I completely understand that mistakes happen, and I apologized right away, but the employee spoke to me in a way that made me feel talked down to and embarrassed. She took the plant and walked away before I could say anything else or ask where I could find similar ones that were available. It was an honest misunderstanding, and I wish it had been handled with a little more kindness. The interaction made the experience uncomfortable enough that we decided to check out with what we had and leave rather than continue shopping. That said, the nursery has a beautiful selection of plants and a lovely space. I'm hoping this was just an off moment, and I'd be happy to give it another try in the future.
