Sylvia's Pizzeria is 5 minutes from my childhood home. I was home for the weekend and went to the liquor store next door and asked the salesman how was the pizzeria? He said great!! It's my mom's place. After driving from Dallas, I was hungry and wanted something tasty. This pizza hit the spot. I got three pieces. I really liked how I could buy individual slices. I got a piece of the supreme, meat lovers, and cheese. The meat lovers was my favorite. Next time I'm in town I look forward to going again and maybe getting a drink at the bar. read more

Forced to send back. Either microwaved from frozen or left under some warmer for :30. The pizzas are no longer wood fired. You're using a stainless gas pizza oven that is stationary. So the advertising is all wrong on that. The kitchen staff and health protocols. We watched Your young teen staff go in and out of the restrooms, go straight back to the pizza line and prepare food. Not even make an attempt to walk to the hand sink that is clearly visible. This for the serving staff and bartender also. Even a male employee hauling trash outside right next to Our table in the dinning room and out the side door. Then right back into kitchen and not the hand sink. Your servers at the time were four on the floor, a bartender and a host cashier behind the counter. Upon Our entry and first :10 inside, all four servers at the service. At eating pizzas in the plain view of the guests. Eating, Licking fingers, then making drinks and sodas to be delivered to Your guests in the dinning room. A complete lack of accountability and respect for the job. But the worst is how Our server treated Us. In plain view while chatting with the other servers, she was bad mouthing Us. My husband for his mannerisms. Blatantly three times complain to Her other team members about Her table (Us) in plain view with over gesturing, while gathered around the bar with coworkers. Then all the workers glaring at Us. Enough that We came close to walking out for that alone. You have a health problem here. An attitude problem here. No management accountability here. Perhaps the owner should be present during some day shifts, or send some unknown friends of your own to observe. What a massive disappointment for what could be a better pizza place. Not to mention Your bartender made the worst Manhattan. The garnish alone was 1/2 the orange peel with all the white pit still attached. Just laziness all around for this experience and all the other guests in plain view. read more

The pizza was very large and could feed a family for to days but I have a few complaints. The first issues is that the price is very high. The second complaint is that the seasoning isn't to my taste. read more

Anytime I visit Pine Bluff, I make sure I visit Sylvia's. Always a great environment, seating upstairs is nice. Customer service has always been fantastic. The pizza is *chef's kiss* so good. My favorites are The Captain (pepperoni, peppadews, hot honey and ricotta balls) and the DiMaggio (not pictured, has arugula) . But the star of the show is their gelato flavors and cannolis!! Do yourself a favor and grab a cannoli to go for a midnight snack. Thank me later. They have the best gelato flavor right now- their Bourbon Vanilla Apple Crisp. It is amaaaazing. You're gonna want like 5 of those. Anyways, love a restaurant that is consistent in their service & food and this one always checks off the boxes. read more

The interior of this restaurant has a modern design, which is broken up by storage of pizza boxes and other supplies within the dining area. The pizza is fairly good. It's also expensive. For an appetizer, the largest pizza, one soft drink, and taxes, it cost over $50.00! So, why do they serve cheap, powdered, mozzarella cheese packets with their supposedly high-end pizzas? At the very least, their mozzarella cheese should be free of anti-caking cellulose powder (wood fibers). They ought to be shredding their mozzarella directly from a block of cheese. My server was a bit a space cadet. Not only did the wrong pizza arrive, when I mentioned it, the light bulb in her head obviously didn't illuminate. My companion and I decided that our hangry/hunger outweighed waiting for the correct pizza, so just we ate it. Too bad that we didn't get to actually try the artisan variety that we wanted. The restaurant could certainly stand to use higher quality pepperoni on their pizzas. The pepperonis on our pizza were extremely oily and tiny. I might return, but there are probably other restaurants that I would rather try first. Two and a half stars, rounded down. read more

As a native New Yorker, pizza is definitely one of those things that is either done right or don't do it at all! We are really serious about our pizza. After a long day of getting my car towed to VW in Little Rock, we passed Sylvia's and stopped in for late-night bite. What a surprise! This is the closest to NY Style pizza I've had in quite some time. I have to mention the cheese. The cheese actually has flavor! YUM! We are definitely going back. Our server said they are expanding their menu. The atmosphere is more bar/bistro than sit down restaurant, but there are some more quiet corners. I only wish they made a calzone! read more

Probably my favorite place to get pizza. I have never had a problem with service or the food. Workers are friendly and food comes out fairly quickly for a pizza place. Nice comfortable place to sit and have a conversation. My favorite pizzas are the ultimate pepperoni and the Leonidas. I probably eat here at least a few times a month if not more. read more

We were in town for 2 weeks and asked the hotel manager where to get good pizza and she said without hesitation "Sylvia's Pizzeria". We were thoroughly impressed with the food, cleanliness, service, and the amount of people that came in and out! If we ever make it back to town we will definitely be there again for another pizza! read more

Easily the best pizza in Pine Bluff/White Hall. Its not cheap, but if thats what your after, Little Cesars is right up the road. I'd place it on par with Hideaway Pizza. My only complaint would be that I'd like to see the menu expanded a little. They offer spaghetti and meatballs, but I would love to see chicken parm and a meatball sandwich on the menu. Maybe tiramisu also. I've been waiting for a pizza-pasta-sandwich place in our area. It just needs a bit more pasta and sandwiches. read more

Customer service was not good. As we walked in we were not greeted at the door. They were not full at this time 11:30am. Two dirty tables on the left. We stood at the front counter waiting for someone to even LOOK at us or even acknowledge we were standing there.
