I love this place. Right on the lake with plenty of seating outside and inside. It's a sports bar atmosphere with some really friendly locals as staff. The food was awesome!!! When's the last time you saw fried bologna sandwich as an entree?? They are also a brewery with many different types of beer. My favorite was the Bock!! Aug '24 Huge bar, it has several levels! The rooftop was not open on the midweek day we went but we sat lake side on a beautiful evening. Lots of fans for the hot days. We went on a Saturday night. On vacation here in Hot Springs, and it looked like it might be a good spot. After checking in that asked us if we wanted inside or outside to which we replied, we wanted to sit outside on the patio. We sat and waited for 20 more minutes, looking at the empty tables outside before the young man came up and asked us if we wanted to sit inside or outside again. Then he handed us some menus and told us to go see ourselves at the empty tables we had been looking at for 20 minutes. After waiting for a while, our waitress finally introduced herself and we ordered drinks and the alligator nuggets. Drinks arrived pretty promptly alligator nuggets took another 20 minutes. They took our order and we waited about another 40 minutes. I ordered the patty melt. It had no flavor and it was on some old dried out rye bread. I ended up just opening up the sandwich and eating the meat dipped in ranch sauce. The burgers do not come with fries. You have to order that separately which I thought was odd but worked out fun for me cause I ate a side salad. Our drinks ran empty, and my son asked for some more tea to watch the Server responded very snappily that it was being made. There was no offer of water or anything while we sat there with empty drinks out on the hot patio with our food. The whole place gives off jock vibes. Looks like they hired all the cheerleaders and the football players from the local high school team. It wasn't very busy despite being on a Saturday night, which should've been a red flag. I would not recommend. The only thing they have going for them is the location. The service and the food was an afterthought. We went to BB on the evening of 04/14/2025 to celebrate a family event. Our server Jessica was great. The restaurant was clean and the view of Lake Hamilton was amazing. We ordered four entrees, three teas, and an alcohol drink. The Hawg Bowl and the 1/2 Nachos were good. The Wake Setter and the Butterfly Shrimp Dinner weren't good except for the Asian Cole Slaw. The fried butterfly shrimp, fried catfish, fried popcorn shrimp and fried clam strips were overcooked such that the breading was a dark hard shell and the shrimp and fish were nearly disintegrated. The crab cake was deep fried for so long that most of it was a hard crust. We tried to pick out the better looking pieces to eat, but didn't eat but a few pieces. Also, the cooking oil in the deep fryer was apparently overdue for being replaced with fresh oil. The bottom line before tip was $124.75 which would be totally acceptable if all four meals were edible. We tipped Jessica well because she was so exceptional as a server. read more

The Good: The food is delicious. I had mac n cheese bites for an appetizer, and I highly recommend it to everyone that dines here. My Philly cheesesteak entree was huge and flavorful. It made two meals for me. I would remove the bacon next time to make it a more authentic Philly cheesesteak. The fries were perfectly crispy. The ambiance of this establishment was also amazing. I loved sitting outside under the string lights and looking over the water during sunset while I enjoyed my meal. The Bad: The drinks are *extremely* weak. I ordered a Vegas bomb ($8) and couldn't taste nor feel the alcohol. I also drank my Happi Pappi Big Un ($13) and after consuming both beverages I did not even have a buzz. If you are interested in drinking here, I recommend ordering straight shots, beer, or wine, so you know the exact amount of alcohol you are getting. The Ugly: None. My server was excellent and very responsive and polite. Final Notes: While the food was great, I enjoy beverages with my meals, so it severely hinders my desire to dine here for future occasions. Our trip was side tracked due to weather so we rented o pontoon for the day and rode up to Bubba Brews. Yes, service did take a minute but as a vegan, let me tell you did they deliver on the fried veggies. We ordered every fried veggie on their menu and some literally tasted like chicken. Don't get the fried pickles but get the fried green beans..our waitress was right! We got the burgers (2/5), cfs sandwich (1/5), Cubano (4/5) and BLT (4/5). CFS was wayyyyy too dry and their gravy that you have to ask for was not good. The burgers were massive but dry. The buns were decent tho. The Cubano was legit. Ask for more of their mustard that it comes with which was basically yellow mustard with sprinkle of what looks like togarashi? The pulled pork was heavenly!!!! We had a great time here late on New Years Day. It is located right on the water and so shoreside porch, inside table or bar seating offers the same great food and service with a different vibe each spot. We dined inside and trust me, order the loaded nachos because if you do not you will see them going to another table and get order envy. One cool thing is their servers use mail room carts to bring the food out and we were like, how has no one thought of this elsewhere, especially for groups! But it was really the fried pickles that were worth writing about. They are spears, not chips, and breaded and fried JUST RIGHT that it got a little dicey at our table when there was only one more left and our social training and good manners warred with the sheer yum yums of them! We cut it in half and and the more outspoken two of us got them haha. I ordered a slice of the fried bologna made in house as an ode to my childhood and it was good but i would have liked it sliced thinner. It is basically a bologna steak, lol which is a crazy good value at 2.35 If we are ever in Hot Springs again, we will for sure visit.
