The first two had a corporate vibe, and sent me directly into a voicemail black hole. It was days before I heard back. When I called With A Little Help, within seconds, I was talking with Kacie, one of the owners, who was so kind and spent all of the time I needed talking with me about our situation and care needs. By the end of the phone call, we had a plan for an intake evaluation, and just a couple of days later, a new care team was in place...and just like that, the stress and worry that had been accumulating over many months lifted. We all rallied, but even with all the help our family could provide, it wasn't enough. We we drowning. With a few sessions with ECN, we had a list of vetted facilities and a expert guidance on how to navigate Medicaid. My therapist, Ashley Clippard, showed infinite patience, explaining her proposed treatment for my neck and spine in detail. After maybe four treatments my neck has more mobility, and pain has subsided exponentially. Ashley is a miracle worker. Her upbeat personality brings positivity to our sessions, and her expertise generates confidence. My arthritis isn't disappearing, but because of Ashley's treatment I can function the way I want to.
