That being said, I've seen management change up at this place over the years and I've had some pretty bad experiences from previous crews here, but I've found the best use for this place is in oil changes, tire services, brake services, and so on. The regular maintenance stuff. I'll add that we used to be able to bring our own brakes/rotors/tires here and only pay for the labor, but the last time (2023) that I tried to do this at this location, I was told NTB didn't allow that anymore out of some liability issue or something. So, it seems that you need to purchase one of their own products for those services. However, they let me provide my own oil and filter for oil changes, so I think it's case specific. The staff at this location have also been really kind, no rudeness, no issues, and I've never had to wait long for the regular maintenance stuff to come through. All-in-all, it's a decent shop from a large chain. Management seems better now than it was in the past.

I went here on recommendation from my coworker to get my alternator replaced in June of last year…read more It wasn't cheap, but I appreciated that they were very kind about it and got it done somewhat timely (took an extra day than originally said but that's fine). Well, in late April, less than a year after getting this work done, my car starts having stalling problems. I took it into a different shop, and they determined that the alternator had completely gone bad and would need to be replaced AGAIN. I commute, but this was maybe 15,000-20,000 miles at most that was put on this alternator. After showing my mechanic my initial bill, he was floored at the price ($800-$900), saying it was double what was typical for that kind of work. I would NOT recommend taking your car here. I no longer live in the area so I can't try to get that alternator replaced again with them, but I also do not trust where the parts are sourced from. EDIT: In addition, when I took my car to a new shop to get the alternator replaced, the mechanic told me frankly: "You got scammed, the alternator [that came out of my car] looks incredibly old and it was never going to last very long."

The owner vowed in front of me and another witness that "he is not here to screw people." Yet Mr. Breeden doesn't run his business above reproach or with integrity. TJ the mechanic put aftermarket parts on my vehicle without my permission. TJ was also unable to do the repair work properly. There have been complaints about TJ's work but since its the owners son Mr. Breeden will not do anything about TJ's inept mechanics. The owner has done business in this county for over 40 years and is not concerned about work ethics nor integrity. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere!

The young man at the counter suggested a decent hotel in town, and advised: "Now in the morning, you be at Altman's Tire when they open at 8; they'll take care of you." Sure enough, Altman's owner opened the doors just before 8 a.m. the next morning and had me on the road by 10 a.m. The price charged was cheaper than what I would have been charged back home and I've had zero issues with the work they performed. Upon arrival I was told that the owners truck was stuck on the lift and it would be at least a half hour before he would arrive and remove it from the lift. I left and returned an hour later and they took my car in and I was told the service would take 45 minutes. An hour and a half later I received a text from the company that told me I had 10 immediate services required including battery terminal replacement, fluid changes and recommend new tires. Note: I just had the tires replaced by another company the day before. When I get to the counter the tech asks me if I have any questions about the text I received and I said No but I have a 20% Holiday Discount I printed from their website. The woman at the counter said my total would be $118 and I asked about the 20% discount and she said my $12 discount was included. I told her 20% of $120 is $24. And she said "this is what the system is telling me". I ended up paying $105 but when I got home I noticed a $8.64 job supply fee. What parts did they need to supply that I didn't receive?? Be warned. They are predatory. I won't be back.
