I've been a customer here for years, and their quality of service is excellent. But, I just picked up 11 laundered shirts, and the bill floored me! $55. Fifty Five Dollars! I'm sorry, but that's just absurd. $5 per shirt? Maybe $3, but this is simply price inflation without reason. The clerk said something about a 10% "deal" when I return, but no, that's unacceptable. Back to my home washing machine, for sure. The only reason I've used them is for their excellent ironing and preparation of my shirts, but no way am I paying $5 per shirt for nice pressing. This place sucks. I was given a receipt with one amount on it and when i show up for my clothes i am given a different receipt with a different amount being charged. Y'all need to do better at separating clothes and counting up to 7 clothing items. You're telling me when i showed up i only had 5 items but when it's time to pay i had 7 items. That is your mistake not mine. And my issue is not with the price difference my issue is with the employee who wanted to act like i tried to bring in a fake receipt like i went home and modified it. Be better learn how to separate items and count items up to 7 and learn how to take accountability for your mistakes instead of making the customer feel like it's their fault. I went to this cleaners because it supposedly had good reviews on Yelp and the convenience of it being close to home. Unfortunately my first time there, they washed my white dress shirt with a red article of clothing which left pink stains on it. Luckily the employee there payed me back in cash as long as I showed her how much the shirt cost online. But now I call the number that's listed online & Yelp and there's no response because they have not updated it. I've come to realize this place is very unprofessional and not reliable. read more

This dry cleaners USED to be a good reliable spot but not anymore sadly. Way too many times I've dropped off clothing here and when I come to pick it up at the the date/time THEY gave me it's not ready. 9 times out of 10 my clothing is never ready for pick up. Mccleaners was the go to for dry cleaning until today. Today i show up with my receipt and when getting rung up the amount was different, 31$ to 50$ and no big deal. But the little guy then tells me i have the wrong receipt ummmm no you gave me the wrong receipt buddy did i create this receipt myself ? So don't tell me i have the wrong receipt tell me you made a mistake that's it that's all but you want to accuse me of bringing the incorrect receipt. So since you can't be accountable for your mistake i will never bring my business to this establishment the woman was always very nice wish i would have gotten her today instead of this guy with lil man syndrome. I have come here solely for alterations. The first time was to shorten a bridesmaids dress that was a high low, wrap dress in velvet. It was done so quickly and was good quality work at an affordable price. I then came once more to get some slacks hemmed and again, awesome quality and quick turnaround time! After more than a week no response from owners after shrinking my $225valued sweater. 1. First visit owner and manager say the garment was never cleaned at their business. I gave them corresponding phone number. That wasn't good enough. Then said there is nothing wrong with the sweater. I put it on in front of them. Extra large fit me like a medium arms didn't fit and it's short. Ok we will fix it. 2. I go back several hours later. Your sweater is fixed. I look at it try it on still a medium. Now I'm told the owner doesn't speak English and his son will contact me tomorrow. 3. No contact so I go to the store. I'm told son was busy but he will be in to check SECURITY TAPE TO CHECK IF I DROPPED OFF SWEATER. IM BLACK NOW QUESTION IF IM A CUSTOMER OR TRYING TO RIP THEM OFF. I GO HOME BRING MY WIFE BACK (WHO IS WHITE) now no need to check tapes. Go figure. SON Has a clerk call to say he received my recipe from Norstroms that I bought sweater end of January ( winter over wore twice)and will buy a new sweater. Nothing in writing no follow up to this date. We have been customers for over 20 yrs prior to these people buying the 2 McCleaners in Highland. I suppose I need to go to small claims court. 4. After posting son calls as of today I have $100. Check to resolve as I found a sweater on sale on eBay $225 value for $90. Experience on customer service terrible! This was the first time in 20 years we had a cleaning issue. They do good work, however if an issue arises they didn't handle it in a quick and courteous way. I've been coming here for almost 20 years and in the last six months dish cleaner has gone to pot. Usually if you get to the counter with your clothes you can have it same day service. The sign clearly says that if you drop off by 9:30 AM same-day service will be provided usually about 2 PM 2:30 PM. This owner of the McCleaners needs to really talk to their staff on bedside manners and counter service. It always seems that there's a fight or a struggle for the counter manager to understand same day service. Usually when I come I have 20+ shirts which I drop off before the 9:30 AM threshold to get same-day service. In this particular case I had 25 shirts. Dropped them off at 6 AM and the counter lady Yvonne immediately goes into excuse making that "we can't have all of the shirts done the same day because we have lots of orders blah blah blah" Tough-- then remove your sign and commitment to provide same day service after all your in dry cleaning business. Not my problem. This is the business and service you offer customers. This place just lost a loyal customer and I will tell all my friends and business associates NOT to come here. read more

I grew up in the dry cleaning business. My dad owned 4 dry cleaners in Kansas and served government contracts with the Army. So I don't come to this review lightly. I wear a suit almost every day, with dress shirt, so our cleaning bill may not be normal. The prices here are fair. They once broke a belt buckle on my London Fog raincoat. The manager went to "hellnback" to replace it. Good customer service. 1. You can actually talk to the manager here. I like that. 2. Same day service is offered (before 10 a.m.) one day service is normal. Everything is done on the premises. 3. They encourage you to take your hangers back (recycle). I do. They thank me for it. 4. It's close to where I live, but I'd drive a few miles to keep using them. read more

Dropped off 2 tshirt-style maxi dresses to be hemmed; they are the same size, brand. etc. That was it; They just needed a simple 2" hem at the bottom -- nothing else. Picked them up, checked the hem, and one of the dresses was longer than the other. I checked the longer one and it seemed obvious to me that it was not hemmed, but the cashier argued with me that it was. I came home, tried it on and it is the exact same length as when i brought it to them. They charged me $30.00 to hem both dresses, but only did one. I will not be returning to McCleaners. read more

I haven't had a stain they couldn't clean, and my family is messy!! Their tailoring service is also really great and reliable. And all the work is done on site (unlike some other dry cleaners where they have to send them out and wait for the return on another day). So you know it's dependable, no lost clothes, and it's a fast turn around. They also have same day service, which has saved me on numerous occasions. THANK YOU!! Did I mention good price?!!! I was very happy with this cleaner until one of my shirts came back discolored. I saw the discoloration before I left the parking lot and brought the shirt back in. Instead of apologizing and trying to fix the shirt, I was basically told (by the owner's son I believe) that this was not their fault and the discoloration was most likely there before I brought the shirt to them. Not good. The defensive and accusatory attitude was unwarranted. I understand accidents happen when laundering clothing and would have accepted a simple apology and a minor credit toward future cleanings. Have had good experiences with McCleaners, until the last visit. My wife bought a dress at a thrift store for $7.00, not realizing it required dry cleaning. Because of the low cost of the dress she said she was not willing to pay more than $8.00 to have it dry cleaned. When I dropped the dress off Franciesca quoted me a price of $8.75, to which I agreed. When I went in to pick up the dress the price was $12.00. I told Mariela the price quoted by Franciesca, but she said Franciesca was not there, so the price was $12.00. I did not have the drop-off receipt with me, and asked if when I brought the receipt back with the $8.75 price on it they would refund the difference, which Mariela agreed to do. Imagine my surprise when I got home looked at the receipt and there was no price on it. I would strongly suggest that when dropping off items the clerk be asked to itemize the price for each type of item in writing on the ticket to protect customers from being overcharged. FYI, McCleaners does not accept American Express for payment. I gave McClelaners three stars because their cleaning service has been good, just not such good customer service. read more

Well decided to give this dry cleaners a try. Had a beautiful white down comforter with a small saucer sized light stain. Picked it up a day and a half later Saturday after 4pm. Drove home 20 miles and pulled it out of the wrapper and guess what, it's still cold and damp . I would expect a first class operation to pay attention to the quality of their work but then that's an old school quality. And yes the stain was still there. When I asked if it was taken care of the young man at the counter said if not to bring it back. Didn't even bother or offer to check. Tried to call but no answering service after hours. Gave it two stars for at least acting friendly. Otherwise no quality service, substandard results, and a total failure to go the extra distance to check or confirm a customers concerns. Maybe they launder clothing ok but big items forget about it. read more

This place is the best in the area. This is the McCleaners next to the Albertson's, not the Stater Bros. The whole front staff is amazing, after a couple visits they already remembered my name and were pulling up my cleaning with their fancy computer system. I haven't had any problems with my clothes there and their prices are great. The difference is I get the feeling that if there was ever a problem, they would address it right away. read more

Brought 2 shirts back because the quality of the job was poor. One shirt, never worn, came back with dirt marks. The other shirt's collar was ironed with folds in it. The young owner's son was very unprofessional, and had a fit when I asked him to re-do the shirts. He actually started to argue with me and accused me of using another company and then bringing the shirts back to him to re-do. Obviously he only knows $$$ and not customer service. I had to actual point out to him the poor workmanship as he denied seeing it. Been coming her for years and Ive been noticing the quality diminish as the prices rise. Never again!!!
