This time we nearly had it every day, and for 8€ a bowl you can't blame me. Must try is the pappardelle ragu, portions are enough to share for two. And be sure to eat it on the stoop of the restaurant for the full experience! Expect your hot and fresh pasta ready in 3-5 mins on a busy day.
We chose this spot because it had a lot of reviews and maintained a good score. Perks of this spot…read moreare that it's affordable with each pasta bowl costing about €7.50 and the bowls are fairly large. Even though the line is long, you can get your meal quickly because the team works very fast and efficiently. The spot has limited seating so most people eat outside, either standing up or sitting on the curb. Menu is limited to 6 options and everything is handmade, so you can't go wrong here. The noodles have a nice, thick, chewy texture and come with plenty of sauce. Only downside for me was that most dishes didn't come with meat and I usually like to have a little with each meal.

MONDIAL PIZZA! MONDIAL PIZZA! MONDIAL PIZZA!…read more One night during a protest, some students were screaming that off their balcony with a megaphone. No rhyme or reason. Just Mondial Pizza. I loved this place when I was studying abroad in Rome. This was like....OUR drunken, broke, last minute pizza/kebab place where we could also grab a $2 bottle of wine to end the night with. Get the take out pizza and eat the whole thing yourself when you need to cure a hangover. Or get the kebab with fries, ranch and a little bit of spciy sauce. That'll do the trip too. I recommened this to all of the students studying abroad in Trast - you'll love it as much as I did.

We…read morerandomly stumbled into here for a quick bite without realizing it is the viral fancy McDonald's. First you walk through a hallway of Roman statues and plaques, which take you into a spacious dining hall. They have a full bakery section and plenty of seating. I got to try a few Italy speciality items like the Spinach & Parmigiano Croquettes (3 for €2.69) and Tiramisu (€2.90). When in Europe, you can always order a beer at McDonald's too, which is a treat for adults. The best of all, I was able to score the viral beach towel from here while it's been sold out everywhere else!

I was surprised by the selection of pastries and goodies, I didn't try those, but maybe better than the warm selection. I hate to say this but even if it is McDonald's... the quality could be much better. Also, I don't like when places waste packaging. I ordered a bottle of water with my meal and they gave me two bags because they wanted to put the bottled water in a cup holder and then into a bag. There is a yummy restaurant just behind and to the right of this place with really affordable quality food, I would go there first!

I did have a little problem because they were so busy I think they could've been a little faster with cleaning the dining room, but everybody was very nice the Wi-Fi was very fast and I couldn't believe the way you can get the upscale desserts for a fraction of the cost of I was at a coffee shop. I also was impressed with the amount of customers and they had chicken wings. It's hard to find them in this town.
