety about being a new mom. The rest of the staff have also all been very nice. Dr. Faulkner is off Wednesdays and works rest of the weekdays. The nurse's phone line answered my questions well as I have had to call for a congestion question once thus far. I really appreciate that they have a phone line for parents to have non-emergency questions answered. I also love that the office has separate waiting area between wellness visit patients and ill patients. They also try to see newborns before sick patients first thing in the morning or first thing after lunch. Postpartum, we saw Dr. Schwartz twice at the hospital as he was the on call doctor for the weekend I delivered my baby. He is more serious in demeanor but was attentive to examining my newborn. Dr. Faulkner is more happy and upbeat, and I feel easier to talk to her regarding my questions. She always has a smile on her face!

I have nothing but good things to say about this office…read more Dr. Schwartz looks over our first born and he's just our type. Straight forward, to the point, and neutral. We came into this office when our kiddo was one and were pretty behind on shots, we didn't feel pressure from Dr. Schwartz to vaccinate but ultimately we knew it was the right thing to do. A year later we're all caught up and our kiddo still cries when he walks into one of the rooms . We definitely recommend this office!

The wait times can be long but the care is top notch. As the parent of a sick baby with RSV that…read morethey fit into the schedule multiple times that week, I appreciate how they try to make time for all their patients. Not only did they fit her in for multiple checkups during that scary week the baby had RSV, they checked in over the weekend as well. The wait can be frustrating but I just plan to be there for an hour. I wouldn't trade the care we get to have faster appointments. We have three kids five and under that go there.

Unless you are comfortable with 40+ minute wait times for a few minutes with the doctor, having…read moreconcerns dismissed, and having important conversations omitted from your child's clinical notes, I would strongly encourage you to consider another pediatric practice. I have repeatedly felt that my concerns about my daughter have not been taken seriously. At her 2-month appointment, I raised concerns about her head shape and torticollis, but I did not feel they were appropriately addressed. At her 4-month appointment, I brought up my concerns about her head again. At that appointment, Dr. Reed did recommend that we see a helmet specialist, which was helpful and something I do want to give credit for. The helmet specialist was ultimately the one who identified that my daughter had severe torticollis and recommended physical therapy. Her current physical therapist agrees with that assessment. Despite my concerns about torticollis being raised earlier, it was not acknowledged by Dr. Reed until her 6-month appointment, when I needed a referral for physical therapy. At her 6-month appointment, I also raised another concern that Dr. Reed said she would evaluate. It was forgotten during the appointment, and I had to remind her at the very end. She then said my daughter would need a prescription. However, that conversation is not included in the clinical notes, and no prescription was ever provided. More concerningly, when my daughter was prescribed antibiotics and began having significant adverse effects, including repeatedly being unable to keep anything down and becoming dehydrated, I contacted the office for guidance. I was told to continue giving the medication as long as she did not develop hives. Given the symptoms I was reporting, I found this response extremely concerning. The nurse line has also been frustrating to use. Calls regarding health concerns have not been returned, leaving me without timely guidance when I was actively trying to get help for my child. I understand that pediatric offices are busy, and I do not expect every concern to result in a diagnosis or treatment. What I do expect is to be heard, have concerns appropriately evaluated, receive clear follow-up when something requires it, and have significant discussions accurately documented in my child's medical record. After multiple experiences like these, I no longer have confidence in the level of communication and follow-through provided by this practice. I would strongly encourage parents to consider these factors when choosing a pediatrician.

From our very first meeting, we felt completely at ease--she was warm, approachable, and knowledgeable. We were living in West Plano at the time and chose her without hesitation. Since then, both of our children have been under her care since birth. Even after moving to the McKinney/Allen area, we continue to make the drive to Willow Bend Pediatrics just to see Dr. Le--that's how much we value her care. They're always able to get us in when one of our kiddos isn't feeling well, and my kids actually love going to the doctor because of her. That says a lot! Dr. Le has an incredible bedside manner--she's warm, friendly, and always takes the time to listen and explain things thoroughly. We've never once felt rushed during an appointment. As long as we're in the DFW area, she will absolutely remain our pediatrician. We can't recommend her enough!

After taking off work to make it work, significant storms came in and made it to where we were 15 minutes late. Instead of seeing us then, they demanded we reschedule for 4:30 later that day - even though they wouldn't schedule us in the afternoon when we originally tried making the appointment. Would avoid.

We started with Dr. Goebel who was absolutely amazing, and when he retired we switched to Dr. Wong. Dr. Wong is so knowledgeable and it is obvious how experienced she is. The rooms in the office are so fun, and the office has both a well and sick kids waiting room, which makes a mom with a 2 month old feel at ease. We have never had to wait long, and the staff is all so kind. I would drive an hour to go to this office, very few places have this quality of care.

The trend has been a long wait to either to be called back, see the doctor/ nurses, or both. We showed up about 5 minutes before our scheduled appointment time; otherwise, they will make you reschedule if checked in is past their 10-15 minutes threshold from the appointment time. From the time of our appointment to when we were done, it took approximately 1.5 hours with about 30 minutes wait interval between measurements/wgt, seeing the doctor, and then nurses for the shots. If you have an infant /toddler, this feels like eternity. This has been a very frustrating aspect and would give a five star recommendation otherwise.
