Well, long story short it got paved the week befor Thanksgiving. Thats to late in the year. Half the driveway came out like crap. I called with my concerns and was polite and patient the whole time. He said it was the quality of the ashfalt and sometimes that happened. He offered to seal coat for no charge later the following year. I was satisfied with that. After a few months into summer I sent him a text asking if he was still going to do it . He said he had not forgot about me. Never showed. Be careful! He came to look at the sidewalk, gave me a reasonable quote, and the sidewalk job was completed a week later. Toby and his crew worked hard all day and did an excellent job, leaving us with a beautiful new sidewalk. We have hired him to come back in about a month to reseal our driveway, and I am sure Toby and his crew will do a great job with that also. These are good people who work hard and do excellent work!

Robert and his people refinished several rooms of red oak hardwood flooring in our house back in…read more2013. Many sections had been stained by pets and plants over the years when it had been covered by carpet. I don't believe that the floors had been refinished since the house was built in the 1960s. They did a great job refinishing the floors and replacing the stained slats while matching the color and randomness of the wood. He kept his schedule, informed us of the options beforehand, and when problems arose (like old boards that didn't look bad until after the sealer was applied), he just made sure that they were fixed. We had gotten several estimates and his was the most reasonable. So this year when we decided to install new matching hardwood in a room that didn't have hardwood, we called him and he came within a couple days to give us an estimate. We didn't bother getting other estimates, we just had him put us on his schedule. He and his crew came and installed the floor and finished it, and made it all fit with the preexisting flooring. Some defects did show up in a couple slats and he just came back and fixed them without any trouble. He made it all look right. We had him come back a couple months later after we had picked out some tile for the hearth extension and he installed the tile as well. We had an entirely positive experience with Rob Petit and his team, and I am happy to recommend them.

He is very upfront and walked me through each phase and again embraced me for the dust that would travel through out the house even with the plastic tarps taped up to capture it all. August of 2023, i replaced my 109 year old water line and buried the electric and cable lines. A lot of digging and trenching left an already aging driveway in terrible shape. Gravel had to be added before the paving began. This was only a section of driveway that had to be replaced, the apron at the bottom of the driveway was repaved after NYSEG replaced the gas line. The crew that showed up was most impressive, Tim the owner, William, Quincy, Molique, Marty and Brittany. Everyone knew their job and when finished with their task would step up and help their co workers.
