It was my first time meeting her. The office staff was amazing; however, Dr. Straughn was not. She was rude, crude and more. After reading reviews from other patients, Dr. Straughn's rudeness seems to be consistent. We cannot ALL be wrong... I genuinely believe that as patients, we partner with our medical professionals in the furtherance of our medical care. She showed great disdain for me asking questions. I was really concerned about the growth on my jaw given that both of my parents had cancer. When I asked if there was a possibility of the growth being cancerous, she stopped, glared at me, and stated emphatically, "either you are going to trust me or you're not." Unlike many doctors I've gone to, he never rushes your appointment, and he takes his time to talk to you and answer any questions you may have. His office is also well run, and his nurses are very friendly and nice. I regularly visit several doctors due to a genetic endocrine disorder, and appointments can be such an ordeal; I've had my share of negligent, uncaring doctors and unorganized, difficult offices. Dr. Harris's practice is quite possibly the best experience I've ever had... every time. With my teenage bad skin days behind me, I continue to see Dr. Harris for check-ups and a few things that have popped up (literally). I actually recently had three minor operations in the past couple of years that Dr. Harris performed, and everything went smoothly. He is meticulous and careful, and he made what could have been a painful ordeal and recovery absolutely a breeze. He walked me through everything honestly and thoroughly. On top of his skill, he is quite possibly the nicest, sweetest man in the world. Seriously - I could NEVER imagine him in even a slightly bad mood. She is very knowledgeable and I fully trust her with my health care! Which caused the appointment to be longer than it should of been. 2nd visit ~ I was told to be seen 1st that I should arrived by 7:45am. Ok I arrived 7:50 and was there on a Wednesday until 8:30am not only were they closed but, no one showed up. Because of this I was late to work and never received service. 3rd visit ~ I should of knew that service wasn't going to be any better when the young lady that checked me in asked me my name 3-4times. The service here is extremely un-organized and again I was there longer than I should of been. They recently started collecting a $100 copay in advance, which apparently has nothing to do with my insurance or the expected cost of the visit. They collected the $100 copay last time, and apparently the actual copay on my insurance when it was filed was only about $18 or so. Furthermore, I had an $80 CREDIT on file with them from their previous billing system, so now they owe me $162. This has been going on since February. Sabrina, who takes care of billing, has been no help and refuses to call me back. She's always "in a meeting" when I call. It's impossible to get ahold of anyone in the office except to pay a bill or make an appointment. They all hide behind their voice-response system. Lately, they've started requiring Social Security numbers from patients. That's bad enough, but worse is that they print these numbers--all 9 digits--on receipts and other paperwork that they give to patients at their visits. This mishandling of PII is going to result in a bunch of ID theft and possible lawsuits. Whoever is running their office is doing a terrible job.

Dr Hill always remembers things we've discussed in prior appointments and doesn't let my daughter avoid difficult questions (as teen girls like to do). She gets to what's underneath and truly helps my daughter. This isn't a practice that just gets them in and out like so many do. The staff has always been pleasant and when we've seen someone besides Dr. Hill, the service has continued to be exceptional. I can't recommend this practice more. I only wish we had found her much sooner!!

The medical team reviewed my mother's medical records before they met with us and tended to every detail with concern. We couldn't ask for a more well-trained, wise and understanding doctor. The drop off areas are beautiful and the parking lot has a practical drop-off ateas. My only regret is failing to take photos of the lovely, spacious waiting areas.
