I had my vehicle towed here after experiencing engine problems; it was late Saturday evening, I was in an unfamiliar neighborhood, and I was catching a flight shortly after, so I picked the closest shop possible. When they opened on Monday, they called me to get the details, and everything was fine until they completed the diagnostic without consulting me first. Turns out, my repairs are covered under warranty, and the dealership service providers will have to rerun the diagnostic regardless. Of course, the diagnostic is completely covered under warranty, but at the shop it's $150. I spoke with several other service providers at the dealership beyond, and all agreed that the mechanics would have and should have known immediately to hold off on any diagnostics, and deferred to the dealership, due to the fact that my car is new and has very few miles on it. I contested the charges and scheduled a tow truck to take my car to the dealership. The service advisor responded by telling me that she would withhold my keys from the tow truck driver until I had paid my bill... for a service that, frankly, they clearly performed only to make a quick buck off me. I know it's hard just $100, but it's unethical, and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Very timely and quickly did the repairs needed. Will definitely use again. Mobile tech work is great...but also has the ability to use a shop/garage if necessary (which I needed for the rack and pinion repair). Great guy and very knowledgeable. I decided to give them a shot after such an incredible experience getting my windows tinted at their other shop. I am car illiterate and they're super patient with me. They've caught and thoroughly explained improper past fixes and what kinds of issues I have. They are proactive in communication, are friendly, and the ability to get an uber ride to and from the shop on their dime is incredible. They've also given me a loaner to use when they've had my car for extended periods. My last shop (European Service Center ) felt like I was picking up a part time job just to get any communication and my car would sometimes be there days on end without getting worked on. I feel like E1 is super respectful of my time, cares about my business, is very professional, and keeps me informed without me asking- it's so refreshing and appreciated. They are not the cheapest but also not wildly expensive either; their pricing is on par with my last shop and things are actually done right. I recognize that things don't always go perfectly and care a lot about how a company reacts to makes things right. I had a slight issue with my struts repair after about 9 months after the fix and they stood behind their work no problem and fixed it promptly (they have a 3 year warranty on work done).
