I was told that they could accommodate me with an emergency appointment for the next day at 09:30. I arrived at 09:15 am so I could complete my paperwork. The woman at the desk was on the phone as I signed in and I sat down. About 50 minutes later she acknowledged me and gave me the tablet to complete the questionnaire. I didn't get called to the back until 11:50. The woman took my x-rays and placed me in the room. The dental hygienist came in and evaluated me. I waited another 30 minutes for the dentist to come in. The dentist came in. Dr Redding. She was hurried, ragged, and unprofessional in her appearance and attitude. She was accompanied by the office manager. She looked in my mouth and after poking me hard with the metal instrument she said she was going to refer me to an endodontist. She seemed annoyed that I complained of pain at the surrounding teeth around the tooth that she could clearly see that I lost a filling and was causing me pain. "Well, which tooth did you say it was hurting you?" I pointed to the tooth that I thought was cracked because I could feel it is irregular. I couldn't see a filling was missing. She said she would give me pain medication and an antibiotic. First, I didn't want pain medication. I wanted the cause of the pain to be taken care of whether the cavity be filled or the tooth pulled. Second, I had no medical need to be placed on antibiotics. I don't have an abscess, infection, or heart disease. Third, she never asked if I wanted to have root canal and a crown done. When I asked her if this is what she called "Emergency" care, she made up some story about the pain could be coming from the tooth in front of the tooth that is causing my pain. That tooth had previously had root canal completed and how can the pain come from the crown which no longer has any nerve endings? How could that tooth cause pain? Then they both told me to wait in another room so the office manager could "check me out and give me an estimate of my cost". All I wanted was a copy of my x-rays so I could go elsewhere to be treated for my pain. After another 20 minute wait, the office manager had the nerve to print a copy of my "x-rays" from the printer in her office. I even told her that she wouldn't look my in my eyes when she spoke to me because she knew that what they were doing was wrong. This was the most frustrating and unprofessional experience I have ever experienced in a so called professional office. The place was filthy and floors looked like they had never been swept or mopped. I have attached pictures of the filthy floors that I took while waiting the long wait. All I wanted is copies of my x-rays so I could go to a real, professional dentist that practices real dentistry and not rip off artists. My whole morning and part of the afternoon was wasted in that office when I could have actually received help. Never ever again. Would not recommend this place to a dog. When I tried to call and complain, I was hung up on twice by corporate. Then sent an email and when I tried to reply to the so-called regional manager Sara.davis@aspendental.com, my email was sent back as "undeliverable". What a joke.

I sent this letter to the office…read more To Whom It May Concern, My daughter had an appointment with your office on 05/06/21 for a consultation regarding her wisdom teeth being extracted. I was given your name as a referral from another dentist that I go to. I shared the information with my daughter who chose to schedule with you. She arrived to the appointment and was advised she had to pay for x-rays and for the consultation. My daughter thought the visit was going to be filed with my insurance. I believe the fees were $75 and $99. She called me because she did not have the money to pay for the services. I agreed to pay the fees but I had some questions about the fees. I was under the impression that the x-rays would be covered by my insurance company because I had just had x-rays at another dental office and they were covered. My daughter advised Jenna (I think that was her name) that I had some questions. My daughter states that Jenna's entire disposition changed. She was rude, annoyed, and flustered due to the fact that my daughter advised that I (her mother) had questions. I heard Jenna say "like I am not understanding...why does she need to talk to me....questions about what" I could not believe what I was hearing. My daughter said, my mother would like to speak to you. Jenna told my daughter to tell me to call the office. I called the office twice and it went to voicemail/automated system. My daughter said Jenna and the other staff were all sitting behind the desk talking to one another. My daughter went back to the desk to advise Jenna that I called but no one was answering the phone and this further infuriated her. I called again and someone answered the phone. I asked to speak to Jenna, the person stumbled over their words and said she is busy. I said, well she just asked me to call her so I am not understanding why she is busy. The person rudely said, what do you want to know? I asked, what kind of customer service is this....and before I could get the words out of my mouth, this person started raising her voice and talking over me. I disconnected the call. I called my daughter and advised her to leave. There can not be much disciplinary action being taken in your practice. If there were, this would have never happened. They did it because they know that nothing is going to happen. To get indignant and treat a customer like this over asking a question about x-rays..... I had to sit there for a minute. I could not believe that this happened....the blatant disrespect. Like my daughter was insignificant and I dare you ask our high class office about payment. I can only imagine what they told you in regards to this appointment slot....Oh, the patient could not pay so they left. I hope you will discuss this incident with your staff so that it does not happen to anyone else.

This was my first time back since the COVID crisis and I was excited to see the new changes and upgrades; however, their management and X-ray procedures had changed for the worse. I was fine until X-rays. The supervisor had the students performing the X-rays with the bitewings placed in vertically instead of horizontally which is more comfortable and usual. There was little supervision from the X-ray technician who usually performs the X-rays. The student struggled to get in the correct position because my mouth spacing was considered "small". It was taking almost an hour for X-rays as they don't use updated equipment for training purposes. At some point after the student was not getting the X-rays right and I was uncomfortable and in pain, I refused to let her continue while her supervisor stood there like she was enjoying what was taking place. She knew it was painful and just stood there with a smirk. As a result, the next day, I was eating and bit down and cracked my left canine tooth on my bottom teeth because my jaw has apparently shifted from the X-rays with vertical bitewings being place for long periods of time. I'm very disappointed that I had to make the choice of not going back because of bad choices of this supervisor. FYI-the cleanings are now $50.

Because the other dentist had already taken X-rays, his office couldn't take any more (due to my insurance) unless I paid out of pocket. I only had a copy of my X-rays printed on paper. But Dr. Moore, being the miracle worker he is made these copies work for him even though I offered to pay out of pocket for more X-rays if he needed me to. Dr. Moore fixed my tooth on the top that I thought was cracked and had a lost filling. He discussed with me that he didn't think the crack in my tooth went very far into the tooth and I had a 50/50 chance that he could help. By doing this, he was trying to save my tooth and save me money. I told him to try to save the tooth and try to stop my pain. Well, he worked his magic and drilled the tooth and it worked! I love the fact that he even called me himself the next day to see how I was doing and if I had any pain! I have always been afraid of dentists and he really made me feel at ease! I really appreciated how he looked at my tooth and talked to me, I mean really talked to me about my options and took time to explain what he saw to me. That was extra special to me because prior to seeing him, I had a horrible experience elsewhere about the same tooth a few days before seeing him. And his staff was also excellent! Thank you Dr. Moore!
