The staff is friendly and helpful. There is great selection of vehicles. It is nice to deal with a small, local dealership.

I tried to keep this review concise, but there's a lot of writing here as I attempt to provide…read moretransparency and fairness. I hope this is helpful to potential ZAG Motors customers, and ZAG Motors themselves. -- After finding the exact vehicle / package that I wanted (2017 Subaru Outback Limited) on Edmunds.com, I contacted ZAG Motors and made an appointment to go check it out on 2nd January. Before I left home, I ran the CarFax which noted minor cosmetic damage but was otherwise clean. The mileage was a little high but I knew it'd been serviced regularly so wanted to check it out. Unexpectedly I became free on the 1st January so I showed up (purposefully) unannounced a day early and found the vehicle on the lot. It had clearly not been driven for a while with recent snow still on it. Excellent chance to hear/see it fired up for the first time in a while. The Sales Associate, Chuck, came to greet me and went off to get the key when he heard that I was interested. The vehicle started immediately, from cold, and I checked it out as best I could. Chuck pulled up the CarFax and mentioned to me what I already knew about the cosmetic damage. I've been burned at other places by Car Dealerships not disclosing all the details, so I was glad to hear this. 200 yards into our first attempt at a test drive, I noted that the fuel tank was right at empty so we cut the test drive short, Chuck happily got it filled up, and we took it out for a necessary second drive where I enjoyed a little extra time to check that the vehicle drove as I hoped it would. Before I left to test drive other Outbacks I'd seen online at other dealerships, Elmer (Sales Manager) came to greet me and attempted to talk numbers on the trade-in of my truck. I declined that knowing that I could come back if I wanted. A few hours later after driving a few other models, I returned to ZAG Motors because ultimately, this was the exact model and package that I wanted. By this time, I had talked numbers at a few other locations and knew what I wanted to pay for the Subaru, and knew what I'd accept for my truck. The Outback had been on ZAG's lot for a while and I was optimistic that we could make it work. I'm not all that experienced at buying used cars and I had read the not-exactly-gleaming Yelp reviews on ZAG Motors, so I quietly cautioned myself to be wary. My wife was home with our kiddos but we kept in constant contact and it was helpful to have her sanity check. I got the price I wanted for the Outback. This was the Winter Sales price, even though the website had it listed as returning to the original higher price. And, I got what I wanted for my truck. This did take some work on my part, pulling up Kelley Blue Book value and CarFax appraisals. Elmer worked pretty hard to knock me down a little but I stood firm. It helped being prepared to walk away at any time I wanted, and knowing what I'd been offered elsewhere. It probably also really helped that I showed up on a bleak cold 1st of January (Saturday) where few people were out shopping for cars. I walked into ZAG Motors for the first time at ~3:30pm and departed with my new car at the end of my return visit at ~9:30pm, some 1.5hrs after they were supposed to have closed. In all that time, Chuck (Sales Associate) and Elmer (Sales Manager) were friendly and warm. I did feel a little pushed to trade in my truck for less than I wanted (half a star reduction) but I knew I could stand firm and I didn't feel *overly* pushed, if that makes sense. The other half a star reduction is because the next day, Chuck called to tell me that there had been an oversight and that there was some paperwork that hadn't been signed, that couldn't be handled electronically, and would I like to a) do this by mail or b) come in and sign it? I wanted to get it figured out ASAP but I live a 2 hour round-trip drive away and I wasn't prepared to do that drive late on a Sunday night. We compromised and Chuck and I both drove 30 minutes and meet up to get the necessary signature. TL;DR I *would* consider buying from ZAG Motors again. I *would* ask to speak to Chuck again. I would only visit ZAG Motors - or any Car Dealership - knowing what value I was bringing in / what purchase price I wanted, etc. Solid four stars.

When I received the truck, there was a 3-5 foot long scratch on the truck, the seat had about a 1 foot long tear, a dog had chewed the door panel and the side mirror was hanging. No plates or paperwork came with the truck and when I paid upfront for everything DMV wise they said it was all taken care of, I arrived at the DMV and they hit me with a 2600$ bill and said nothing was covered. Do not go here it is not worth it. If I could put a 0/5 I would.

The entire experience was relaxed and professional. I never encountered the typical "salesperson" routine. Even the negotiation process often drawn out while someone "checks with the manager" was handled efficiently and wrapped up in just a few minutes. Josh Withey, the finance manager, was equally impressive. The final paperwork process was quick and organized, very different from some of my past dealership experiences. I also appreciated that there was no pressure to purchase add-ons such as extended warranties or ceramic coatings. Because the decision was left entirely to me, I felt comfortable taking the time to consider my options and ultimately chose to add both. Based on my experience with these two gentlemen, I would highly recommend starting your vehicle search at Landmark Motors. Five stars!

He took the time to rework estimates, negotiate costs, provide all the information I needed and make every accommodation possible. He sent me a personal video of the car I was interested in, responded to my messages even on his days off, was willing to arrange transport from over 30 miles away, and stayed multiple hours past closing. Brandon didn't just stay late to complete the sale, but made sure I had everything I needed at every step and even helped set up my phone after locking up and made sure I drove away happy and safe. He showed a genuine interest and care for my needs; I truly felt like more than just another sale, which was beyond pleasant. I had been without a car since November and actively in the market since January with many unfavorable experiences with various dealerships, which was surprising since I was only looking at Subaru. Brandon is the epitome of what I expect from Subaru and truly represents the company's values of being client-centered, showing love and respect to all, and providing enjoyment and peace of mind. I live my life in a way that is deeply rooted in my values and ethics, which is why I have been so passionate about- and loyal to- Subaru for many years now; it's definitely a company I can stand with. Thanks to Brandon, the choice on which Subaru dealership to take my business to was made easy, even before meeting in-person. He is the reason I went to a dealership 36 miles away, rather than the one I have just 6 miles away from home. I truly cannot recommend Brandon enough! I'd also like to note that overall, Olympia Subaru is by far the best Subaru dealership I've had the pleasure of working with, and I've been to quite a few between CA, OR and WA. Everyone was so friendly and helpful with all the good vibes! I got such a kick out of Jesse in finance, such a great sense of humor and actually made the paperwork portion quite fun and as stress-free as humanly possible! If I am ever in the market for another car, I will definitely be returning to Olympia Subaru again-and-again!

The lot was unorthodox and not what I was expecting for a used car dealership. If I were to let apprehension make decisions for me I would have missed a great opportunity to do business with Marius and Justin (I hope I got their names correct). I was greeted in the back of the lot at their office by Marius, who was very warm and friendly. He showed me the car, gave me the keys, and walked away. What a great start. After I inspected the car and found nothing wrong with it I asked him why it was priced so low. He said "People like good deals." After I test drove it, I asked him, "what is the catch?" He simply said, "we have low overhead." Marius seemed genuine and appeared to run a clean and honest business, so he earned my trust. I told him it's sold, and the paperwork was smooth and uncomplicated. I brought our new minivan home to my wife who is elated she now has a car she can tow all 3 kids in, and in luxury that is very high by our standards. The inside and the outside of the car are in very nice condition. The other cars in the lot also seem to be in great shape. Mountain Highway Motors has great taste for cars they like to keep in inventory. Thank you for such a great car buying experience. I look forward to seeing what is in the future for these honest small business owners. -Daniel

Even though I d buy the car, I made the down payment. I was there during the purchase. He was told a LoJack was on the car, but when he tried to start service, LoJack didn't have any info. Finally, after days went by, we got A serial number, but NO installation DATE! Or ANY PROOF that it was on. According to LoJack, they absolutely need BOTH! And LoJack also reports that when it's installed, a welcome packet from LoJack is sent with the car to the dealership. After days of back and forth to get all information, the buyer was notified it was installed on a different Honda. Take it as you will. I was messaged, more than ONCE, from the owner (after the owners invite request on Messenger) that the he ( the 321 Auto OWNER) was coming to get the car, and it was no longer Chris' car. Worst dealership we EVER dealt with, in our multiple experiences buying a car, or the way I was treated personally. I would have reported this earlier, but nervous after the original post. Had 2 surgeries after this happened, and wanted to make sure all the fiasco was over.
