This was my first time here due to a referral from a family friend. I booked an appointment with Sandra who owns the nail salon. She is so sweet and kind and exudes great customer service. I came in for a full set with a slight coffin shape. I'm a huge square shape lover so this time around I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and try something different. I've seen very dramatic coffin shapes before and I was very clear I only wanted a little bit of a coffin shape. I also asked for very thin and natural powder added to my nails. I got an infection the same day after getting a pedicure here. The facility was clean, but the problem was the service itself. The woman was very rough when clipping my nails. She ripped a hang nail all the way down QUICKLY like she was taking off a bandaid, ripping my skin in the process. It was hard to relax and enjoy the service because of how much pain I was in. Later that night, the toe that had skin ripped was inflamed, bleeding and had clear liquid leaking from a blister-like wound caused by the employee. read more

Second time coming here. I was very impressed with the quality of work from my first visit (day after Mother's day). My pedicure still in tact and same with my manicure with the exception of the natural growth. Have not peeled or anything - I also do not pick at my nails which helps. LiLi is the gal I've gone to these two times for the manicure. Don't remember the gal who did my pedicure. My gel manicure (on my natural nails) cost me $20 not including tip. Their board of prices says $25? I'm not complaining. They're also cheaper than my usual nail spot. I definitely love this place they do great work and they take their time and don't rush because they see people coming. However the only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because the first time I went here one lady did my nails and did not paint the sides of my nails properly and today when I went in they made me pay ahead of time but did not make two other women pay before services which I found to be a little odd but whatever I just paid and made them fix it over and over until I was satisfied fully. Sometimes they can be a little slow but I rather have great quality so it does not bother me. This has to be my favorite nail salon! However it's always super busy and across town from me so it's sort of a drive to get there! I always had a different nail technician work on my nails and every time, my nails come out perfect regardless who is working on my nails. Depending who you go to they definitely tip themselves! 2 weeks ago I went to get a gel manicure with gel polish removal and it was $25 and i tipped $4. I went again to another lady and she charged me $30 for the same exact service gel polish removal and gel manicure. Paid the $30 with no tip. Also they are really rude when you try to ask them to fix something about your nails. Sorry but if I'm paying especially overpaying for this service then it should not be a problem. I'm not super nit picky either, it's mostly obvious fixes that they are to lazy to fix. This is my go to nail salon. Sandy is usually the only one I let do my mani and pedis and I've been going to her for over a year and half. She knows exactly what I like. Very sweet lady. Everyone in the salon is always polite and friendly. I've tried many nail salons in Sacramento, Elk Grove and Roseville area and this may not be all fancy inside they get the job done. This is by far the best experience I've had at a nail salon!!!! I wanted to get a full set and didnt want to drive too far out. Found this spot on yelp and it is only down the street from my house. I stepped in the shop, was immediately greeted by one of the techs there. They sat me down for a pedicure and did my full set simultaneously. Sandra did my full set and I absolutely love my nails now. I got acrylic coffin gel nails. I didnt get the name of the tech that did my pedicure but she was super gentle and very thorough. I really appreciated that they checked in with me to see if I liked what they were doing to my nails and if I wanted them to fix anything before going onto the next step! This has to be my favorite place to come to. They are cheaper then most places and provide the same great service if not better! The shop is nice and clean and everyone who works here is friendly. If you tell them what you want they will give you that. I mostly come for pedicures, and I am never disappointed with the end result. 5 out of 5 stars because of great results, clean shop, and welcoming atmosphere. Only comment I would like to add is that this place does get busy and wait times can vary from 10-45mins, so it's best to make an appointment if you don't want to wait! I didn't have such a great experience with this shop. I recently moved to the area and came to Yelp for help, and with the reviews I gave it a try. I paid $40 for a full acrylic set with gel, average price. However, I've never had problems with my nails like I had with this set. Two days after getting them one nail completely cracked off and another nail was split. I went in that next Monday to have them fixed. I gave them two stars because they fixed them without charging, but really the "fix" was even worse. The two nails were thick and uneven, and the gel wasn't set right so they looked cracked. About a week later I noticed all the nails were lifting... Since then one has popped off and another cracked off and is only been two weeks. I won't be returning and I'm embarrassed to even go into another nail salon with this crap my hands read more

First time going in and I had a terrible experience! I simply wanted a full set (long nails) with regular nail polish and they didn't have many polish options. They took an HOUR AND A HALF on my nails, keep in mind I ended up leaving after just the acrylic part. They charged me $30 on a set w/ no nail polish! My mother in law recommended this place to me. Lily did my gel manicure and Jennifer did my pedicure. Both ladies did a very good job and I appreciate the attention to detail they both gave to my nails. Jennifer took the extra time to make sure my feet was smoothed out and doubled check everything before finalizing the top coat. Lily took her time to shape my nails and cut the cuticles. I came in to get a mani pedi thirty minutes before their closing time and they were still willing to accommodate to me with no bad attitude. Great! I quickly informed them I was Vietnamese before they started chit chatting away in Vietnamese like I don't understand them, which tends to bug me. Two ladies stayed back and did my nails while the rest left home. They were very nice and gentle, one did my french tip manicure and one did my pedicure. I believe it was Amy who did my manicure and I thought she did a fantastic job on my nails! Compared to the other nail shops I've been to, I think this is the best manicure I've ever received. I told her I didn't want them too long and she cut them at the perfect short length and the tips are nicely filed down and shaped and the fiberglass wasn't too thick. As for my pedicure, my tips weren't really nicely shaped but it's not that noticeable and she gently massaged my legs and feet, scrubbed it and everything! The shop had a nice interior and they had several pedicure chairs that looked up to date. The ladies conversated with me as well, that it's nice to have a young person that's born here and that's able to speak good Vietnamese for there isn't much nowadays, which I thought was so sweet! Everything came to be $45. The plaza where this shop is located isn't so shabby either. I was planning to go to the one across the street where Food Source is at but it was gloomy and old looking there so I came here instead. Glad I did for I will definitely be coming back! read more
