The Embry testing center here was pretty straightforward in terms of booking, getting to the site, and receiving results. Spots were rapidly getting filled while I was browsing at times so I booked the earliest time for the day I wanted, only to find out that they accept non-appointment arrivals too! Despite this, the wait wasn't too long past my scheduled time, around 30 minutes. The line was steady and moved at a decent pace and there were 2 areas set up for testing when you got to the front of the line. The actual testing was simple, quick and painless. The person performing the test was thorough and professional. I anticipated a 2-3 day wait for results but was pleasantly surprised to get a message less than 24 hours later with full details after 48 hours. If needed or wanted, I would get testing done at Embry again. Details: - Testing line entrance from Southern adjacent to football field - PCR and antibody testing for Covid available - Testing done by nasal (Typical) or oral swab - Flu shot also available - Signs on site say masks required - Book online or show up at site - Testing is free of charge - Typical turnaround is 1-3 days through partnering with Sonona Quest - You can schedule and register everyone in your party at one time - Patients under 18 years old should be accompanied by their parent/guardian when coming over for testing

There were a lot of people in the lobby and someone at the front desk seemed frustrated, so I figured I was in for a wait. I checked in at the automated kiosk, sat down, and honestly within about 5 to 8 minutes I was already being called up. I spoke with Anastasia at the front, and she was great. Even though it was clearly busy and she was dealing with upset customers, she stayed friendly, calm, and professional the whole time. You could tell she was handling a lot but still kept a really positive attitude. After that, I only waited another 5 to 8 minutes before getting called back. I was sitting in the chair when Anastasia came in again and said she would be drawing my blood. She was super friendly, quick, and honestly a 10 out of 10 phlebotomist. They are mire like drill sergeants than kindly serving their customers. When the nurses called to tell me my husband's procedures were complete she only instructed me to bring g the car around in 15 mins. I asked her if the Dr. was meeting with my husband to which she said yes. She should have asked if I wanted to be there. Patients are groggy and may not ask questions nor remember. Service was fast and professional…read more I tried to get the same test run by Theranos at Walgreens but they wanted a doctors order and all sorts of private information, so I paid more and went here instead. The test I wanted was $49, results in email within 48 hours. I was in and out within twelve minutes. I was able to get this test run without a doc's order, which is no big deal. Some tests they offer are less or more expensive, they have a list. I paid cash and decided to get anonymous results in my email. The problem with Walgreens is they collect all sorts of private information which they can then sell to whomever. And if Walrgeens gets hacked, which eventually they will, your information is available worldwide. You should always be careful what information you provide to any company, doctor office or hospital. They do not really need your social security number. This place can run tests anonymously. Walgreens won't because they know the cash value of having all that data on you. Protect your information and identity. I'll make this business my go-to stop for all out patient blood work.
