We're looking at putting in a cocktail tree (one trunk with 5 different stone fruit grafted to it). THEY HAVE IT!! It seems everything i need they have!! Star Jasmine? Yup! The Garden Mart is awesome! We were looking to re-plant a large area in our backyard and our normal…read morenursery was not open. We did a quick google search and found that the Garden Mart was open. We stopped by and they had a great selection of plants to choose from. We asked lots of questions and they had all the answers. We were told to contact Nick to help us finalize our ideas for the area in our backyard. Nick was able to come out pretty quickly and take a look at the space we were working with. We had some ideas as far as colors and possible plants we wanted to include. Nick was able to make lots of good recommendations on specific plants to put in certain areas of the yard. We then met with Nick at the nursery to look at the plants that he recommended. We went with most of what he selected and chose a couple of other plants to add to the mix. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. Nick came to our house a week later with a truck full of the plants we had talked about. He plotted them all out where he thought they'd do best and had us confirm it was what we wanted. Nick was able to get all of the plants in the ground the same day (between 30 - 40 plants). We were very happy with the finished product. We talked with Nick after the job was complete and he recommended contacting them in September (the planting happened in early July). He said he'd come back out and take a look at the plants after they'd had a few months to bloom and see if they needed any attention. That is a company that stands behind their work. Overall, the experience with the Garden Mart was great. Everyone we dealt with and talked to was very friendly and easy to work with. We'll stop buying plants at the big hardware stores and keep shopping at the Garden Mart.

When I walk-up to the cashier later to be known manager/owner I ask him the price for the bunch, hey says they have different prices and asked me to wait and so we did. While waiting I was comparing the dress color with the coral roses and showing my brother whom is the florist if it match it really did. He comes out and says that the coral roses are not available and I asked him why if they were with the others and not set aside. He said "I didn't invite you to my cooler." I replied "I didn't know that you had to ask for permission because the last time I came I didn't." The worker had not informed me that I needed permission to enter, instead he helped me pick out the roses that later were not available to me. "Can you make an exception for this time.: He says "no, if you keep persisting I will not sell you anything. I said why? He could had offer other roses maybe another slightly different color. But he decides to pushe the cart away and said that I was annoying. Slams the window and refuses to Sell me flowers. It felt horrible and I didn't where else to go. I'm glad that I experience this incident someway because I wouldn't want to treat my customers like this at all. I understand that he may have had a bad day or just didn't like me, but he shouldn't have to treated or reacted aggressive and unprofessional. Horrible.....horrible experience been to kitayama in hayward & watsonville san francisco flower market and never ever experienced this kind of service. I felt discriminated. Prices do fluctuate depending on what's in season and what they have available, but they had a really good variety to choose from. I placed my order through email about 3 weeks before the wedding and got flowers for arrangements, boutonnieres, and corsages. I went in person to pick everything up and everyone was really nice. All my flowers were there and ready to go. Just a heads up, you do need to bring your own buckets to transport the flowers, so make sure you have those ready. The flowers were really good quality and everything turned out so pretty.
