I was impressed at how quickly he responded and how courteous he was. He wore a mask to be safe with covid concerns. Hesson Plumbing responded quickly to my message I left and then responded to our house within the hour of returning my call. He repaired the water pipe quickly, so we could have hot water again ASAP in order for us to take showers that night. He was courteous and did great work for a reasonable price. After installation, Mr Hesson informed me he added a couple valve joints and two bags of salt for my convenience, so I agreed to reimburse him for the added supplies. I was shocked when the bill was updated to add an extra $696!! I thought surely it was a typo, and reached out for an adjustment. At first, he claimed it was for 200 lbs of salt (an amount my unit doesn't even hold) then he claimed it was for valve joints (but they're only $10 each) then he claimed it was for 'material and labor' but labor was included in the original estimate. And I didn't ask for the valve joints to begin with! I could've just used my main cutoff. Mr Hesson is dishonest and refused to correct my invoice. Also worth mentioning, he left my basement a sandy mess - didn't even do a quick broom sweep after he finished. I'm so disappointed in his integrity and work ethics! His website claims he doesn't surprise bill and can be trusted, but it's not true. Don't risk your money on this plumber - keep shopping around.
