When she looked up my address, she said I was 1 mile past the delivery. She put me on hold and came back to the phone and said. What would you like? I finally got my steak Philly. Peculiar service from my waitress where she was sweet but really didn't acknowledge why my beer took so long to come out. I ended up over hearing they had to change the keg & that was why. My spinach & artichoke dip came out before my beer & she had walked away before I could say something, until I realized she was walking to the bar for the beer. The beer itself seemed like it was diluted & the selection of beer was not the best. But the spinach & artichoke dip was amazing! omg I didn't want it to end, I even told the waitress how good it was! Ordered a small cheese pizza pie to go for lunch the next day (which was yummy). Arrived here for something to eat after a fun day exploring the cuty and boy oh boy what a gem we found. We arrived around 10 ish and the place closes at 11 and it was packed! Server got us a table and she was very sweet a southern sweet if you know you know. She got us our drinks and then the sampler appetizer came out. There were so many things to choose from with this appetizer including fried jalapenos, mozzarella sticks, fried calamari which was not chewy thank god, fried wings, fried portobello's mushrooms, 2 types of fried raviolis one with cheese and one with a beef filling, fried pickles, and fried onion rings! Yes ALL of that for only about 19 bucks! It was so much food we had to stop so that we could eat our entree. I ordered the rocky ronaldo which was a chopped chicken , bacon and sautéed mushrooms on a beautiful hoagie although I didnt get the bacon I asked for double mushrooms it was still delicious! Loved it but I got so full I had to take it togo. My man had the pizza and we have already planned our call in order for the next day! For a place with such a big reputation, the food quality and overall cleanliness fall shockingly short. Several reviewers have pointed out that the pizza is bland, cheery, skimpy on toppings, and lacking in flavor, and I have to agree. One recent review even mentioned that the pizza "was not as good as rated... not much toppings, needed more cheese and flavor, not as clean as hoped". That pretty much sums it up. Rocky's Corner serves some of the best food in hot springs! Excellent service , plenty of art to enjoy on the walls, and honestly their secret Italian dressing is the best I've ever had. Very smartly, they sell it by the bottle, and our party bought 2 after tasting it. Delicious salads and wings aside, the pizza is top notch. Fantastic sauce/cheese/dough ratio, with fresh toppings. The ONLY problem I have with Ricky's is their deep dish is NOT a deep dish nor is their thin crust a thin pizza at all. Don't get me wrong, we got one of each and they were both absolutely fantastic but the difference between a Chicago deep dish pizza and a thin pub pie should be extreme. That said, I loved both pizzas (I would describe them both as varying degrees of hand tossed) we always love coming to Rocky's when we visit Hot Springs. read more

Rocky's seems to always knock it out of the park. The pizza here is excellent, but don't cheat yourself during a lunch hour and NOT get the Italian Beef sandwich. I always have them add provolone cheese and get the hot and sweet peppers. O m g. The au jus on the side is so rush and savory, paired with that toasted bun and piles of tender Italian beef. The service is always friendly with staff that has been here for a long time. Exceptional pizza, even if it is Chicago inspired, if not Chicago style. Buttery, billowy crust, but not a true Chicago style pie- it takes nowhere near 45 minutes to bake, for better or worse. Ample meat on the all meat option, a medium filling enough for a round-bellied guy like me two make 2 meals off of it without having to don the elastic waisted Under Armour pants in either relief or inwardly pointed disdain afterwards. Sauce isn't sweet, but not quite bitter or garlicky as other CSPs I've had. All that said, the pizza was damned good. The service is personable, gracious, all that jazz (once seated...the young lady who, to her credit seemed to be running point on seating as well as serving and bussing, gave a slight tinge of Midwestern big-city gruffness before we were seated, and this was in stark contrast to every other person I encountered in Hot Springs, from the AirBnB host on down to guy working counter at shady gas station on the north end of town). Our waitress was impeccable; I felt obliged to get the cheesecake at the end of the meal on her recommendation to run up the bill (it was cheesecake- that's about it). I'm nearly certain this is the best pizza in town, though I didn't set foot in the Jerry Garcia's Wonderful Weed World of Hippie Pizzas, or whatever it's called off Central- best to avoid crowds and eat where the locals eat, blah, blah. And this, mi amigos, is absolutely a mom and pop where locals dine. Highly, highly recommended. Though the parking situation threw me off...water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink situation. Top tip: north side of the building facing the fence is their lot. read more

A Chicago bar in Arkansas? Well I found it, and if you are calling yourself a "Chicago Bar" you better have a good Italian beef sandwich. This one was OK. Granted it is a variant of an Italian Beef sandwich because "The Jab" comes with meatballs and red sauce. I opted to get the sauce in the side because I wasn't sure how the shaved beef would taste with red sauce. The meatballs and beef were both a little dry for my taste (reason for 4 stars) But a quick dip in the Ajou sauce did the trick. A look around the restaurant had.
