Solid Concrete What…read morea great company! They did a great job on my parking pad and sidewalk. I called Solid Concrete the day before Thanksgiving, and William was at my home two hours later. We told him what we wanted done, and William gave us the best bid for our project, so we decided to go with William and his crew. On Monday morning, he was at our house and started the actual project on Tuesday. On Thursday evening, the job was done. We are very happy with the results. Our concrete project was small compared to the bigger jobs I'm sure he probably had. William took great care of us and treated us as if our project was worth tens of thousands of dollars. I would strongly recommend SOLID CONCRETE for your concrete projects.

First of all, there are a few trades you want to be careful about going with the lowest bid…read more Concrete is one of them. You get a fly-by-night crew messing up your concrete, and there's no easy solution. I got three bids on my patio. Sione's was the most expensive. But in the walk-thru, Paul noticed things the other contractors didn't. He asked really good questions and provided a price quickly. His decades of experience was evident. So I decided to spend more and use him. He and his crew didn't disappoint. I wanted an arc on the end of the patio, and they worked on the form until I was happy with it. They answered all my questions and I had a lot. I'd overseen a lot of commercial concrete in my career, but was unfamiliar with several things they did during this residential job. It wasn't wrong, it was just unfamiliar. They explained why they were doing what they were doing, so I withheld judgment until the end. There were a couple of details in their prep work I wasn't happy with. They changed them without complaint or argument. And they cleaned up after they were done. On top of everything else, the crew was amazingly fast. Concrete is brutal work, but these guys moved like a well-oiled machine. The result was a beautiful product. No low spots, perfect slope, clean joint, beautiful radiused edges. I will definitely use them again when I'm ready to replace my old driveway. And I will recommend them to anyone I know looking for quality concrete work.

They really seem to be good at many things, so just because their business name says "concrete construction", if you have any work that needs to be completed, call Paul and run it by him. Unfortunately, we have experienced a dishonest/unethical contractor in the past, and Paul has proved to be honest and has integrity with fair pricing.

We first started the quoting process with Kairos Landscaping before COVID, but our project was put…read moreon hold for several years. When we were finally ready to move forward, we got three quotes. One was much higher than expected, another seemed unrealistically low and didn't inspire much confidence, but Kairos stood out as the right choice. One of the things that impressed us most was that they're a local company that uses their own employees rather than subcontractors. That was important to us and it showed in the quality of their work. Our project was completed by a two-person crew and they were outstanding. They worked incredibly hard every day, did all of the excavation by hand, and paid close attention to every detail. We worked closely with the owners throughout the planning process and the finished patio matched our vision perfectly, actually exceeding our expectations. Communication was excellent from start to finish. We made a couple of changes along the way, and they were always accommodating, flexible, and easy to work with. We're very happy with the finished patio and highly recommend Kairos Landscaping to anyone looking for quality workmanship, honest communication, and a company that truly takes pride in what they do.

Their work exceeded our expectations in every way. Super attentive to details. Couldn't recommend more! ---

From the very beginning, Candelario worked hard to stay within our budget while never compromising on quality. He even identified and repaired a drainage issue that we hadn't noticed, which we greatly appreciated. What impressed us most was the genuine care and compassion Candelario showed toward my elderly, disabled mother. He went above and beyond to make sure she could safely use her walker after the project was completed. A special thank you to Antonio, who did an incredible job replacing the handrails leading from the kitchen to the patio, applying drainage stones, and replacing our old fence. His attention to detail and willingness to help made a huge difference. I truly appreciate Candelario's professionalism, honesty, and kindness. It's rare to find a contractor who takes such pride in their work while also treating their customers like family. I highly recommend CCC Concrete to anyone looking for high-quality concrete work, and I will definitely be recommending Candelario and his team to my family and friends.

Overview: I started by sending pictures and a description of the job I wanted done. Angel responded saying they could do the job and he could come by within the week to check out the area and provide a quote. Angel's quote was similar to the others I received, BUT he was bringing an excavator when others would have been working manually. That means he could get the work done quicker without cutting any corners! The Estimate: Angel gave me an estimate, we agreed he'd get the job, and we signed some paperwork to that effect. He told me they'd be able to start the first week of November, and that's exactly what happened! There was some delay because of weather, but Angel was excellent with communication and made sure I knew what was going on. He wouldn't want to start digging when it was wet and the base of the retaining wall wouldn't be stable. The Work: The team of 2 that did most of the work were great. We couldn't believe how much they got done the first day! Angel came by at least once every day of the project and made sure that the project was being built the way we had talked about. When something wasn't going to work, or there was a better way of doing something, Angel would stop progress and either explain why, or ask if I had a preference when there were options. The People: Angel is great. He is very personable and cares a lot about doing a great job. When he gives the estimate, he shows off recent jobs on his phone, and he beams with pride. He stopped progress once to ask me about an idea to build steps down the side of the retaining wall. We love it! We appreciate that he didn't just take the job and do it, but he thought creatively as the job progressed -- like an artist. His crew are professionals and did a fantastic job. The Money: Of course you want to know about the money. Every job will have its own considerations. If you try to get 5 companies for a quote, 2 won't respond, and 3 will show up to give you a quote. Rainier Rockeries will show and be competitive. Not only that, but Angel tried very hard to keep the price of the job at the estimate he gave me. He threw in some fill dirt, gave me a discount on extra blocks outside the scope of the job, and pulled out some tree stumps (which would have been way too hard without the excavator). He didn't change the price on me at all, even though it cut in to his profit on my job. He is happy to sign documentation when a payment is made. If you have any questions, feel free to message me on Yelp. TLDR: - They are straightforward, fair, and transparent - The work they do is excellent - They show up on time and on budget - Communication is excellent! (a rarity for contractors)
