Also, the cold water stopped working in my shower, making the shower unusable. I lost my husband this year and am never sure about what to do when things go wrong in the house, since I never had to address those problems in the past. I called 1-Tom and they made me feel completely confident about my choice. Right from the start, I liked the fact that they answered the phone and I didn't have to keep pushing buttons to get to the right person. I was told that they stood behind all their work and they would make sure I was satisfied with the outcome. Before Alex came to my home, I received a photo of him. He was confident and friendly and I immediately felt I was in good hands. Originally it looked like it was going to be a bad situation with the toilet and that the floor might have to be torn up. Alex showed me what the problem was and I could now see why the toilet couldn't be installed correctly in the first place. Alex called his boss and discussed what needed to be done. He was able to do it without damaging the floor, which was a huge relief. I trusted that 1-Tom did the best job possible for me while avoiding major repairs. They have saved my life twice! Came on a Sunday when my…read morepipes froze! Brought big commercial heaters. Worked tirelessly to find the frozen spot. And I used a different plumber last year to fix a drip in the shower set. Well, the guy fixed the drip but then there was no pressure. I had to turn the hot on full and hardly anything came out. So I couldn't get a good shower. I called the guy back. He came but. Said I had to open the wall and put a new set. WTF!?!? From fixing a washer to tearing up a wall??? Well, I called Quogue Plumbing to save me again. Bruce came by, took off the handle, looked inside and took out the broken washer that the other plumber didn't take out!!! He saved my wall.
