The steady menu is always very consistent quality. The service is great, like you must be friendly to work there. The ambiance is drive-in with a slight touch of diner. The burgers remind me of a hybrid between Great State and Dick's Burgers. The shakes are uh-maz-ingggg. They also serve Dole whip, Whizzers (Blizzards), Sundaes, floats, and cones (including swirl! McDonald's doesnt even do that anymore). They also have fish, they make their own homemade chowder (yet to try), sandwiches, etc. My kids learned to like white fish by trying the fish here. Not my liking, but they enjoy it quite a bit. All the sides and extras are excellent. I wish the Mac and cheese bites were less zesty and more salty, but I'm a dreamer. Wally's has sold or is selling ownership, so I hope they remain the same general quality and taste they've had since I first started going here. Until quality, service, or something showstopping changes we'll continue to enjoy our meals there. Definitely recommend eating at Wally's.

The first 3 or 4 bites were very dense and hard to chew, with a texture bordering on a day old breadstick with cinnamon and sugar. The next 2 bites were surprisingly delicious and exactly how I imagine a Churro should taste with a crisp outside and warm inside that's soft and with some airy texture to it. But then the remaining bites/last third had the whole bottom extremely hard, which was incredibly difficult to chew. The inconsistency I'm sure boils down to the simple fact of it being microwaved before serving. I would avoid this Churro. I didn't get a picture of the pretzel but mom and I split it and that was actually pretty darn fantastic and delicious. It was pipping hot and had a soft and enjoyable texture when biting into it. It even came with small cup of honey mustard for dipping. Very oily though! But yea, I would recommend that pretzel as it turned out pretty good. I have to believe if I were to get a sub here my rating wouldn't be so low but man, I just can't get the disappointment out of my memory trying to eat the Churro. Going from excitement to disappointment when you're treating yourself is a huge blow. This Churro idea isn't good in my opinion. Definitely more of a gimmick. The service was incredibly friendly and hospitable. Food took about 10min to make but I know it was made to order, which I prefer. I ordered a gyro $11, Greek fries and side of hummus. Absolutely fabulous prices. Don't tell the owner but they could sell that gyro for $4 more and I bet they'd still sell like crazy. There aren't many other Mediterranean restaurants in the area. Both were scrumptious and the Greek fries were the best I've ever had. Each fry was still hot and crisp. The cool feta, dressing, olives and peppers make it a nice balanced bite with so many flavors. We will definitely be back, I'm already looking forward to it. And if they move locations in the meantime, I'll find em!

I placed my order online and went into the store to pick it up. While waiting, I noticed two…read morecustomers who arrived about five minutes after me were served and left about seven minutes before I even received my to-go order. When I finally got my food and returned home, I found that my order was incorrect -- despite requesting extra mayo, it was not added. I called the store to explain the situation and simply asked for a refund. Instead of addressing this straightforward request, the shift manager (Lily) asked me to bring the sandwich back to the store to "verify" it. I found this to be unreasonable and disrespectful -- as if I would go out of my way to falsely claim a missing condiment. While still on the call, I could hear Lily and her coworkers laughing in the background. She then claimed she didn't know how to process a refund because the "refund button wouldn't work." To make matters worse, she said she could "write my name down and let the manager know tomorrow," but there was no sincerity in her voice and no confidence that anything would actually be handled. It felt like a brush-off that would be forgotten -- a reflection of her inept ability to do her job and deliver basic customer service. Ultimately, I had to drive back to the store in person, which was entirely avoidable if my concern had been handled properly over the phone.
