I traveled to Pine Bluff, Arkansas from Orlando, Fl for a family reunion and this little spot is where a few of us had breakfast this morning. Parking was easy, the host was nice (we were told to sit anywhere you'd like and thanks for coming in) and the service was impeccable ~ Ms Rachel is the sweetest so please ask for her to take care of you. I had liver and onions in gravy, cheese grits, and the softest yeast roll I've had in a while. I had to add a lot of salt to the grits but I understand some people can't have salt and I use too much salt according to my Mommy lol But other than that I've decided Lucky's Cafe is my breakfast place for the duration of my stay and I may come back to try the lunch menu. Ohhh I tasted my cousins beef tips in gravy.....soooo tender and had great flavor! If you are in the area I def recommend checking them out. read more

Clean restaurant and polite employees. Food is fresh. Be very careful when having pancakes. I asked for Sugar-free syrup. I checked my blood sugar b4 eating and was 100. 30 minutes after paying and leaving my blood sugar alarm starts going off. It reads urgent elevated 361. I head to VA clinic. I called restaurant and spoke to owner she said no way, the container was sugar free. I asked why it had no label, she said it does. The container I was given wasn't. She wanted to argue with me, I told her forget it. I will not return as she was full of it. What a shame, I enjoyed their plate lunches. read more

Antique and classic farmhouse atmosphere. Home cooked style food is so filling. You are getting THE BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK here! On a tour bus of 17 called ahead with 3 hours to spare and they reserved a section for us and got us our food in less than 20 minutes. Server was professional and non-interruptive. After having driven to Pine Bluff for work on and off over the last year, we thought we'd eaten at all the local restaurants the city had to offer. But we missed one - Lucky's Cafe! For diner fare and downhome cooking, this one is a good bet. We arrived during lunch hour to a very frenzied server. She was having a hard time, but it was more funny that irritating. She probably had more tables than she could deal with at once - either that or she normally hugs 4 glasses of tea to her bosom as she walks them over to our table all at once instead of using a tray. Not the most hygienic, but anyway ... I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with white gravy, skillet potatoes, green beans and coleslaw. All of it was very good. Tasted exactly as expected, but that is definitely a good thing. We also ordered the Lemon Box Pie, which was fantastic! Not sure if they have this flavor all the time or if it was a special deal, but you must get it if it's available. Definitely a no frills kind of place. Service was friendly and quick. We'd come back if we ever have to head back to Pine Bluff again. read more

We found our way to Lucky's for breakfast after looking over multiple reviews. It was delicious! I had ham with my platter, and it was a big slice of grilled bone-in ham that we ended up sharing. The one waitress handled tables efficiently and kindly. If we lived nearby it we be our go-to breakfast spot. read more

YOU MUST EAT HERE!!! Omg I cannot RAVE about this restaurant enough! A little dive in the heart of Pine Bluff, AR. The service is down home southern friendly, food took a little long to get out but it was WELL worth it! I got the two egg breakfast with bacon and crispy hash browns. My husband got French toast, biscuits and gravy with bologna. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be coming back for more! read more
