    Beautiful trees

Everything went well with the RV Resort. Poor planning in our part, it rained if course, it was freezing...luckily great restaurant for breakfast. The resort is beautiful, clean and I highly recommend.

Excellent choice for an RV stop along your travels! Higher priced than many but extremely well kept, garbage pick up daily and propane fill up as needed. Full hookups, grassy areas, picnic tables at each stop, many trees. And the bonus is their office/lodge area has an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, steam room and some exercise equipment. They also have a large community room with free popcorn, a flatscreen TV, and more! A full service RV lot! Very friendly and accommodating people work here as well. Thank you for the pleasant stay!

We loved this RV park! In fact, it's in our top 3 that we've ever visited! We had two different spots because once we arrived, we decided we needed to extend our stay and our original spot was not available for the additional nights. The staff was super friendly and very helpful! We have a 42' 5th wheel and initially booked a pull-thru, as we are always hesitant to book a back-in at an unfamiliar park. We moved to a back-in spot and it was no problem at all. The park is very well laid out with nice sized spots and wide roads. Both spots were great! The first one was huge and the second one had beautiful trees! They have a grounds crew that escort you to your spot and help you back in. They also have daily trash pick up at your site. The park is really just beautiful and peaceful overall. We didn't have a river view site but there are some and we walked the park and saw them. It's a quick 5 minute drive into the town of McCall and to the lake. Another perk at the RV park was the craft classes (which I think are just summer/early fall). I took a painting class with several other women and it was so much fun! The instructor, Julie, was great! McCall is a pretty long haul from SoCal, so I'm not sure when we'll make it back, but when we do we will book more nights for sure!!

This is a great place to stay! Walking distance to broken horn brewery, the cleanest bathrooms and friendliest staff! There is an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna which was a wonderful amenity. There are no wood fires permitted but you can use a volcano to get the campfire feel. Each site has a concrete pad and table. We stayed at a site along the river, we didn't spend too much time outside as it was wet but we had a great time nonetheless. We are already planning our next trip back!

The nicest RV park we've stayed at! Great service, beautiful and well kept grounds, lovely swimming pool/steam room/hot tub. The walk to the nearby river is beautiful. The park feels tucked away and quiet but it is in a great location- close to town. We will definitely be back next year!

    Main lodge. Very welcoming.

So, we're out on the road for a month. We had plans, but also left a number of days/nights unplanned in order to be flexible. Unfortunately, half the US is out on the road as well, so last minute reservations are challenge. As we left Oregon on our way to McCall, Idaho, we tried to get a spot in the state parks up by the lake but they were full. We came across McCall RV park on Yelp and enjoyed the reviews and pictures. We called, and they had "one spot left". We took it. McCall RV Park is run by G7 RV Resorts. I had not stayed at a G7 resort before. Let's just say, what a treat. When we checked in, the lady at the counter was amazingly thorough. She explained all the details of the resort, and answered our questions. During this talk, Babbs and I toyed with the possibility of staying 3 nights, vs. just two. The G7 team worked their magic to free up a spot for 3 nights so we wouldn't have to move mid-stay. (She didn't tell us, but she had put us up by where the owners keep their rigs.) Quite, with a short loop so no traffic other than our immediate neighbors. When I was done checking in, I asked her "who does your training?". She didn't quite understand the question so I explained. I've stayed all over the world, and in some very nice places, but her check-in process, explanation of the resort and it's services and features had been the best check-in experience I had every had. Seriously. She explained it was a G7 resort and that was how the family who owned G7 liked it run, with smiles. Clean, clean, clean. The main office looked like a resort. Several large, tall, log cabin style buildings connected via a breezeway. The second building houses the pool, steam, sauna and bath/shower rooms (of where there are 6). I thought they had bought an old lodge and converted the grounds and they said, No, this is how it was designed from the start, as an RV park. Note, They also have full laundry, outdoor BBQ, gathering areas (for post COVID) etc... What's even more amazing, the entire site is along the N. Fork of the Payette River. There were bike trails everywhere - down to the river and to downtown and the lake. Babbs and I took our e-bikes into town each day and down to the lake. Since we were over a week into our trip we also took advantage of the laundry facilities. #sparklingclean. When you arrive, a G7 representative will accompany you to our site and offered to help setting up. I offered a tip and the man wouldn't take it. Super nice. They have folks on golf carts who will take your garage away in the morning. They also will pick up, fill and return your propane cylinders if you leave them out in the AM. Crazy great service. They have cabins too if you're looking to get out of your rig for a night or two. Where we were set up, I noticed two nice 5th wheelers near us that were unoccupied. On the second day a gentlemen came to wash one of the rigs. I struck up a conversation and noticed he had a G7 shirt on. He was a family member and told me the story of the Grandfather starting the first RV park and now they have a group of them. You can tell they take family pride in their operations. I only wish we were going through one of their other towns so we could experience another G7 Resort. This was unequivocally, one of the cleanest, best run and well managed RV parks we have stayed in. Highly recommended!

If you like resort camping this place is awesome! Large sites, well-maintained, and friendly staff. There are only a few river sites where you can actually see the river from your table, otherwise you can see it on the edge of your site. There are mosquitoes but they aren't so bad in the upper sites. Definitely worse at the river sites. My only complaint/suggestion would be to make the pool about 10 degrees warmer since it's indoors and you don't have the sun warming you and making the hot tub a few degrees cooler. It's so hot you can only stay in for a couple of minutes which defeats the purpose of relaxing your sore muscles. Most sites are gravel with grass area, but there are a few paved sites just below the cabin area. Will definitely book here again.

This is a fun resort right on the Payette River. The lower spots are where it's at. They have incredible views of the river and are spaced out nicely. The upper spots are nice too, however they are a little more crammed and a bit of a hike to get to the river. The staff was all super friendly and very helpful. The resort has an indoor pool and spa, exercise room, laundry facilities, propane fill station, dump station, and each site has full hook ups available. My boys really enjoyed being able to walk down to the river and go fishing. It got below freezing on this trip so we had to make sure that our fresh water hose was disconnected at night so it didn't freeze up. There were so many deer around the campground it was really neat seeing them walk right up to our motorhome. The town of McCall Idaho is spectacular as well. A quaint little town with some neat restaurants right on Payette Lake. If you are in McCall Idaho then McCall RV resort is the place to stay. 5 stars! I am looking to recover more of my costs as this was a horrible experience. -Propane heater not working on one floor of the house -Bags of garbage, empty liquor bottles and cans, cardboard from the previous guests left on the porch for our entire stay -Mouse droppings throughout the house, mouse traps under the beds, sofas and in kitchen -Outdated tvs not allowing us to cast our apps from our phone to the tvs -Hot tub jets not working, heated pool not heated -Limited kitchen utensils available to cook a meal. We were forced to buy our own utensils -No shovel was provided in the mountains of Vermont. It snowed for the two days we were visiting leaving an additional 4 inches of snow in the driveway -Extremely poor customer service. Delayed response time and not accommodating -Fees were allegedly more than the price per night. We were provided a 25% refund which was named as standard for any complaint. This amount is not equal to the terrible experience we had at the property. -Customer service cutting us off during the conversation and avoiding questions. -Spoke with manager Tala, and supervisor Joann left a voicemail stating they do not want to help us any further. We did not get even close tot the value of what we paid. And staying in a house with cleanliness issues, health issues (no heat and mouse feces) deserves more attention from customer service to ensure their customers are satisfied.

The sheets had debris on them and stains all over them. Then as you can see in the pictures that same bed was damaged and my 80 year-old mother fell through the bed and had some back and neck problems and a major headache that I had to take her to the emergency room that same night. There was no hot water. The lady came in to check the hot water and turned the breaker off and did not tell us that she had turned the hot water breaker off. I had to boil water on the stove, just to get some hot water to take a shower. We had came home one night and it was 90° in the house because the heater had kicked on not sure why you need a heater when it was already over 80° outside. Horrible horrible horrible experience horrible people. Beds felt like they were 30 years. Old. Literal prison mattresses for the bed sheets were rough as could be. If I could give negative negative negative stars I would do it in a heartbeat. These people are horrible. Please do not ever rent from them. So this is in response to Molly the customer service rep that just commented on my review. Don't you think that a credit would be appropriate concerning the fact of all the horrible things we had to endure while we stayed you literally just said that the bedroom was removed and all these other things were done to prevent this from happening again but yet we're out $506 And had a horrible horrible experience. So if you're really wanting to make it right, maybe a refund would be so much better thank you.

What I cannot understand is how a booking issue like this wasn't discovered until three weeks before one of the busiest vacation weeks of the year. I was told that the other party would keep the reservation because they had booked first. If your system can determine who booked first, then how did this supposed glitch go unnoticed for months? The explanation simply doesn't make sense to me. The replacement properties offered were not remotely comparable to the home I originally reserved. They were older, tired-looking homes that lacked the quality, location, and appeal of the property I selected. The agent I worked with initially said he would follow up the next day with a newly available build that might be a better fit. He never did. I had to follow up myself, and the alternative he eventually sent was yet another outdated property that was nowhere near equivalent. With only three weeks until our trip, there were virtually no comparable rentals left in McCall, and the few that were available were nearly double the price. I would have expected a reputable rental company to take ownership of their mistake, work aggressively to find a truly comparable replacement, and offer a meaningful discount or compensation for the inconvenience. Instead, I was left scrambling to salvage a family vacation that had been planned for months. What disappointed me most was the lack of empathy and urgency. The agent showed very little concern for the situation or the impact it had on our family. The entire experience felt unprofessional and poorly handled from start to finish. Unfortunately, because of how this was managed, I will not use this company again and would caution others to think carefully before relying on them for an important vacation booking.

Understanding that McCall Vacation Rentals is not responsible for the functioning amenities as it states on inidaho.com, I would have been satisfied had they at least let us know the hot tub was broken in advance, so we did not plan on that being a major source of entertainment while on vacation. Instead, we had to find out upon arriving at the cabin. What a disappointment! River Ridge cabin is beautiful and a great deal for the price - with a hot tub. Having a private hot tub on the deck was the entire reason we booked this cabin. When I called McCall Vacation Rentals upon arrival, to determine what happened with the hot tub, they blew me off. The claimed they had no idea what was wrong with it and that they needed to call the owners. Finally I called back - twice - to get blown off again, until someone from McCall spa came by the cabin - to tell us that the hot tub had been broken for 3 weeks! Kimmie, (not sure on name) who "helped" me at McCall Vacation Rental - never had the guts to come out and just tell me the spa was broken, or that it wasn't going to be fixed. She even had the nerve to tell me she would call me back when she knew if the hot tub would be fixed that day or not.....which of course she never did. I will never rent from McCall Vacation Rental again knowing their shady business practices to sucker people into renting their properties. Positive aspects of the rental were the cleanliness and well-stocked, very beautiful cabin. We greatly appreciated the owner's hospitality, but again, would have been more satisfied had we been treated with honesty and respect by the rental company. If you are renting from this company beware the website is probably not what you will find when you arrive.
