He looked a lot fancier than I expected, but still comfortable to come here for lunch. There was one server and quite a few tables, which I think posed the initial challenge. There were three of us and we each ordered something different. One colleague what are the tacos another a butter, chicken sandwich and I ordered the chicken tikka flatbread. After about 45 minutes of waiting, our food arrived, and it was absolutely delicious. I don't think I've ever had anything like that before and I'm sad that I am not local and may never have it again. Everyone was pleased with their meals. We had to ask for the check as soon as the food arrived and sadly couldn't afford any more time to savor it as much as we all wanted to. I would absolutely return but at dinner time when you can allocate possibly two hours.

As for the food... here's where the stars go down. We tried the buffalo chicken poutine and the butter chicken poutine- both were okay at best. Buffalo chicken poutine had sparse toppings and a mild flavor profile. The butter chicken poutine was much more saucy- but at the expensive of flavor. The curry tasted more like american chili than any butter chicken I've ever tasted. Maybe stick with more simple items at this establishment.

We snagged it and was dumbfounded by not only how many people were there but by the high energy and smiles. I was educated by my in-laws that the Brass Rail Bar is loved by many because of it's history and after being closed for a while after a death (I think) and covid, when it reopened, is packed full all days of the week. We went in specifically to try their Tom & Jerry cocktail which is evidently a Port Huron staple during the Christmas season. I can't remember the ingredients but they were delicious!!! I love that The Brass Rail is a family ran business and it is obvious how much love and passion goes into this business. I'll continue to visit this bar many years into the future, amazing place!

I selected about, but since I was not able to maintain my bikini figure these past few months (okay, past few years, perhaps), it was a little tight getting seated. This morning I ordered the 1/2 Olympic Omelette. It was filled with gyro meat, feta cheese, tomatoes and onions. Topped with a small portion of Greek taziki sauce, it hit the spot for me. I passed on the pita bread and substituted toast, instead. With drink, the total came to just over $8. The meal did the trick for me, I was satisfied. I look forward to my next visit.
