So far so good! I wanted a long-term female pediatrician for my daughter, and Dr. Faulkner has…read morebeen amazing. She has a 7 month old baby (as well as a son in elementary school, I believe), and I have seen her 3 times now- once for meet and greet, once postpartum at the hospital, and today during my baby's first wellness exam (2 days after hospital discharge). Dr. Faulkner answered all of my questions and concerns and assured me of any worries and anxiety about being a new mom. The rest of the staff have also all been very nice. Dr. Faulkner is off Wednesdays and works rest of the weekdays. The nurse's phone line answered my questions well as I have had to call for a congestion question once thus far. I really appreciate that they have a phone line for parents to have non-emergency questions answered. I also love that the office has separate waiting area between wellness visit patients and ill patients. They also try to see newborns before sick patients first thing in the morning or first thing after lunch. Postpartum, we saw Dr. Schwartz twice at the hospital as he was the on call doctor for the weekend I delivered my baby. He is more serious in demeanor but was attentive to examining my newborn. Dr. Faulkner is more happy and upbeat, and I feel easier to talk to her regarding my questions. She always has a smile on her face!

I have nothing but good things to say about this office…read more Dr. Schwartz looks over our first born and he's just our type. Straight forward, to the point, and neutral. We came into this office when our kiddo was one and were pretty behind on shots, we didn't feel pressure from Dr. Schwartz to vaccinate but ultimately we knew it was the right thing to do. A year later we're all caught up and our kiddo still cries when he walks into one of the rooms . We definitely recommend this office!

Dr. Thai has been our pediatrician since my 14 year old was a baby. He's seen both my girls since…read morethe first check up. We were going to see him since he had his previous office here in Frisco. Things we love as a family: Dr. Thai's humble attitude towards the parents and the kids. There are very few doctors that take the time to listen and to explain in a understandable manner to those who do not know about medicine. He sits down asks about our latest vacations, jobs, moves, etc. He even has an open mind when dealing with teenagers, now that we have one, he took the time to talk to her and provided her with options about dealing with teenage issues. We've even seen him outside the office and he's the same cool, laid back humble guy. I also like his nurses. They are so sweet and they know my girls even when I call on the phone they know who am I talking about. I love the fact they will see your kids the same day if they are sick. Plus they have extended their hours and even open on Saturdays. We also appreciate the fact that he's always been the kind of Dr that likes to be on the safe side. He rather be thorough and have the kids get some extra tests, blood work or scans to rule out any major problem. Which for me that means a lot because as a mom all we do is worry about our kids. Another thing I love is his after hours on-call phone service. No matter the time you call and he will call you back and tell you what you need to do and give you a piece of mind until the next day. His office always has available parking, it's pretty looking, clean and organized. It has many room to see many patients plus they keep up to date with computer charts instead of folders/papers. Now you can sign in with an iPad in the front desk. Each room is decorated by painted murals of exotic animals to attract the children. They have a bathroom with a changing table and they even provide diapers and wipes for the little ones. They also have the waiting area divided by sick/non sick children. Now this is the only issue: the waiting. Yes it's a long wait. Partly because he does takes his time with all the families, which I really appreciate. So I already know that when I go I'm going to be there more than an hour. But since I love everything else I don't really care waiting because I know my girls are going to get the best care possible. Also I know I am waiting because he is with other patients and not just because he is out of the office or simply attending other matters besides his patients. I know everyone else is getting his attention and care that he's so famous for! This is the reason I will bring my oldest to see him until she turns 18 . We love Dr. Thai!

He flailed court documents that were not related to my infant daughter's care in an effort to paint me in a bad light, and it worked. I and my mother started getting questioned instead of my abusive ex. I suffered postpartum depression and psychosis after my daughter's birth, all propagated by abusive treatment from my ex husband. I filed for divorce and attempted to coparent with him. Instead of cooperating and being accountable for his actions, he turned all focus on me, making my health a witch hunt in all aspects, even my daughter's care. Considering this practice works with infants, surely they are aware of the health challenges that may follow mothers, especially under stress and duress. Additionally, rather than taking word from whoever painted a false narrative and getting involved in matters that are not related to their patients' health, they should maintain impartiality and investigate the truth should they decide to involve themselves. My ex had these people thinking he was the insurance carrier and the financially responsible party along with whatever else false narratives. He definitely was not the responsible party and definitely provided fabricated, "legal" documents. This practice failed my daughter and me. To act in the best interest of a child means you check that they are in a healthy and loving environment, not supporting abusive behavior and not alienating a mother who is trying to care for her infant while navigating PPD and PPP.

Every time Ive called in with a minor concern they were very quick to answer my questions offer advice, expertise and were able to get us in to see Dr Stokes IMMEDIATELY, like within an hour! I felt like they were just as reactive as my OBGYN was when I was 8 mos pregnant, on call at a moments notice. I cant say enough how much of a priority the entire staff put on my children's care. Here are a few examples... 1. I walk in with my infant in her carrier...the staffer that happened in be walking in at the same time opens the door and then says oh my what a little baby you have...Let me take you back into a room right now so you don't have to be around all the other children in the lobby. 2. I call because my oldest has to come home sick from school. I called them as soon as I got off the phone with the school nurse. They say, ok Can you pick up your daughter and bring her straight in? We will have a room waiting for her. 3. Ive never waited more than 5 mins in the lobby. Now I do set most of my appts mid day mid week but I'm always impressed. The Dr's and Nurses are also quick begin our apt. 4. Dr Stokes takes the time to hold my baby and chat with us. I know its small but I feel like she really loves her patients and CARES. She also takes time to make interesting small talk with us. Shes an older lady and has experienced alot of changes in the medical field and I couldn't be happier with our choice of Pediatricians and HER choice in the staff members she hires. Well done Frisco Pediatrics!!
