Met up with a couple of ladies I'd grown up knowing both from school and one used to live close to me when we were kids. Haven't seen either of them for at least 40 years! Fortunately, besides horrible Mexican food, Mazzio's was open and sounded like a good place to go. Looked pretty decent from the outside and even nicer off the inside! Spic-n-span, not a piece of trash on the floors anywhere! Looks like everyone wanting to eat out had gone here today as well; since Labor Day is today, most places are closed and losing out on the business they would've raked in over the holiday.... Anyways, we sat down with our friends and started talking....God Bless our poor waitress who came by 3-4 times attempting to take our orders, but we were still playing catch up...she had the patience of Job. The ladies ordered hoagies and fries and 3 of us split a huge salad. My husband ordered a calzone circle and I had wings. Everything was excellent and those had to have been the juiciest, most tender and delicious wings I've ever eaten! The calzone circle probably would've been better if I'd looked at the menu and read them off to him, because his choice was...well...yuck! Ham, bacon and cheddar cheese. Blech! He smothered it in marinara sauce and managed to power thru about 4 pieces and had to quit to eat my wings (you don't think I'd honestly get to keep my food to myself, did you?). We had tons of leftovers and I managed to wrangle the waitress into giving me the bill, which was a very measly amount for 4 people and tons of food going out the door with us! I even gave her a great tip for being so patient and kind to us. All in all, nice place to go with your family. Haven't tried anywhere else in town yet, but there's always tomorrow! First I called & got a recording that the office was closed. Called back & after several rings, no answer. Called again & girl answered on 4th ring. Placed order, told it'd be 30 minutes. Was driving already so went & waited. Paid & used a coupon, was getting 2 mediums, 1 a supreme, the other a 3 topping. $2 off for a medium, could only use on 1 pizza Pizza was ready in bout 20 minutes, not 30, which was good. The 3 topping was ok, have had better from here. The supreme was poorly made, 2-3 slices looked like cheese pizza. Not many toppings at all. Was disappointed & most likely will take my business elsewhere. They weren't that busy it appeared to me. If I was the owner I'd want to know why the phone wasn't being answered! read more

Service and food is amazing! Highly recommend! Especially their calzone ring and chicken Alfredo bake!

Manu was our cashier, he was very helpful and kind. The food was very tasty. We did notice that the place could use a good scrubbing, actually a daily cleaning would be better. read more

This would have been a much higher review if I'd written it before we went to the pay counter and saw the drink station. It was piled with dirty plates. The servers were reaching over partially eaten food to get ice in the glasses. One bump and the old food would be in the ice. Our pizza was excellent. Very crispy and lots of toppings. Our server was very nice and attentive. Our salads were lacking. They were a pile of shredded iceberg lettuce, mozzarella cheese, flavorless tomatoes and fake bacon. We will be back but just for the pizza. We'll bring our own drinks. read more

I ordered full salads for dinner tonight to feed 9 people! I get there and half of a to go container has salad in it and that's it. I spent almost $40 and don't have enough salad to feed everyone. They acted like I was crazy for questioning it. Not happy at all!!! read more

We are visiting our family from out of town and we ordered carry-out. The pizzas / calzone / cinnamon stick deserts were all nicely prepared and delicious. I had some how inadvertently dropped $80 from my wallet / pocket when I went to pick up the order inside. We received a call as I was almost back at my in-laws home letting us know that my money was found by an employee. I returned, the manager was verifying with the video that it was indeed "me" that had been inside and dropped my cash. They returned my money and I was extraordinarily happy by the employees' honesty and integrity to turn the money in. I insisted that a portion of my returned cash be given back to the employees for their good deed. Keep up the great work everyone!!! read more

The staff are always attentive and friendly when I'm in there. Clean, timely and good food. Mostly I order the salad and they are ALWAYS piled with toppings and portions are huge even for a small. Large is definitely a meal or to share. The pizza we get is always thin crust cooked to perfection and loaded with toppings. I definitely suggest the loaded cheese sticks. Their homemade ranch is great on everything they serve. My daughter likes the pasta. My pop loves the calzones. Everyone in the family loves the cinnamon sticks. Growing up, I considered Mazzio's the "high-end" deep dish pizza, as compared to pizza I grew up eating from Pizza Hut, Pizza Inn, or frozen pizzas. Now that I've traveled the country just a little more (having had pizza in Chicago and NYC), I have to lump Mazzio's back with the rest of the franchises...it's nothing special anymore. Part of that is probably because those places like Pizza Hut have also improved their offerings as well. This particular location was decent. It appeared clean, the service was good, and the pizza was ok...but like I said, nothing special. Nothing about the pizza particularly stood out....the crust, sauce, or toppings. But nothing was particularly bad either. These days with delivery dominating the pizza business, sometimes it's nice to have a sit down place. This place fits that decently. read more

Love there pizza! I live in Sheridan so I go regularly its way better then pizza hut down the street where pizza hut had gave me a greasy nasty pizza. Mazzios is family friendly its even has a small arcade for all ages to play while they wait. They have windows all around for a pretty view. They don't have just pizza either, they have pasta,sandwiches,salads,chicken, homemade ravioli,all sorts of things. If you try the sandwich I reccomend the chicken, bacon, and swiss, with fries and a pickle spear. Yum!! You defenitly should try this resteraunt! :) read more

Worst food ever just ate there last nite my kids never turn away food this place was gross. The sever never around, cashier asked me how everything was i told her i will never come back and i wont recommend this place. The Greek pizza is my all time favorite. Great combination of flavor, without too much topping. Try it!
