    Build your own lasagna (8.99)

The food was tasty and reasonably priced. I thoroughly enjoyed the "Build your own Lasagna" option. Great place to bring the kids: They have a lunch buffet which includes a drink. The service was good...not fabulous! Waitress may have been having a bad day...it happens. Ambiance: Inside looks fast foodish (like a Pizza Hut) but the outside is pleasantly quaint. I recommend this place

I absolutely LOVE their pizza! I always order carry out and they never disappoint. They offer dine in, carry out and delivery. They have a fantastic selection of food to choose from besides pizza.

Crisp lettuce and many high quality toppings

Pretty incredible salad bar with many fabulous dressings, the ranch in particular is outstanding. See my attached photos, crisp lettuce, pasta, salad, potato salad, diced ham, pudding, black & green olives, large crunchy croutons, the list goes on. Also big bonus they serve Coca Cola products. The manager told me as of August 2024, this is the last Mazzio's in Georgia, and they are known for their weekday lunch buffet. They also have the buffet Tuesday nights. I can't wait to try the buffet next visit, the salad bar is fabulous. My server kept my Coke Zero refilled and was speedy and efficient. A+++

First time in Winder and Mazzios was great. The "works" was on special and we were able to get it on a thin crust. Very good pizza!

Great pizza and super excited about the new Cauliflower pizza. Salad bar is great as well. And this place has literally been around forever.

It's been a while since I have eaten at a down to earth pizza place, takes me back to my childhood. My new favorite place to eat in Winder.

    Ask the Community - Mazzio's

Is this the same as (what used to be) Ken's Pizza? Or did I hear that incorrectly?

Why yes it is. We even have the Ken's Pizza sauce as an option. In 1991 Mazzio's renamed it, same company.

The reviews were iffy but this is a clean place, bar atmosphere with a lot of repeat customers I'm sure, and they're pizza great!! I was taking a break so throw down, sat at the bar and order a beer and ordered a pizza and a calzone to go. It did take a while, but I was happy having a beer or two and chilling on my phone which is what we do these days.. we looked at the pictures online and my son decided to get a calzone with anchovies, pepperoni, and jalapeños!! I thought he was nuts, but this is a huge pie and lasted for two days meals! The crust was perfect he said, and I'd say the same for my pizza. I just got a pepperoni, black olive and mushroom medium pizza and it fed two of us easily and was one of the better pizzas that I've had in a while. We got some mozzarella sticks to snack on as well, which were hot and great cheese pulls . Bartender was fantastic and service was great. Highly recommend !

It gave off great mom and pop vibes. I got the white spinach gf pizza and it was delicious. They brought the amazing looking buttery garlic rolls to start. I couldn't eat them, but the other two said they were amazing. My husband had the Marsala and son had the kids spaghetti with meat sauce. Everything was devoured. I would definitely go again if I'm ever in town again. One comment I will make: I notice there was a written sign in the bathroom saying to throw your paper towels in the trash and not on the floor. Unfortunately, there's no way to keep your hands clean after washing without using the paper towel to open the doorknob. The trash is then out of reach, making the option to put it in the trash impossible if you want to keep hands clean. Which is a must for most especially before eating. The door closes immediately so you can't leave it open while you walk over to the can. I brought my used paper towel out to the table with me after because I don't know what to do with it. Maybe rethink the placement of the garbage so it is next to the door.
