Quality of food has taken a huge dive. At best, it's hit and miss but it's almost always miss. Their wings are terrible quality and never cooked right. Fries are always undercooked and soggy. Their sandwiches are never cooked right. The bread is often doughy. Their pizza is sometimes good but is also a gamble. Quality of ingredients isn't great, pizzas aren't evenly cooked. read more

This Greek pizza is honestly THEE BEST pizza I've ever had! I don't live in the area but will be trying to track down a similar artichoke in MO they have a lemon-y zest and the Pepperoncini add a touch of spice. Absolutely delicious! My family also enjoyed the 6 meat and cheese as well but nothing topped this one. read more

Marinara was a little sweet for our taste, but the veggies were fresh! We ordered the Lucky 7 and two garden salads. Everything was crisp and cold on the salad and hot and crunchy on the pizza. It was fine pizza and would go there again if we were in the mood. read more

They notified me they wouldn't honor online coupons anymore, you cannot order online either. That's too bad. If I want to to takeout I order pizza hut because online ordering. This place is primarily a buffet style pizza place although you can order pizza and other items off of the menu. The buffet is hit and miss. If you go during the lunch rush you can get fairly fresh pizza but you better be quick if you're looking for a simple pepperoni. Most of the pizzas have weird toppings and sauces on them! Who puts spinach on pizza and why??? Leave that nasty stuff at the salad bar. It's PIZZA man, not a salad!!! Other than a hit and miss buffet, the service here is for the most part aweful. There's a teenage girl that waits on tables there that has a major attitude! Trust me, I know what I'm talking about, I have a teenage daughter... The wait staff here is in need of better training. Training from top down is important. Only one out of 4 visits was our order correct. The ones that were not, were not always due to wait staff but shared responsibility of kitchen. The wait staff should write orders down and read them back to customers for accuracy. It is much more important that the order be correct than training their memories. The order should be given to the cook preparing it the same way verifying they have it correct. Also, when an order is wrong to the point of not being something the customer can eat, they should not treat the customer as if they are not important and be told the kitchen was too busy to get the order cooked correctly. We hope the Mazzio's management will take this information seriously. Grove appreciates restaurants that have friendly, respectful staff and consistency in the food. Why does this place have the Mazzio's name if it's privately owned? We drove down from NEO to get some pizza with our coupons (broke college kids.) We stood at the counter to order because that's how any other Mazzio's we have been to works. After about 5 minutes of NOTHING a waitress walks up and says have a seat. We take a seat and order our drinks. We showed our waitress the coupon we would like to use and our waitress told us they don't accept the normal coupons. Mazzios is usually our favorite place to eat pizza but this one in Grove is very inconsistent. To make it less appealing that will not accept coupons off the mazzios site as they say they are not a franchise. Maybe then they should remove the Mazzio name!? I would put zero if available. We went Saturday on impulse. I am disabled and use a scooter/wheelchair. I am on oxygen and unable to walk very far due to multiple health reasons. Because we had been at Walmart my scooter was covered with groceries. I thought I could walk and sit close to the door. The waitress said we couldn't sit there because she was to busy and we had to sit across the restaurant. I explained I couldn't walk that far because I was already short of breath. She again said no I had to go to a farther table. We told her bye and went to The Parrot and they were very accommodating and we had a very nice meal. I like their pizza. Hate their service. Dirty sticky tables, no one refills your drinks food comes out late, wrong, and even burnt once. I have tried delivery they got lost. I tried carry out they lost my order and made we wait another 30 minutes and didn't even discount the order. Try the buffet and don't expect a lot of service or a clean place to sit and you won't be disappointed. read more

I understand being short waitresses and having a 30 top in there, I've been a server for couple years but We sat there for 10 mins, I had to go find a server, she took our drinks than came back about 10 mins later without our drinks, went and got them and than took our order. Checked on us 1 time while we ate, never refilled our drinks, we refilled ourselves. We usually love coming here but tonight was just ridiculous. Things I enjoyed: the pizza, the prices, the service, the décor from a distance, the clean nice smelling restroom, the music (oldies). Thing I didn't enjoy: the dust! Dust all over everything. The cute vintage décor on the walls is not so cute when you see the layer of sticky dust on it. There was dust all over the windowsills, the walls, and the light fixtures. I understand a steamy pizza restaurant is probably not the easiest place to keep clean, but come on. Gross. I took off one star for that, but didn't find the actual booth and table to be dirty and as mentioned in my first line...everything else was great, really top notch! read more

Not the best place to go for pizza in town although better than Pizza Hut. Prices aren't too bad but service is terrible. Waitstaff should clean the tables with sanitizer and not just a wet cloth. Dirty tables, slow afternoon....too much leaning and not enough cleaning. Same for bathrooms. We waited forever for our pizza, drinks weren't refilled and no plates to eat our pizza on when it did come....and as you took a bite the toppings slid off. The cheese wasn't melted all the way and the crust was too light. It was as if our order was forgotten amidst the blabbering and rushed....then pulled out of the oven early. The wings were undercooked and their ranch dressing was clumpy. Disgusted and probably won't be going back until things change drastically. Poor management?? read more

The tables are filthy (sticky and greasy). Also a pizza place should be family friendly and there are no baby changing tables in the bathrooms. The salad bar was kept restocked but the lettuce was wilted and/or washed and too wet. They still get one star because we had a great server. read more
