Since it was during a holiday, I didn't want to bother them too much, but I didn't receive any updates for nearly three weeks. When I finally called to check the status, the owner told me they couldn't repair it. While I understand that not every repair is possible, I would have preferred to be informed sooner so I could retrieve my laptop. Later that same day, the owner called back and said they might be able to source a donor laptop to swap parts and asked for an additional two weeks. I agreed to give them more time. However, after the promised 2 weeks, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called again. The owner didn't have an update and asked me to call back the next day. When I did, the owner became upset, claiming he had told me to call back at noon, which he ABSOLUTELY had not. Why does it take a day just to check the status anyways? BTW I called at 11:50 am! Are you F ing kidding me you are upset for 10 minutues (which I was not even aware of) after a month of no response? His reaction was VERY unprofessional. He then calls me for the first time at 12:00 pm to tell me they still couldn't fix the laptop. I picked up my laptop and took it to an old friend who used to do repair work. Even though he's semi-retired and farther away, he diagnosed the issue correctly and had the laptop running again within three days. This may have been an isolated experience, but I highly recommend you avoid this place. I won't be returning!

I went in for Sony 70-200m GM II lens and saved a lot of money. Cause he priced matched and was able to hook me up. I didn't even pay close to retail. You have no idea the elation of knowing there's someone out there that can come and set up or fix any tech. I've been the reluctant IT person at home with moderate success until I reached my capacity with my new mesh system that simply wasn't meshing. I got it all set up & working for a couple weeks, tossed the box, and within the return period (no box anymore so can't return) the 2 satellites stopped satelliting. Problems started after I struggled getting my printer to re-connect, then did the whole unplug/turn off/reboot/ update firmware thing, and the Orbi dropped it's out satellites and 2 of my Sonos speakers. Somehow the rest of the devices stayed connected so it was tolerable until Paul came out next day. At least I have no shame since it took nearly 2 hours to fix, but fix it he did. FWIW, Orbi is not the mesh system to get. It's glitchy & problematic. EERO is the recommended way to go. Orbi gets one more chance, then off it goes to the wifi router farm in the country with all the other wifi routers where it can romp & play in the land of oddball wifi routers. But I digress, 5-stars, 10/10, highly recommend Tech Trekkers.

For the laptop, PC, they were able to restore the operating system, and it got it back to me cleaned. Even the WiFi issue was resolved. Most impressive was my MacBook Pro. It had been dropped, so there was a dent in the chassis. This time the battery was not working. In replacing the battery repaired the chassis as well. They have a plethora of other laptops and monitors that are heavily discounted. I strongly suggest taking a look at the options and any repairs to breathe new life into your computers.
