Was driving on a trip with my father in law and we saw a sign for the huddle house, which we love the one in Clinton. However this is not the same place. We walk in and the place is dead with 2 other guests and we grab a table that we're all dirty, strike one. Then we placed our order and the waitress said there is one cook, and we said ok shouldn't be that long to make breakfast. And we wait, wait and wait. An hour goes by.... Strike 2. We ask the waitress what is taking so long, as we see other orders come before ours that sat after we did. Then a plate comes out with my eggs benedict or if you call it that. It look disgusting and no other sides with it. Strike 3 we got up and left 5 bucks on the table to cover the drinks. To add the bathroom was disgusting and no lighting. My grandmother and I came in yesterday for an early morning breakfast for a change. We sat ourselves and were not acknowledged by ANY of the employees. We waited for a good 15 minutes and in that time we noticed that the waitress was barely taking any orders and basically just talking with her coworkers. The cook had no hairnet, gloves or apron on and her hair was obviously loosely hanging even if it was put up. We finally decided to leave and we went to McDonald's. Not our plan and definitely were not happy. This is not just a one time experience either, everytime we come to any place like this in any location it is always like this, terrible service. I don't even know where to begin my review, we walked in and had to ask if we were to seat ourselves after waiting for 15 minutes to see if anyone was going to acknowledge our presence on a non crowded day. Then we placed our order and waited 45 minutes to have not only everything was wrong but some items were completely missing which we requested again and waited another 20 minutes only to find out it was sitting on the line the whole time but our waitress just did not bring it to us. We watched 9 separate parties go to pay and every party got a discount because the service and food were the worst I have experienced in years. The service was slow, the food was uncooked...as in RAW, soooo...I asked for the manager, after waiting several minutes, a "Senior Vice President of Huddle House" showed up and challenged me to "walk him through it". Today me and my daughter went to the Huddle house in White Hall and the first mistake they made was they didn't cook the cheese in my eggs that my daughter ordered and then they put cheese on my eggs when I didn't even tell them to. So the third mistake was that after I order the chicken tender buffalo basket when I got home the tenders were burnt and hard. Can't believe they thought I'd be ok with that. I'm a pregnant lady that's soon to have her baby and I'm not about to put no burnt hard food in my belly . Will never eat there again. Hungry college completely disappointed. This place is horrible. Robin our waitress was nice enough until our food was wrong. They gave us a fried egg (over well), instead of a scramble well. The toast was soggy like it has been dipped in water. The hashbrowns were just as soggy. The pancake and the waffle were both burnt and the waitress Robin tried to convince us that that a how they are. Really? The old guy was nice, but Robin, oh Ms Robin, had a pissy attitude when I asked for a discount on our meal because nothing was edible. That's when, we finally got service by that time other customers was leaving because of lack of service and frustration. Cleanliness is rated as a D-, the utensils and condiments needed to cleaned so I cleaned them before using. Poor Customer Service, I went in 3 times to check up on my order. I had to leave and ask my wife to pick up my order. It appears to me that the owner AND management team have no training. Huddle House serves in the Hospitality Industry. I would never recommend anyone to try to place until there is a change in staff. I placed an order online. I was contacted 30 minutes, after I have already gone in once to check on my order, that they did not carry the Roasted Turkey Bacon Ranch. I asked for them to substitute for a different product. They told me to call corporate. Well, I ask how I call corporate. No one was willing to help me. Krissy or whoever was designated as the manager was no help. The staff was yelling and putting all of their personal business out in the air. The manager, Krissy, appears to have no control over the staff. I called numerous of times, and they would answer and hang up after saying hello. Second and Third Time going in I witnessed it myself they were hanging up. Third time going in, Manager Krissy, states, "where this is man's order at". At this time, they never started on my order. As my wife goes up there to pick up our order, they ask us to sign some paper saying we agree to accept this difference without refund opportunities. I stated when I wanted something that costed more you told me I had to pay the $2 DIFFERENCE. But they are refusing to help me with the $3 difference that's on their end. I typically would not trip from a few dollars, but when it came to them taking a lose it was HELL NO, but for me to take a lose its all fine. The Assistant Manager comes in, and when we ask to speak to her, she goes to the back and ignore her. Come to realization that the order was placed at 1:15pm, order was not ready for pickup until 2:36pm. Yes, during the duratgion of this event, they were not cooking my order. No other customers were being served. only being checked out. They walked past us like we didn't exist. I was not the only unsatisfied customer. My family is heading from oklahoma-Alabama for vacation And we drove as far as we could and stopped in Whitehall, AR at a hotel for the night. In the morning we decided to go get breakfast and stopped here. We had never been to a huddle house before. Walked in and no one acknowledged us so we sat at a table ourselves. They had signs saying must enter with face masks and we begrudgingly wore them in and took them off at the table. Other customers were entering without them however. My dad was sweating like crazy and miserable and a waitress said that someone came to look at ac and said was working fine but that she disagreed. That's not there fault necessarily and we felt sorry for staff. We ordered and waited and waited an unusually long time for eggs and bacon and sausage. My daughters pancake was brought out first then shortly after the rest of ours. But my mom ordered her eggs cooked through and they were runny and bacon and they gave her sausage. So we sent her plate back. I took my daughter to restroom it was reasonably clean. A waitress not ours did offer a booster seat for my 3yr old that was nice. The staff all had face masks on in someway but around their neck and not covering nose. The rest of us finished our food and my moms still hadn't arrived. Waitress came over to fill drinks after another loud mouthed customer asked her too. My dad got up to get his own ketchup bc no one was coming to our table. We were going to get my moms to go but after waiting a really long time she said can you just cancel my order and I'll get McDonald's. Stopped in this establishment twice within a month and both times it was a disaster. The cook does not know the menu nor how to cook food to the way it was ordered. The waitress is almost as bad due to her inattentiveness to ensure that the order is correct before serving it. Both time it was during the evening hours 8pm to 11pm. The place was not crowded but had a few customers. There was four in our party and each order had something wrong with it. Either not cooked the way it was ordered or missing items that it came with. The cook made one order at a time even though there were four orders for out table and mostly eggs were ordered. All we got was "I'm sorry from the waitress for all the mess ups the cook did. The waitress said that they were out of certain items....really!? The usual things you get for breakfast such as sausage and grits were out of stock. The parking lot is dark due to the pole lights being inoperative as well as the marquis that advertised the specials. Half of the Huddle House sign is out so you see the "HUD" the below "HOU". For a restaurant that stays open 24 hours it is very poorly stocked with food items. But most of it is thrown out due to the cook not know how to cook the meal the way it is supposed to be prepared. The management nor the corporate office seems to care about any complaints that is sent in. So I hope that this comment on Yelp helps folks to go to other establishments to eat as this is not the place to go. Maybe after the 3-11pm shift or before it. read more

We have gone to this Huddle House several times with in the last couple of months and the service was awful. On our last trip through we were served our water by an employee that was not on the clock at least I hope she wasn't she was wearing pajama pants and t-shirt. She told us she would get us a hostess it took at least 15 minutes for someone to come over to us. There were customers that were there when we arrived they were complaining about the service also. I don't know what has happened to the customer service at one point this use to be our favorite stop for breakfast not now. read more
