Foods good - had it a few times. I went it to pick up a Doordash order and before I even walked in some girl at the register "what do you want," with so much attitude. I was like ?????? Told her I was there to pick up a Doordash and she was like "yeah go down there ," meanwhile, i' ve never been inside so IDK where the hell i'm going. She sees me trying to figure out where to go, and comes back with another "it's still down there!" So weird & so rude. IDK what bug crawled up her butt but it was uncalled for. Found this great place driving by trying to find other restaurant and I am glad I found it, it's really delicious, I got the Cuban sandwich the pull pork was so flavorful and tender. I stopped off at this location for the first time because I knew their dining room would not be closed and because I know their menu well. I ordered the Classic Grilled Chicken Sandwich which comes on a croissant. I didn't have to hold any ingredients because there weren't any exotic ones on it. I'm not a fan of honey mustard sauce but this sandwich was not overwhelmingly covered in it. It was a light application just enough to compliment the sandwich as it should be. For my side I chose the Potato Salad. Both items were excellent! The sandwich will be a new favorite of mine to reorder the next time. I arrived before the lunch rush and had plenty of choices for a table. By the time I left, it was somewhat crowded and the tables were filling up fast. Wow, we really liked the salads we got from this place! The southwest chicken salad was very fresh and a good size. The avocado was actually fresh, real avocado. We tried the chipotle ranch and honey mustard dressing and I liked both of them honestly - The honey mustard was nice and sweet and tangy and the chipotle ranch wasn't spicy but kind of smoky. We heated up the chicken at home (just personal preference) and add a little bit of pepper. I've never been to this chain before but it's definitely a nice go-to in a convenient location for me, and I would be interested in checking out their specials. The staff was also friendly when we picked it up, and it looked like a nice place to eat inside honestly, with lots of booths and private space. read more

That was delicious! I ordered the Savannah salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing, sweet tea and chocolate chip cookie. The salad is huge! And no one has a better sweet tea and chocolate chip cookie. If you're a fan of baked potatoes, McAlister's also offers great options. I'm staying overnight in Columbus and McAlister's offered delivery for a small fee, plus tip (making it about $5 more than picking it up). The online ordering system was easy to understand and gave me an opportunity to include requests. My two requests were delivered - nice! GrubHub brought it to me direct to my door within the estimated time. I also was able to use the Yelp app to see a live status on my order. The only request I'd make is to get a copy of my receipt with the order (for an expense report) but I can use the email confirmation. read more

I usually go here at least once a week. Love the Rachel sandwich. The service is quick and friendly.

I wanted to get some dinner but didn't feel like going in. We had an hour drive ahead of us so I downloaded the app and ordered the food. Something I noticed about the app is that a cup of water wasn't never an option for it. Kind of weird. The app was easy to use but I did call ahead of time to request two cups of water. I wouldn't say that the staff was overly friendly--in fact, she was quite short. Our meal was delivered VERY quickly and was delicious. They forgot napkins, which stinks...but we managed. They do offer gluten free bread here. I had a Turkey sandwich and it was delicious and tasted fresh. My daughter had a Turkey and cheese sandwich (minus the cheese) and chips. I usually go for their French Dip or Chicken Bacon Spud.They have such a big menu that I want to try everything eventually. I'd also recommend trying their sweet tea that they're known for. 1st off it's tough to fine devious meals without meat and I get tired of the same ole stuff. This last time I had the veggie sandwich. Omg! Delicious! I had the Roasted Veggie Soup and 1/2 Four Cheese sandwich. The grilled cheese was good though it could have been more toasted. But the Roasted Veggie soup was spectacular! I don't use that word lightly. I'm not even normally a soup person. But this cup of soup just made my day. It's a little chilly outside and the soup was a perfect hot/warm temperature and the charred veggie taste had a warm depth too. Perfection!! read more

Came here on their first day open, just after the lunch rush. Place was still packed, but I got immediate service, and the food was delivered to my table quickly and correctly. That's awesome for a first day! The place is brand new and very nice, with a mixture of warm woods and trendy tile. New to me for McAlisters is a 'Tea Bar', which is a place set aside and staffed just to pour beverages. This alleviates some of the burden on Cashier staff that I've experienced at other locations. Food was great. McAlisters is a chain franchise so the menu here is identical to all other locations. I had some of my favorites today and they were spot on. So, this place is off to a great start and I suspect I will be spending a lot of money here in the future :) read more

I'm basing this review only on their carry out catering. I ordered boxed lunches for an office the day before I needed to pick them up and the woman helping me was very sweet and made sure everything was perfect. The day I went to pick them up, they were ready and on time. Each lunch looked great and well priced for all the food it included! I was helped out by one of the managers who was super friendly and personable. I will be using McAlister's again for any future lunch catering needs! read more

Very nice restaurant! The inside was clean and a lot of seating area. Even though the prices seem a bit high, you get a lot of food for the price so worth it! I had the half French dip and half Spud Max, so delicious! My husband had the Reuben, I've never tried one until now. It was so good! I want to go back and have a Reuben! And the iced tea station the sweet tea was amazing! We will be back very soon! And the employees were very nice! We were checked on a couple times to see if we needed refills. Right when we got to our table, an employee brought us a sling for our son's car seat. Great service! read more

I enjoy McAlisters Deli..the restaurant was clean, the staff friendly and the food was good. I do however think they are slightly overpriced. We went for lunch because kids meals $2.79 but we still ended up spending $35 for a family of 5..2 adults, 3 kids we got 2 half and half meals, one soda, 3 kids meals with only water. I can't believe this is only my second time at a McAlister's. I am not a big sandwich fan but we needed a quick place to eat. I ordered the Tortilla Soup and 1/2 chicken salad sandwich. Soup had a kick which I really liked. What I really liked about the Chicken Salad was there wasn't huge chunks of celery present. We were in and out quick and it was good. I probably need to explore their menu a little more and see what else I might like. read more

McAlister's Deli is a great addition to Columbus. I went the second day they opened, and for a new and busy restaurant, it was surprisingly quick. The staff seemed well-trained and even helped me find a table in the crowded restaurant. Food was classic McAlister's fare with the delicious sandwiches, soups, salads, and giant spuds. My favorites include the Horseradish Roast Beef and Cheddar, Savanah Chopped Salad, and the Chicken Tortilla soup. Disgusting place. It took 30 minutes to get my overpriced food. Every table was dirty. The girl in the back was touching her mask and then going back to making food. The place should be shut down by the health department or take the masks off. My stuff and straight in the trash can. Who knows what kind of disease is on the mask. read more

Stopped in on a Sunday evening. Trash was located in the planters out front--no trash cans due to covid, I guesss--but lord, clean it up. Only one table was occupied. Many tables had not been cleared, restroom trash was over flowing (in both RR--my wife was with me). Paper and ripped salt and sugar packets were all over the floor. It had not be swept in some time. It is not like they were slammed. It was disgusting...we left. Not again... read more

Food was good but first you have to put up with a lot of rudeness. I greeted THEM and not one employee spoke to me back. In fact two of them then turned their backs on me. One started sweeping and after two minutes standing there while employees restocked cups, the sweeper kid finally took my order with no smile nor hello. I was the only one in line to order. Then a large man behind the counter in an orange T-shirt took a napkin, wiped his ENTIRE sweaty face with it. Threw it away and then turned around and handled fresh food plates coming out of the kitchen.
