This little pizzeria is hidden away in the strip mall but it is definitely not to be missed. The prices are very reasonable and the taste is really good. The Italian sausage is especially exceptional! There is no indoor dining- might be due to Covid restrictions but the interior is very small and would not be able to accommodate big groups if dining was allowed. The staff was genuinely friendly and made me feel like I was really important to them. The whole experience was great and I will definitely be back! Don't miss out on this place! I am a pizza guy...I have been working with youth for 18 years, so I eat A LOT of pizza!! I was visiting from out of town and this place was recommended by my son as having really good pizza. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo Calzone and it was hot and tasty. I also ordered a medium and it was plenty for 2-3 people to share, so the portion was generous. I love eating at non-chain restaurants when visiting other cities and this one is a thumbs up. read more

Decided to try the place out. It is carry out only. Make sure to go to their Bryant location. Their website still has there old location on it. I got the calzone. It was ok. It was a little overcooked so it was kinda crunchy. I didn't notice any ricotta in it either. The price was reasonable and the staff was friendly. read more

Tried Paxton's for the first time tonight. For the money you will not find a better tasting pizza. I ordered a medium pan pizza with Pepperoni and another medium pan with grilled chicken. The kid that took my order over the phone seemed nice enough, and our order was ready for pick up within 20 mins or so. Their pan pizza is kinda like a Pizza Hut pan pizza except a lot less greasy and a lot better flavor. There are better pizzas out there, but they also cost a lot more than Paxton's. I think they have hit the sweet spot with their price and quality. Can't wait to try the calzones next time. read more

What it is: Awesome family-owned little take-out pizza joint What it is not: A sit-down meal spot Yum! This place is great! Particular nod to the custom Calzones, and the Medium is *huge* and does come out pre-sliced. I went crazy and got a Hawaiian Calzone (you know, the Canadian Bacon, Olives, Pineapple) and had the usual shaming from my friend, and was pleasantly surprised when the lady behind the counter piped up with "Hey, Pineapple is great on pizza!" Boom! Yeah! Almost gave them a bonus star just for that :) but that was just one of the many little moments I liked about this place. There is a cooler for drinks and a 4 - 5 chair waiting area, but it's not a great place to spend a bunch of time, so call ahead and/or plan to entertain yourself while your stuff is cooked. I almost hate to review this place as it tends to be slammed with business and makes me have to wait a tad longer on the best pizza in Bryant. I usually get the supreme thin crust and my wife gets a vegetarian with an olive oil base. Some of you may remember a very good pizza place called Shakey's pizza...well this tastes just like you remember Shakey's. Perfect crisp crust, great sauce and plenty of toppings. My current favorite pizza. I have not had any other pizza in Bryant since discovering Paxtons. Take out only. Which is fine with me. The staff has been polite on each visit. The thin crust pizza is nice and crunchy and when warmed up in the, oven leftovers are crispy as well. The only disappointment was when we tried a sandwich. Paxton's makes some really decent pizza and an OK calzone. We hadn't frequented them previously, but we moved recently and they are now our neighborhood pizza joint. The calzones are HUGE, but the veggie calzone I tried was not fantastic. I prefer a little more cheese, and this one was mostly bread and veggies. Fair enough; it's a pizza joint. So our last two orders have been pizza. The veggie pizza is much better than its calzone counterpart, with a mix of chopped vegetables, a thick, but not TOO thick, crust, and enough cheese to hold it all together. This pizza does not use a red sauce base; it uses olive oil with a mix of herbs, which I liked, but it did leave some spots a little dry. Most recently I tried the Chicken Alfredo, with no chicken (want to confuse people in Arkansas? Just be a vegetarian). Basically a cheese pizza with an Alfredo base, and mushrooms. A good, filling pizza. Nothing much to say about it, it was just cheesy and good. Paxton's is also FAST, even on weekend nights when they're busy. I appreciate not having to wait an hour for a pizza, like can happen at some other local establishments on weekends. Ultimately, there are a couple places I prefer, but Paxton's is fast, close, and makes a decent pizza; nothing fancy, but it's good. Sometimes, that's all you need. read more

Being a Louisiana transplant (by choice - love it up here!!), hafta say that when someone tells me that this place "has the best ________ (fill-in-the-blank with whatever food)" - I'm a smidge skeptical ..... Louisianians KNOW our food now! & that includes pizza (where's a Johnny's Pizza, Little Rock metro - come on?!"! Although we have lived pretty near the Paxton's pizza in Otter creek the decade we have been up here, we just never thought to visit. With Paxton's coming to Bryant, however, that was a perfect excuse to try them out... And stay with our local laziness ;-p Y'all, it did not disappoint this crew here... Packed full with toppings, cheese and plenty of flavor! We have already had it three times in the couple of weeks we first tried it and the thick crust super supreme, meat lovers (or whatever it's called) and calzones have all been on point! In addition to that, the staff on the phone and when you pick up your order have all been extraordinarily helpful and hospitable... Please know this is not a sit down restaurant, though there is a waiting area for you to sit when to pick up. But for people like me, that a lot of times just want to kick back on my couch and let someone else have done the cooking?? Shhhoooot - this hit the spot! So I went here on kinda a whim. Originally I had gone to Dave and Busters to eat and just generally check it out, but there was an hour and a half to two hour wait for food so we decided to find somewhere else to eat. Cue Paxton pizza. First thing I wasn't expecting was that there were no seats to eat at. Wasn't really a problem but would have been nice to know before we showed up. We each ordered a medium calzone with custom toppings and when it came out I was blown away by how big it was. I mean I was hungry and wasn't even able to eat half of it. My calzone was packed to almost bursting with cheese and all my toppings. Paxtons pizza definitely met and exceeded my expectations of a small pizza shop tucked kinda on the edge of town.
