After the product arrived at the store, the installers, Kevin and Matthew, made arrangements with us to begin the install. It actually surprised us how quickly they were able to start. After a thorough clean up of the carpet and subfloor, they very professionally began installing the new floor. They were very meticulous in their work. It was amazing to watch. By the way, they were both very personable as well as professional. As the laying of the flooring was proceeding, the appearance was taking on a look that did not fully jive with what we had seen in the pictures. Kevin did not like it either. On his own initiative, he called the home office from his truck. He then informed us that he was not satisfied with the results and that we would get a call to arrange a time to choose a different flooring. Upon arrival of the new flooring, Kevin and Matthew picked up the original product and laid down the new flooring and finished the project. The end result is simply fabulous. Everyone at The Flooring Department was most concerned with fairness, caring, doing the right thing, and professionalism. I am looking forward to engaging them in the near future for addition projects. I simply cannot say enough good things about them.

David Paul Flooring not only sent me FREE samples (No other flooring seller did that! I spent sooooo much on samples!) they got the samples to me asap, and the sales girl, Kristen, even put the CEO, Dave, in touch with me to make sure that the order was filled quickly. My Exalt Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) arrived right on time and the installation was very quick. No glue or chemicals were needed as each piece snapped together. I even put it in my basement for a rec-room/ bar area/ laundry area and have spilled drinks and water on it and there hasn't been an issue! Exalt is great with water and moisture. I spoke with quite a few flooring companies and their sales departments all left something to be desired. David Paul Flooring is a small, family-owned company and you can tell from the level of customer service that they provide. I was a wreck over what the other company did to me. When the job was finished, they said that if the issue comes back Victor Furniture would fix it under warranty. Well... a few months later, the same wrinkle re-appeared. It took multiple calls to get a response from Amanda, their contact. When I told Amanda they originally fixed it, she said we would have to pay AGAIN. Finally, after explaining we were told it was covered from a repair this year, they agreed it was under warranty, but on the service date no one showed up. They I had to spend multiple calls trying to get someone to come out. When they did, they told me that it would be hundreds of dollars to fix. I'm really disappointed with their service.
