The complex is located 6 min. drive from Lake Cascade, 35-40 min drives to either Tamarack or McCall, and there are various restaurants nearby, plus Kelly's Whitewater Park is 1/2 mile away. Alpine offered the ideal setup for us, affording motel rooms, large & small lodges (more like Air B&Bs), and RV and tent spaces - plus outdoor and indoor areas for group dining, fire pits, and some limited recreation (the indoor "Pavilion"). Something for everyone! The motel rooms were upgraded, with a forest/country theme. The owner and staff bent over backwards to accommodate us in every way. We were totally pleased and highly recommend this place.

Staff collects trash every morning and also will refill propane tanks for you if you leave the tank out, you just have to pay for the propane! We chose to get a group site as there were 3 groups in our party. The group site consisted of 4 sites forming a box around shared grass (shown in photo). Full hookups including a direct dump spot on your site! There are plenty of solo sites which each have their own grass patch (pro tip - sites around spot 77 offer a view of the river!). super dog friendly with stations throughout the park for bags and waste trash cans. The main lobby has free popcorn available for self serve. Very nice pool, hot tub and sauna, as well as a mini fitness area and showers located to the left of the lobby. 8pm-10pm is reserved for adults only. Bathrooms were literally the nicest i have ever seen (super clean!) with each private stall having a shower, sink, toilet and complimentary bathmats. bathmats only ran out once in the 4 times i used the shower. There is also access to the river from the campsites and areas for fly fishing! Full time residents stay here as well :) Overall we really enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay again!

The common grass area in the middle was ideal to gather around and let our dogs hang out (on leashes). It was like our own little camping area. The bathrooms were the best I've ever seen camping! Individual bathrooms with showers equipped with bath mats! Very clean and the water pressure was excellent! 6 bathrooms in our area with the laundry room. A short walk from our camp site. The main check-in area had a club house with a pool/spa (adults only 18 and up from 8-10pm) with a lounge. They had some entertainment at nights (scheduled). Free popped popcorn all day, help yourself which was just like what you get at the movies - yum! RV Park is dog friendly and has a dog park and has dog areas and poop bags/dispensers thought out the park. It is close to the river so some spots have a river view and you are able to walk to the river and fish. Really loved our stay and will be back next year! Highly recommended!

That kind of customer service is hard to find. The place was very clean, the water was perfect, and the massage water pipe in the pool was awesome. We spent a lot of time just relaxing under it. You can tell they really take pride in keeping the facility clean and making sure guests have a great experience. We'll definitely be back. We reserved 2 nights at the Ridgeview campsite last minute. We are in no way camping experts much…read moreless own an RV (yet) but really wanted to check out the lake, campsites and the surrounding area. We read that this one had flush toilets and showers and we managed to reserve campsite #184 right near the facilities. We arrived a little after 1:00 and got set up right away. We went in the middle of the week right before Memorial Day so it wasn't full. Everyone had an RV and I only saw one other family tent camping. We bought the $5/bundle firewood which came with about 5 logs and it was enough for a few hours. I assume RV'ers bring their own! We hiked by the lake and the views are beautiful, there's even a little beach area. Pets are not allowed on the sand but you can bring them as long as they're leashed. The restroom/shower facilities were spotless but they close for cleaning from 1-2:30 daily. See my photos. Only 2 showers were open this time of the year, so it's best to go early in the evening. I ended up waiting about 15 minutes before a shower opened up. Unfortunately, it started raining in the middle of the night and the tent started leaking, so we cut our trip short and packed up at 0600. We only got to hang out for less than a day but it was still worth it to see the lake and scenic drive.
