I've known Dr B personally for over a year, so called him for a consult vs the last Endodonist I saw a few years ago for a root canal. Slosberg confirmed that I needed a root canal and worked me in that afternoon. His office was beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful. The staff was top notch... all gentle, smiling, and joyful. Dr Slosberg used a 3D monitor to do the procedure and it was painless. He and the nurse warned me I'd be sore after the anesthesia wore off so I waited and waited, expecting to hurt at least a little by evening. He checked in a few hours after I left and asked how my mouth was feeling, to which I replied that I was still waiting for the numbing to wear off... I woke up this up this morning with no soreness! This wasn't my first root canal and I'm young, so it probably won't be the last. And I grew up around medical practices and offices... The professionalism, communication, attention, environment, and procedure was THE BEST medical experience I've ever had, all around... SEE Dr. Slosberg and his team FIRST when looking for an endodontist, you won't regret it! Thank you Atlanta Endodontics !!

Hard to say, "Woohoo!" about a root canal (see 5 -star rating description), but this was a pretty…read moregood experience. If you read my other posts, you'll see that I am a loyal patron of my beloved Dental TLC. A few months ago, I had the opportunity to visit my friends there, and learn that I needed to have a(nother) root canal along with a tooth extraction. Yipee! After the staff at Dental TLC helped dry my tears (literally), they helped me schedule my root canal for the following day with Dr. Shapiro. A member of the staff (her name escapes me, but I believe she is his main assistant) called me to see if I could come in a little early, and I was happy to do so. Upon arriving to the office building, Dr. Shapiro himself happened to ride up on the elevator with me, and he was really kind and just generally pleasant. He helped me find my way to the (beautifully decorated) waiting room, where I checked in and had a seat. It wasn't long before the same assistant brought me back and the fun began! No nitrous or TVs on the ceiling, but what matters most is the quality of the work that was done. This wasn't my first rodeo, and I appreciated how thorough, meticulous, and honest Dr. Shapiro was. I was in a good bit of pain to begin with, and got tearful at one point when he was being a little rough. He immediately stopped, apologized, and made sure I was okay before he continued. When all was said and done, I returned a few weeks later to have the finishing touches put on (different assistant - not quite as great as the first one). Dr. Shapiro himself walked me to the front desk to check out and thanked me and wished me well. Just a really nice man who happens to really be good at what he does. I hope to not be back, but if I need to, I wouldn't hesitate for a minute.

My new dentist referred me to someone he highly recommended, but the only thing I could think of was the experience I had with Dr. Shapiro back in 2020. Dr. Shapiro is a magician. So gentle and careful. Dr. Shapiro always addresses my concerns and even when I think I don't need a root canal he actually goes through small tests to verify if in fact I'm in the right place. Lol Dr. Shapiro explains what to expect in detail and makes sure I'm breathing and comfortable. No one wants this procedure right? But if I have to get a root canal I'm coming to see Dr. Shapiro. I am a young person and woman of color and both times I have come here Dr. Shapiro was professional and knowledgeable. I read the prior review and hate that you had that experience as that is nothing what I received. Needless to say Dr. Shapiro has been great through a difficult situation. He plans on retiring and I hate to hear it as he is soooo good at what he does and I would recommend his service and expertise to the most skeptical. Thank you for your service in a time when I was soo afraid of this procedure and thank you for care and patience during my procedure. I could go on but I won't. I would just say if you need a root canal go Dr. Shapiro before he is retired.

The staff is warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely focused on making your experience comfortable and stress-free. Dr. Bens takes time to listen, explain treatment options thoroughly, and answer every question without ever making you feel rushed. His attention to detail, clinical expertise, and commitment to providing exceptional care is evident. What truly sets this practice even further apart from other offices, is the personal connection they build with their patients. In an era when many healthcare offices can feel impersonal, Dr. Bens and his team create an environment where you feel valued, respected, and cared for as an individual, or really as part of a family. The office is beautiful, clean, organized, and runs efficiently. If you're looking for a dentist who combines outstanding clinical care with genuine compassion and a patient-first approach, this is the place! Dr. Bens is the rare dentist who combines true professionalism with genuine compassion. He takes the time to explain everything in detail, making sure you fully understand your condition and treatment options. There is never any rush, and no question goes unanswered. What truly sets him apart is his level of involvement and advocacy for his patients. He referred me to an excellent endodontist for root canals and personally communicated with the specialist to ensure seamless care. He then referred me to a prosthodontist and went above and beyond--spending time on a phone call and texts coordinating my treatment. Dr. Bens even called me personally afterward to walk me through everything. Most impressively, after reviewing my prosthodontist treatment plan, Dr. Bens took the initiative to speak directly with the prosthodontist. That kind of dedication is extraordinary. He also took the time to carefully explain why the treatment was necessary and why the original cost was so high, which I truly appreciated. Dr. Bens is not only highly skilled but deeply invested in his patients' well-being. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found him and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone seeking outstanding dental care.

The office is above Haven restaurant and has plenty of free parking in the back lot. An elevator takes you right to the front entrance on the second floor. All of the employees are super friendly. I had two separate visits. My first visit was for X-rays and a dental cleaning. My second visit was for a filling to be replaced. Dr. Menendez and the dental technician were awesome. They clearly explained what was covered by my Cigna insurance and what work would be done. I'm extremely happy with the cleaning and my new filling. I don't have any sensitivity to hot or cold beverages and the filling blends well with my teeth. I highly recommend this dental office!

So disappointed and now very angry. We trusted Restoration Dental with our family's dental care for…read moreyears. They kept telling us that our children needed a special toothpaste to remineralize their teeth to avoid cavities, but every 6 months they needed multiple fillings, sometimes multiple sides on a tooth. One child had so many fillings (10-12 teeth) that I finally called to check which teeth had gotten done before. Some teeth had been done more than once, but they told me they were different spots on the same tooth. My youngest was leaving for college last year and yet again they told us he had 3 teeth with cavities, but they could "squeeze" him in right then. That way he could be done before he left for college. We took care of them. Those three teeth were $1042. Fast forward, he returns from college, goes for his cleaning and now he has 3 more teeth with cavities at an estimated cost o $975. He was home for summer, so they scheduled him for a while later. Luckily for us, we moved and found another dentist near our new home. We forwarded his records to the new dentist and scheduled an appointmemt to take care of the 3 teeth that had multiple cavities. My son went to the appointment and came home in less than 30 minutes. The dentist looked at his X-rays, took new ones and said they did not see any cavities! In fact they looked at the cavities that had been filled PREVIOUSLY on the X-rays and said they would not have filled most of them. They showed him and me what to look for on an X-ray, so we could see for ourselves. Going to Restoration Dental cost us thousands of dollars in unnecessary fillings. Nevermind the trauma that my children had to endure with getting shots and further tooth damage for the unnecessary drilling that was done to "clean out" nonexisting cavities. Now my children have the good fortune of looking forwards to possibly having these unnecessary fillings weaken their teeth over time and potentially cause broken teeth, more painful procedures and bigger bills as they get older. I have attached a copy of the last estimate for my son (look how many more teeth they were "watching"). LET ME REPEAT THAT THE NEW DENTIST DID NOT SEE ONE ISSUE THAT WAS ON THE ESTIMATE, AND LOOKED AT HIS PREVIOUSLY FILLED CAVITIES AND SAID THEY WOULD NOT HAVE FILLED MOST OF THEM. If you choose to go to this dentist, don't trust what they say, have them prove it to you. Btw, I noticed there is another review complaining of the same thing. This practice should refund my money and pay me for damaging my children's teeth. I am trying to see where I can legally report them.
